So it's been happening for awhile. I mentioned it before but the rep I spoke to said they were rolling back patches and making preparations for the update tomorrow. It would stand to reason that folks are going to see old issue reappear and new ones occur during this period. I never had disconnects before but do now although not as bad as some others.
tadp0le Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 I only had this issue maybe once or twice since launch and I was able to back out and join and NPCs and animals were there. Hopefully, they fix this issue tomorrow for everyone who has had it going on for awhile.
MissyXS Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 (edited) UPDATE: Since the patch launched today, I have NPCs again! Everything seems to be working properly so far. I hope the same is true for all of you. Happy hunting! Edited February 26, 2019 by MissyXS 1 1

KylesDad7 Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Been at work for the last 9 hours and got a couple more to go, so I haven't been able to see for myself.
Steven Kreg Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 has for me and people i know. have been told tho, that their are a lot less animals, like, more realistic, instead of like a zoo where their are tons of animals everywhere you might actually have to hunt a little.
Sleepin9to5 Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 It is now March 5th and for the past few days I have been experiencing this same issue. No wildlife. I'm shocked that this has not been fixed yet.
lumper Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I hadnt experienced any of this and then yesterday I found in one lobby I found no animals, nothing, actually for a time, I was alone in the entire map, there were no players, it was amazing but yet empty, Then I bounced and came back after a while and I was in the Bayou and I saw more gators, more fish and more pelicans and herons that I have ever seen before, I literally shot down 6 pelicans, 4 or 5 herons, killed 6 gators, fished and caught 20 bass plus picked a few up, and killed 4 to 6 boars all in a 10 minute span in one small area, it was crazy over populated with every animal from the region, I was loving it. I also went to Colter, once nothing not a deer, rabbit or crow, nothing, then a few other people spawned or traveled up there and all of a sudden like someone flipped a switch, I found a herd of bucks, BUCK's they alwasy run solo in my experience, I found 6 in a group on a mt side, they couldnt run I shot all 6 of them, plus a few mt goats, so I dunno what is going on, maybe they are working on some balancing technique for animals per player or something?
Jackalope_Jill Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 (edited) Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I've had to re-enter new lobbies over and over because they were just empty, no animals. At times I'll be in a session and after an hour or so most of the animals have gone or emptied the area. That's my clue to enter another lobby so the animals will re-spawn. I didn't have much of this problem back in March, I feel for me it's been happening the past month, I dunno..
