What do you enjoy about the online game (how do you play) ?

What silo do you fall into?

1. Free Roamer: Play missions and intercept other missions (don't mind the occasional griefer) and grind when I need to stay alive (money and food)

2. Just want to explore and grind (kind of wish I had a private instance at times)

3. PVP and Free Roam events are my jam

4. Split my time pretty much doing some of all of the above.

5. GRIEFER!

Free roam solo. Had a 7 person posse with nearly all 100 level range. They gave up on the thing and now play 2K like its going out of style.

Hunt, fish, pick stuff. The free roam events are both boring and stressfull at the same time.

I try to posse up when hunting an area with other people ( posse name "Wet Bandits" on PS4)

You're welcome to join me/my friends some time if you're ever bored. I too like to pick flowers and stab things with arrows and go horse fishing. We range from rank 64-185. Shoot me a message some time aye.

I haven't been playing a whole lot as of late, just been too busy. When I do have time to play I get fed up with other players more and more. Like I wouldn't mind so much if I was rolling with someone but the friends I normally play with are on at different times or too busy as well. So lately when I do play, I play solo and mostly focus on hunting and saving up cash.

 I do wish we had a private server at times, or at least a passive option so people cant just shoot you in the face at the butcher for no reason.

I like hunting, fishing, exploring and doing the story and stranger missions.

I do like when others try to intercept my missions, I have no problem with that and people who give you a GG after you assassinate them, I love that.

I think Rockstar adding daily challenges that include killing players before there is a passive/hostile option is a mistake and promoting foul play and a lot of misunderstandings and is in part causing problems.

Most disliked encounter that seems to keep happening, having someone riding way too fast toward me, nervously trying to predict where to go and end up smashing into me, knocking my pelts off my horse, then shooting me because they are mad at crashing into me, really makes me not want to bother, after an hour or hunting all perfect pelts then loosing all of them 5 feet from the butcher really sucks.,

I fit mostly into categories 1. and 3. but since the latest update I've had to start shooting other players on sight so I could probably fit into number 5. as well now.

I think #4 over all.

After getting to level 26, 3rd tier on all my ability cards, all the weapons I want, and customize all those weapons the way I want them, I am done grinding for cash as my main thing, and now I just want to play missions and try every aspect of the game.

I did what I had to to get where I am now and feel good about my character and his ability to fight and hold his own in any mission type.

Ill still grind when I need cash, but as far as leveling up, Im done worrying about it now, I cant wait to get to higher levels for many things I want, but now that I have the basics, I am fine with it happening at its own pace based on how I play.

So, ill hunt now for big game meat and pick thyme, mint and oregano to keep my satchel stocked, but otherwise after about 4 days in game maybe? and 90% of that spent fishing for cash to upgrade my stuff, I am just gonna jump in to free roam, see whats going on, and where my camp is, and then either clear a hideout, or join a mission and keep doing that until I am bored.

Everyone has their own strategy, I play alone, so for me, it was just about being competitive, now that I have familiar weapons I feel good about any situation that might come, when I first started playing, I felt naked and alone, like I had a loin cloth on and a sling shot and with all the red dots running around not knowing what they were dong or migth do, the first 30 hours were pretty intense, it is all settling down now for me anyway.

I like a good rampage against the law or Del Lobo and then spend a couple of sessions hunting to restore my honour level.

Solo - hunting/hideouts/working on awards. Posse - stranger missions/replay story missions.
