So summer is over officially (or nearly officially depending on your time zone) and I have to say... GOOD F^%$ING RIDDANCE!

I am not a fan of hot weather. I am not a fan of how people act in the summer. I am not a fan of kids being out of school. I am not a fan of beaches or public pools, do no ever ask me to go. I am not a fan of bugs. I am not a fan of fans either!

Anyone else glad summer is kicking rocks?

I love Summer as much as I love Winter, depends where you live I guess and how hot it gets.

I live in London and it rarely gets hot to the point where it's unbearable, for me at least.

I'm guessing you didn't enjoy having Summer off as a kid? I had some of my best memories during Summer as a kid and although kids can be annoying they deserve the time off.

I actually like summer but only for the thunderstorms, cookouts, and swimming. I prefer it to be cooler overall but not freezing though so fall and spring are my seasons.

Fake news.  Fall is the superior season:

Fantasy Football

Chili

Hunting

Children go back to school and stay off my lawn.

It gets dark before rush hour, so idiots too stupid to buy sunglasses or use the sun visor stop driving like their family tree doesn't fork.

But most important of all, people finally stop committing the most insufferable crime against humanity: wearing flip flops.  Seriously, I curse the scions of the house of the man or woman who invented flip flops.

I hope you win the day for this!

All that needed to be said was fall camping. Can't beat it.

If I lived in America maybe I'd agree but living where I do I can't stand being in the middle of the two.

I do prefer warmer weather although I sit in an office all day at work so whatever the weather is doing outside it doesn’t really affect me for the best part of the day. My garden looks prettier in summer too.

I don’t really mind any kind of weather apart from strong winds. I can take rain, snow or a heatwave any day but I really do hate the wind!

Fall and Winter is where it is at. Holidays = good food and time off work. That alone makes it the most wonderful time of the year.

I don't hate on Summer though, I do enjoy it but I hate bugs and I hate sweating. Spring has to be the worst season hands down... humid, wet, and bugs who don't know up from down or left from my mouth.

I don't live in Chicago

LOL, I've visited America a few times but I've only been to NYC and LA so I don't have an extensive feel or knowledge of the country. I'll probably explore more of the country at some point.

Both places are filled with hipsters and douche bags. Hope you don't judge us based on either. Visit different places like Texas and Maine.

I wasn't a big fan of NYC, I didn't mind LA but that may of been because I was plastered most of the time. I don't judge people or places based on my own experiences especially if my experience is so limited.

It helps to be drunk in LA. I have been there a few times and other parts of California. It isn't what it used to be that is for sure. It is funny because of the tourist destinations in America like LA, NYC, Miami... They all tend to be places that are cool to visit but not somewhere many would want to live.

Summer has good points for me. More time outside, more to do with people, and generally people are in better moods.

If I had to choose though, I would pick fall over summer any day. I just prefer the temps a bit colder, and as mentioned, WAY less bugs. I find them annoying, especially flies. Winter is too cold for me and spring tends to be too sticky, plus not much goes on other than holidays which my family ruins every year.
