I loved World of Warcraft, but those turn based ones... man they are boring. I did enjoy Final Fantasy VII though. Back to Red Dead Redemption 2 however, I feel like the community is starting to reach boiling point... people are dying for more information!! This is freaking crazy how long we've had to wait.

There must be a few COD fans here? What did you think of the trailer? Personally I'm pumped but also hope that this isn't just "Battlefield 1 2.0". Bring on the gameplay footage. I gotta say it's a heck of a lot more promising that the last few games.

You win some, you lose some. RDR2 is coming and I doubt Rockstar and/or Take-Two wanted any Red Dead related attention focused elsewhere!

Speaking from experience and it should go without saying - if the PC is in your bedroom then NO, do not do this!

All I know is NEVER RULE ROCKSTAR OUT. They will give us an amazing game.

Sex is a massive part of the TV series Westworld and TBH I guess it was a much bigger part of the "Cowboy life" than I realised. So I think there will be brothels etc in RDR2.

I would change the title of this article to say "best melee combat AND gun play" - reason being that car chases, racing, etc are a big part of the GTA series and they won't be in RDR2 obviously. So Rockstar will need to make up for that with much much better fighting mechanics. I know that this isn't a GTA game, but I'm more saying GTA V could have a weaker fighting system because it has cars, mods, races etc. RDR2 won't have that so if the combat mechanics are the same it will be a let down!

I'd say this is pretty much a given. If they are basing the code of the game on GTA V then it seems likely that this would be an easy enough port to RDR2. And while I haven't used the Editor myself, I have seen plenty of videos made using it.

I think that 3 protags is a good possibility but I also think that the "leak" above is BS. Like @HIGHHorse it makes sense when you are part of a gang and also allows Rockstar to pack in so much for gametime within the same story. I think we'll get 3 protags and would be OK with it, I think R* did a pretty good job of balancing them all in GTAV.

This is kind of like saying that the version of RDR2 we get at launch won't be the best because the Xbox Two is gonna be released and the game will be re-made for that. I don't buy it. The game we get whenever RDR2 is released will be the absolute best that we could ever hope for.

I was gutted to see this but I also think it means that we might see Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC sooner than we think...

Yakuza 0 was on special so I nabbed that over the weekend. Enjoying it so far, really fun game!

I like the idea of being able to cross the surface only. It would open up the maps so much more and I know that although Cowboys aren't known for their swimming prowess, being able to get from A to B over a short distance on the water's surface shouldn't be a big deal. Leather doesn't float that well on the other hand though...

If it's Grand Theft Horse then maybe I'll pass unless it's priced like the GTA V single player DLC that a game of that nature should be.

I think they will announce more info on their deal with Playstation (or rather Sony will) but otherwise we won't hear anything about Red Dead Redemption 2 directly from either Rockstar Games or Take-Two... it's just not their style. Rockstar have always done their own thing.

I'd put my hand up for this if it was implemented.

Owning a ranch of some sort is more less a given. I mean look at what you need/can own in GTAO to earn cash, Office, Vehicle Warehouse, Cargo warehouse, other garages, MC business etc. All that kind of stuff is gonna be ported over with Wild West equivalents.

I don't think that image at the top is too bad TBH, at least for the online component. It's gonna be pretty damn boring if everyone is running around in brown clothes. We need some way to express our individualism, man.

@i KB Microtransactions suck no doubt, but in GTA Online it's not like you 100% need to pay anything to progress. It can just take a bit of time. There is no content whatsoever that is locked away for people who pay real money only. And in fact, the shark cards are handy for some people who don't have much time to play/grind and would rather just pay.

Do you mean options or features? Assuming it's the later I don't really have anything specific in mind, just keen for Rockstar to blow my mind with how awesome the game hopefully is.

Yeah GTA Online is getting a little boring to be honest. Rockstar need to keep that DLC coming thick and fast and they've kinda dropped the ball of late. That new adversary mode BLOWS.
