Moosh89 Posted May 29, 2019 Author Posted May 29, 2019 I'm a dummy, I was trying the wrong door at Adlers but my horse kept going invisible as I approached that door. I didn't realize the main door was on the other side (opposite the road you come in on) All good for CEs today, not one, but I did have a day or two before the patch without crashes, so we will see as time goes on.

Just to clarify, as soon as you click on free roam, it brings you to the PlayStation Store? Check to see if you have PlayStation Plus still active and enabled.

And this is the first game I downloaded from the store. Was playing fine the first day online. But second day keep goes to PlayStation store.

Normally you need an active subscription to play online.

I guess the catch is that they won't get the PS+ benefits of sales, free monthly games, etc. I'll also wager they offer a bit more to to the members if they implement this. Now, I don't know if this is their plans for this gen of console or the next. .....or if this is even going to come to fruition or just rumor but I thought I'd mention it. Personally, I think PS+ is worth the yearly subscription fee but that's just me. Btw, played for about 2 hours last night without any CE crashes. I just had some weird, random stuttering at the end when we accepted a mission.

I remember when Plus first launched I was furious that there was a premium service, then a year later I caved and signed up even though online access was still free. With the price of Plus jumping up the last few years (in Canada at least) it might be nice to cut back in the future or at least not sweat if my Plus is about to expire. By the way, no crashes yet today either but I only played for about an hour. How's everyone else doing for crashes?

I questioned him about it so let's see if he can fill in the blanks. His video makes it sound like it's been confirmed and yet I can find no other source other than his video and the now deleted Reddit thread. ....hence the "rumblings" description. This guy is a nobody and yeah, it could have just been clickbait. Gave him a thumbs down simply for the lousy commentating. 😄

I've never payed for PlayStation Plus, and I've been getting it free going on 4 years now. I just make a temporary email online, make a new account, punch in my credit card, get 14 days free and turn off auto-renewal and delete my credit card once my trial has started. I've been doing trials all this time, never payed for PlayStation Plus haha. 1
Antonia Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 No crashes for me the last 2-3 days. Only 1-2 disconnections. Playing for 2-3 hours a day seems they are fixing the game. EU here.

I let him know all seems to be well now with those of us here who have been affected by this. I also provided him a link to the thread. Thanks again to @Moosh89 for creating the thread and to all who participated. After a couple good, long sessions under my belt with no blue-screen crashes and confirmation from R* that they had addressed the issue, I'm confident that I can put this behind me for now. If anyone is still having this specific problem please let the group know. Thanks again folks. 1
