Free Stuff?

So I noticed that they tweaked the stuff that was making me money and most of it went against me.  Fine I have to grind harder or find different ways to make money.  I am ok with that.  Yet I want to know where the free stuff is?  Been playing since day 1 and was playing with others that claimed they already got theirs.  I know they said it may take a day or so to get this resolved, but now do we have to worry about a glitch that doesn't allow us to get our due?

Well, that is enough to ruffle my feathers, if you have players that got it on Dec 6th while others won't see it till Dec 14th.

Better than not getting anything at all.  I'm not sure such a delay makes a big difference.

It's more of a matter of you all ready giving it out to some and not all over such a huge span.  I'm all for trying to keep a level playing ground.   Roughly 8 days from yesterday would be huge troll time for some.

Not yet, I will probably be on the 14th.  To be fair, I wasn't expecting it, so I shouldn't be angry.  Just don't want to be trolled.

Did it just show up in your available funds?  Or did you have to go to the lockbox and/or log out and back in for it to show up?

Curious minds want to know.

The 12/14 date was for the reimbursement of money for those that bought weapons at the old prices.  They will be refunded at some point between now and 12/14.  The $250 and 15 gold bars was supposed to be paid out straight away is what I understood.

I'm going to reset my system and check again later today.

I just got mine a few minutes ago, when selecting free roam or series matches before logging into the game, there was an option to claim a gift from Rockstar.  Clicked that and windows popped up that I thought were errors at first, but it gave me the difference that I spent on things they lowered, then the 2 bonuses, then logged me into free roam. Not sure if it has to be done like that now, but that's how I got mine and it was in my "pocket" when I got in.

Kind sir, calm down... The reason they issue things on different dates, is so that it doesnt flood the servers.  I received my 15 Gold Bars and $250.00 dollars yesterday, but in the process guess what happened?? The server crashed not only me but a whole lot of other people. Now imagine them sending the free gold bars and money care packages out all at the same time. It would crash immediately.

Lets them take their time, we do not want a repeat of what happened when GTA Online was first released.

Yeah we have are money and gold, I was just making the point that if you do it for the whole community at the same time the server would crash everyone.

I logged on earlier this afternoon and didn't get mine but my boyfriend got his, mind you we play in the same room from different consoles. lol I then logged back on a few hours ago and got it. I guess the distribution of it is all messed up.

Problem is that if you fear crashing your servers, then you need to get better servers.

I never got my bonus so there is that. Did I miss the time for it or something?

As for the other free stuff, like exclusives and what not. I heard that they were giving Xbox players it for free in about a week or so. It isn't verified though so take it with a grain of salt.

That is correct they can.  Yet a better server should be able to handle whatever you got to send.  Otherwise the are crap servers that need replaced.  It is a known fact that game manufacturers will use crap servers to save money.
