  1. I am on my third laptop of theirs. Second one I had some issues with but I had bought a refurb off Newegg. First one I had lasted about 3 years until my dog knocked coffee onto the keypad and it seeped in. The second was a refurb that had issues with dvd drive. Sent it back to them and because it was too old, they bought me a new one laptop and sent it to me. By no means have I been overly impressed with any of them, but for the price and functionality, they put me through college to get an IT degree, so lots of computer work and labs.
  2. I love the idea as a dog for a companion. I used to take Dogmeat with me everywhere. Felt like a Mad Max vibe. Being online and having people shoot at or mistreat my dog is a concern. I would hate to have to ride out for three days to track down someone that harmed my dog and burn his camp down. This does also raise the question of can people harm our horses? Will trappers try to take other animals off us? I picture being very frustrated bonding with my horse for a while and him being shot by a train robber. Also, say someone does, god forbid, harm man's best friend, how would online tracking work? How can I seek out that gamertag to exact revenge?] Eye for an eye, mutt for a mutt.
  3. Most laptops are very easy to add RAM chips or change the harddrive. I recommend going to crucial.com to check out upgrades for memory. For most models you open the back panels, slide in a chip of Ram or swap out your hard drive, and replace the panel. You can always do a Youtube video search of your model laptop to see where it is and how to do it. Lenovo makes some decent affordable laptops. Again, at your price range you will have to upgrade memory later on. Even adding RAM to run processes more efficiently. RAM is where your CPU or central procesing unit is quickly storing directions before they get sent out, in a sense. Having a decent CPU with only 4Gb RAM is pointless as it gets stored up quickly and cant effectively sort all of the background processes taking place.
  4. Truly captivating moves, I presume. Looks like she should go back to writing murder. Since its a video game site, one of my old favs: Porno, or buddy cop movie: In case you were wondering where every VHS copy of Jerry Maguire went:
  5. I hope their outfits differ. Who wears the same outfit that far apart? He probably gained some weight from all the buffalo he ate.
  6. Welcome to the corral, stranger! Heard you were fond of VHS tapes so I brought you one: See you around town, I reckon.
  7. I agree with that. It also helps a player to stay in and develop a character. From the silent gunslingers seeking vengeance to the brothel whores to the one-liner, anecdote telling saloon keepers, everyone plays their role. Whether we relate to specific movies or characters , we can incorporate these characters and stories via gameplay. That I think makes this an awesome idea and helps create bonds.
  8. That is an awesome idea. Would it be better if indicated on a map and each posse tries to ride to it and capture it first? Or if it was totally unknown and someone randomly comes across it?
  9. I think its an interesting idea. Are spoils shared amongst the camp or posses? If so, an entirely too large idea is this: A couple farmers, a couple hunters, a couple fisherman, a couple traders, a couple bounty hunters and a couple keeping the peace around the ranch, and a couple train robbers. speaking of, customizable ranches. The posse can build it up, raise livestock, train the horses, or build on the land. Obvioisly that involves an almost No Man's Sky level of customization which won't happen in this game, but maybe consider it for the future. For now, it would be cool to have some ranchers in the group, helping to train the horses to get them ready for jobs. One possible issue is if a lawman is in your posse, and you are a train robber, there is a conflict created amongst your own group. The lawman not making arrest affects his position with the townsfolk and other officers. I am also apprehensive of taking one job and falling into being stuck in one area of the world. Although I wouldn't mind being a barkeep at a saloon and hearing amazing stories while watching duels.
  10. I think that would be cool. It was also be neat if you ran into another bounty hunting posse trying to take the same bounty, and you have to barter with them or fight them. From town to town, visit different saloons and follow the bounties trail of crime to find them.
  11. Fleshlight Frankie and the Pocket Posse. My friend and I at work have an ongoing joke that we are writing a Fleshlight Kama Sutra. Juvenile, but entertaining. I feel the Westward Expansion can somehow be made into an erection ephemism.
  12. Try those out. If not, search Red Dead Redemption 2 map
  13. I would suggest selecting a section of the map you will claim as your territory. As @Archbell displayed, use alliterations( like how he used the same first letter in both words). The Grizzlies Gunslingers Tall Trees Trappers (trappers could be ideal as it was an occupation then for fur traders and now for, well, you listen to rap so you already know) Etc. Me personally, I am going with dark historical references such as The Donner Dinner Party Posse or something along those lines. Something that basically makes us sound like psycho cannibals. No one wants to mess with a gang of cannibals.
  14. Give me a guy that looks like a rugged Bruce Campbell or Clint Eastwood and I am in hog heaven. @BropolloCreed79 nailed it with the comment of not having randomized loot crates. Its one thing to be able to purchase the selection of your choice, but to purchase a random roll of cosmetics where a person ends up dumping more money in than the actual game's cost but ends up with getting duplicate clothing is absurd. Loot crates should only be purchased with in game currency. Real currency should buy specific cosmetics of the player's choice. I hope every game company learned from EA's blunders in Battlefront 2. Money should not make any player better than another to create a pay-to-win experience. Nor should it be spent on possibility of duplicates. Dead by Daylight does well of offering some cosmetics available for purchase with money, as well as other outfits available with iridescent shards(in game currency). Its equal and allows for the player to acquire the specific feel and look they are seeking.
  15. I cannot believe Game informer didn't choose this as the cover. Wonder why or what game beat it out. Awesome for pS fans to get cool bonus content, but no love for ththe Boxers out there.
  16. Am I the only one who has issues with the traffic lines and that one SUV? Playstation fans are lucky to get get some soundtrack tidbits and collectibles through Playstation Magazine later in the month. Too bad there isn't anything for Xbox fanbase yet. Fingers crossed. Definitely getting hyped up.
  17. Best part of Springfield is staying on 70 to go past it. Haha I still have a couple friends out there. Could be worse. You could live in Enon! And yes, sad to say i agree that I miss that sitcom in some twisted way. I thought about replying that as well when @Cokeyskunk brought it up. @BropolloCreed79 you have just hit legendary status. Congrats on the life upgrade with Mrs Creed.
  18. Yeah, I have no need for crack, so I will pass on that. Akron has a nice restaurant called Dante's in the area they are revitalizing. There was a cool venue where I saw Agent Orange and Reverend Horton Heat once. Other than those places, hard pass on Akron too. Sometime when I get caught up in life I will head up to Ctown. We can paint the wagons red. @Cokeyskunk all we have in Pittsburgh is Stillers fans and Donnie(pronounced Dahnie) Iris. I have C-envy.
  19. I am in Pittsburgh. He is in Cleveland, where they set rivers on fire. https://youtu.be/oZzgAjjuqZM I am originally from Dayton though so I am an Ohio boy at heart.
  20. My trials have never involved soaking in a tub of Guinness. I think he has me beat. It would be a good close match though. I would be willing to bet him and I could drink a keg of Guinness in an afternoon though. I wonder if our ladies kept some food coming, how many bottles we could knock down in a day. We need to meet up sometime Bro. Only a couple hours away.
  21. This is a topic on previous forums that @BropolloCreed79 and I seemed to excel in. That was from a beer tasting my lady and I hosted a couple weeks ago
  22. Do you think R* will ever release this game as backwards compatibible on Xbox One? The list of games is small, but this would make a fun addition to that library. Does anyone remember playing through this game? Along the same line of conversation about backwards compatibility, what about Manhunt? Manhunt 2 never made it to the Xbox realm and it would be awesome to play through for the first time for me.
  23. I would like to pay full price and support the devs, but too much life going on right now and can't afford to justify it. Especially with Fallout '76, and this game coming out soon. Another game I have been waiting a year for is the Call of Cthulhu game. I barely have enough time to play the games I already have. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one that got put off by it at the beginning. Haha
  24. This game had been on my radar for a while. Compulsion games did another game called Contrast, which I really enjoyed the story-telling in. It had a new innovative concept and some fantastic lighting. Also, for the achievement hunters its an easy 1000gs. The small development team up there reminded me a lot of Double Fine, whom are one of my favorite developers. Double Fine made Psychonauts, Brutal Legend which had me hooked already. Then Costume Quest was a good throwback to old JRPGs, followed by Stacking which was a fun and unique concept for a puzzle game. Iron Brigade had me addicted for a while. Enough about Tim Shaefer and DF though. I played the demo of this game and think I had messed up at the beginning with the key. Automaticaly making it so I had to restart the game. I think I stopped right there. Once I hear some reviews and see a price drop I will probably pick it up to give it a try again. It does look like creepy fun. Cool concept and feel.
  25. Doesn't it just require USB 3.0 essentially? As @Truth said, you can probably look into just a flash drive if you need a quick, cheap fix. I do like that this one is designed for Xbox though. Plug and play ready is handy. Noticed only 2TB edition is functional with Xbox 360 though? Seems peculiar. I am honestly considering getting one of these for the aesthetic purpose. That is if I dont put it towards an XB1X.
