I'm planning on having my gf deliver me food and hand feed it to me, maybe even chewing it first so the act of eating in real life doesn't distract me too much from eating in RDR2.
Even with Amazon preorders? I've seen you can do it with PSN but what I've read about Amazon is that they are generally available at midnight on the day of release.
For every R$ release there are 4 basic things I look for in the map. I want to be able to:
get lost in because it's so big
spend a week in one area because its so interesting and densely populated
be able to go to another area a week later and have a fairly fresh experience there because it's been a while since I've been there
still be discovering new things 6 months from now
From what I've heard and read so far I believe R$ have delivered on all 4 points for RDR2.
Ooh I dunno. Maybe. I'll check.
EDIT: Unless they give out the code early it says it will be available on October 26, 2018 at 12:00 AM (US/Pacific), which, incidentally, in my timezone, is 9pm THURSDAY 25th OCTOBER
If you have physical then it will be partly installed from the disc and the rest downloaded. What the split is hasn't been confirmed, nor is it likely to be before launch.
Pretty sure if you buy a horse you will always own that horse, but if it dies then you have to build the bond with it again. So, with the war horse, you will always have access to it but your bond will come and go depending on whether or not it is killed.
Add to that the fact it will take 11 hours to install the 105gb plus d/l and install the inevitable updates and we're looking at a november first play.
Some hunting goes on, like pheasants and game, but as gun culture is virtually nil there it's not really a thing. I don't mind shooting a 3D modelled deer but to do it in real life isn't really my thing. I don't kill anything with a face.
Although I spent hundreds of hours in offline mode (rarely went on online, if ever after the first few times), I only played the story mode once. I found a lot of the missions repetitive and boring and the thought of replaying them even now after all this time makes me balk at the idea.
