  1. Yeah but it would take 3 weeks to get here. Where I do like to have the physical copy, I don't like to wait to play a game.
  2. Yeah same, I love learning about gameplay. I have to be honest, I'm not particularly interested in the story at all. Just me?
  3. He looks like a dad. I was hoping for a cooler, more badass looking protaganist tbh.
  4. We spoke on here a while back about this. I can't see the genocide of native americans for the sake of stealing land being a nice thing to put in the game, historically accurate or not. Maybe some conflict here and there or some semblance of trading as per The Revenant, but fights etc, na I can't see it myself.
  5. Yeah maybe horse races might be a thing, cross country or something. Might be fun! I live on a Thai island so pickings are slim when it comes to available servers and online players. Ping to US or UK are just too big to be viable for multiplayer. Having said that, up until the point where I got rid of my 360 in 2015 I was playing RDR SP a lot. Just wandering around, hunting, poker etc. I imagine RDR2 to have 1000x more things to do, and purpose for doing them (like hunting) so this will keep me immersed for ages. I hope they have gambling in SP. I want to earn enough money to get away from everyone.
  6. Also modding is a big thing in GTA, which I think won't be a problem in RDR2 as it's current gen only. Modders used to exploit the backdoor from (example) XBox360 to XBoxONE as it was a lot easier to mod files on a 360.
  7. True but that might create more of a divide like there is in GTA. I like the thought of it all being central, like the initial development of the game. That might mean it's less disjointed. Dunno, sure it will be good either way. BUT. One thing I'd like to mention is that most of my time playing GTAO is now just buying cars, driving them round for a bit then switching it off. I can never get enough people to join a heist, and if I manage to eventually get into one someone just quits and then we have to start the whole process again. The CEO missions are boring grinds and the adversary modes are just crap. The only saviour really were the stunt races, which I played a lot, but obvisouly we're not going to be racing horses now. Really not sure what aspect of RDRO will appeal to me. If I can get into heists etc and actually play alongside people successfully then it will be good, but if I'm in the same boat I am with most other online games, where there is no one within a thousand clicks of me playing the same game, then I think I might be pretty bored.
  8. I'm probably old enough but certainly not mature enough for your group.
  9. Yess!!!!! As if you picked up on that
  10. Based on how GTA5 vs GTAO evolved, my prediction is that they will take what they have learned from that and adapt the experience for RDR2. What I am talking about is this:- When GTA5 was first launched, there was the promise of DLC. What actually happened was that this plan was scrapped and all development on the SP mode ceased. Online had map changes (additions of bunkers etc), new guns, cars, clothes etc etc. This tells me that (had they known this from the start) R$ would have developed the relationship between online and offline differently. When I say that I there might not be an obvious divide between the two, I mean like GTA5. The SP mode has been left behind and is now totally separate from online, which I'm certain wasn't their first intent. If you remember, they were releasing cars etc into SP mode as well as online, all the way up to the introduction of Benny's, so that tells you that it wasn't part of their original plan to separate it. Like I said, I think they will learn from that and online vs offline will be different to what we have in GTA. Not sure how they would do that, maybe you're already in an online lobby when you're playing SP, maybe there will be a single map for both online and offline and seamless interchanges between the two modes. Maybe in SP you can start an online mission. Not sure, but I'm betting it won't be the same as GTA.
  11. Did you have that thing where you wake up and think RDR2 was out but then your world is crushed 3 seconds later when you realise it was a dream
  12. What am I missing here - you could ride horse drawn carts and even steal the 4 horse stagecoach in RDR1. What would be different with a covered wagon? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.
  13. I think online will be more intertwined with offline now so I don't feel there will be an obvious divide between the two.
  14. I bought my mum a cheap version of an iPod once, basically just an MP3 player that looked like one. Where it visually looked alright the software was so terrible that I just ended up throwing it in the bin and buying her some slippers. That's where the chinese stuff falls down for me. They can make good casing molds but they can't program firmware for s***.
  15. Always tell them you love the games they buy you. It's a big thing for a parent to buy a game for a kid as they are always terrified they are out of touch and will get it wrong. Always lie. Always.
  16. I moved to a Thai island a few years ago and it's virtually impossible to get physical copies of anything after Fifa 14 here so I am forced to get the digital download. I do like having a physical copy, the smell, unwrapping the plastic, reading the new inlay. All adds to the experience. Digital downloads are so impersonal.
  17. Buy XBox because of my good XBL GT, borrow PS4 to play Gran Turismo on, Sell Nintendo as I have literally zero interest in anything it has to offer. A french man A jetpack that doesn't work A cracked copy of Photoshop from 2006
  18. R$ will never do split screen
  19. It's a difficult thing. Wanting to know but not wanting to know. I personally don't mind learning about it, knowing that simply reading a feature is nowhere near playing the game.
  20. Do women have to shave their legs?
  21. I have seen them in cutscenes but not in open play. Just too risky for game publishers.
