BelleStarr
Here is the link What do you think? It's probably genuine, the narrator said deadeye has evolved and so has hunting. Maybe that's what she means.

D3x
So we are getting a more "real" look at the shots we take then? Pretty cool. Looking forward to seeing this for myself.
DaveSpeek
This is going to make use dead eye even more fun for me, especially with hunting. I mean if they do make it similar to that hunting game where they actually let us see the targeted organ on animals... That would be so slick!

On another note, did you know in the original RDR, that Dead-Eye worked for molotov cocktails, too??

YodaMan 3D
I've tried it before and it didn't do that. It landed on the ground and never got close to the bird.
Fribbo
That's so cool, kind of similar to Sniper Elite, when you kill someone it had an x-ray of the enemy you shot, didn't even notice this detail before seeing this thread.
CrabApples
That was part of a bug/issue with the game. The gif is from this video: I don't know if they ever fixed it. Kind of curious to see if I can do it and see what happens.

I read that they fixed it in MP but didn't bother for SP.

This made me think of something: I know it would have been oogie, but shouldn't dynamite have blown animals and people into body parts . . . ? In the original RDR, they just rag-dolled in the air and landed dead. Would have been much better if they tore to pieces. The same with shooting people with a shotgun - you could walk up to a dead body, shoot them in the face with your shotgun from a foot away, and they just kinda shift. It would have been much better if it had made the head just -- kinda -- atomize. Hope they fix that in RDR2.

Can't see that changing now, as excellent as it would be.
