Battlefield 1 has dynamic weather (including dust storms) which are pretty realistic and online of course. Whether you'd get dust storms in mountains i'm not sure, but fog, yes. Sure it'll look spectacular.

I'm not sure how they could handle cowboys and indians delicately. I mean, the whole episode has never showered white american settlers in glory and for me the genocide of the native americans and the war that was forced on them is not something that should be glorified or devalued by putting it in a video game.

That's a guess. We've only seen a bit of the game. Think you might be on your own there kid. Most people didn't get much out of the desert aspect of RDR. Agree. Not what I expected from the main protag. Thought it would be someone younger, bit more rough round the edge. He just looks like an accountant.
