I won't pretend I know how marketing goes for gaming but from what I haven noticed, each dev company is a bit different. Some will let you know months in advance when a game is coming out and others only leave a few weeks or just over one month. I really don't know what they plan on doing for this but like D3x said, they have people watching and waiting already so it isn't like they need to kill themselves with advertising a new game. This plays off the first one.

So there is still no official date for this then huh? If they are planning on Spring, we will have to know soon. A friend of mine has played every single one but I have only played the first one. Depending on the reviews, I may get a copy but this depends on how close the release will be to RDR2.

I actually thought they did have a beta period for GTA V that was open for the online end but thinking back, it was likely for a hired crew like mentioned. I never really put attention on this for any game because I want everything to remain a surprise. Like outside of trailers, I want to experience it myself before I see anyone else experience the game.

So like if I am in the middle of playing and a friend requests to join, they can at any time but if they leave in the middle of the mission, the AI takes back control over the character and just continues?

@DarkSharkhas the right idea I think. Seems like it is back but not back that far. I would peg it to start around 1892 and 1898. Somewhere in there just seems right.

Damn man, he must be on iPhone 127,00 by now! LOL But yeah I have used them a few times and never cared for them. I only ever bought one myself and it was a used one. I ended up going back to Android.

I wasn't bothered by it myself honestly. Like it was slow in the beginning but it did get patched a bit and sped up. Sometimes it sucked (waiting 5+ minutes to get on a server) but most of the time I wasn't bothered. As long as we don't have to wait that long to get online I will be fine.

Dutch looks younger but not THAT younger like you said. So I would say at most, it is 20 years before RDR's story took place. If I had to guess and exact year, I would say 1891. Just have a hunch there.

April? Really?? Well hell yeah it would be better than May but I don't see it happening. They may want to have an offset for the date by a few weeks to run through final server testing for online.

Something we should do sometime, maybe right before the release, have like a watch night or something for Tombstone. I am sure we can find a link online. Been a while since I watched the movie but I enjoyed it a lot. I might watch it this weekend. I will jot down any similarities to the RDR characters I see too.

Anyone watching the Scream series? Tempted to start up on it. I think it is on season 2 right now. I don't know how it lines up with the films but it looked interesting enough to me.

Nah they will be fine. This won't be as big of a load up as GTA and even if it was, they will have better servers and tech behind them by now. That was in what? 2013? Should be more than able to handle things.

I didn't think of this. I guess it is down to them. Based on what they said with GTA I can see them making us wait but they may do thins one differently.

Not sure if this topic was discussed or not, mt apologies if it was. Do you think they will make another Undead Nightmare 2 just because it got such positive feedback or do you think they will do something new this time around?

Winter is a pain when you have to travel in it. We don't get a lot of snow here but it happens enough to cause issues. People drive like they never drove every year when it gets cold out.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe for another game this would be a good option but not RDR2. You have to play a game to get better at it. What is the point of playing something when some or all challenges are removed. I think it would be more fun to run solo and take out a whole gang personally.

"We have lawman in three different states after us" He says this in the trailer. That would mean there are at least 3 states confirmed for points of travel. Map wise, it would make sense to do the OP pic since you can be in all 4 states without having a HUGE map that would be too large. On the other hand, as mentioned above, there are no alligators in those states. If I had to guess: Alabama has mountains as well. Nothing is more heart of the south than Alabama.
