Should there be leaderboards?

GTA V and Max Payne 3 has the "Social Club" leaderboards. I never really cared much for this myself but should RDR2 Online be included in this or maybe even have its own online leaderboard perhaps? I noticed not really anyone is talking about this. I think it would be something cool to have for the game. Not so much to include it in this one but for RDR2 to have its own.

They likely will just group the game in the Social Club since it is the easiest thing to do. I doubt they will have a separate leaderboard for this game. I can get wanting it to be on its own since it is nothing like GTA or Max Payne, but those games aren't too similar to one another either.

This. No point in making a separate platform to host leaderboards on for a game that falls under Rockstar.

I liked leaderboards as a kid not so much these days. I think they can be great for people who have time to invest but outside of kids/teens who really does? I am not bothered if they do or if they don't to be fair here.

It will just be added in with the Social Club. They will likely add in Bully when that comes out as well as LA Noire assuming you can do something online.

Do I care? nope.. not really. Never paid attention to them on online games. I only focused on my own direct scores and achievements.

It isn't a matter of should there or should there not be, there will be. Like blunt mentioned above, some people care about them. I don't. They haven't meant much of anything to me since I was a kid. I would play arcade games and those would mean something when you get the high school. This, not so much. Not to me at least.

Yup. There will always be leader boards because it is a tradition with games that dates back to arcades. I personally like them and like to see who is on top. I am not one to chase for place or anything but it is still cool to look at see where you rank over all.

I am sure a lot of people like checking their own ranking. Even if they place in one of the 9999 slots, it is stills something considering the amount of people who play.

I had a talk with a friend who said the same thing. Like if they start separating games now, then what would be the point of the club.
