  1. Or... Maybe you don't be a di*k, and try to lasso people?

  3. They are small, nearly insignificant but I miss these small items online. 1- bullets in the gun belt. I am sure this is probibly a rendering consideration, but in story mode it was really cool to actually see ammunition in your gun belt instead of being empty. I miss that here online. 2- bandolier. See number 1. Some of them looked quite bad, but others were actually well done. Added to the fact they were linked to progress unlocks was also very cool. Miss that denoting a player online who you can recognize has spent time unlocking, like the buckles. 3- hats with feathers. I was hopping for a way to distinguish hard core hunters. Miss that online.

  5. Tenti is right....... RDR2.org is a fan site and not an official forum of R*. You need to submit your feedback to the website they have established here: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=addb2b0b I might also suggest their Support site but given nature of the request, I think your best bet is with the site above.

  6. Hacking a game to cheat isn't comparable to killing people in RD O. R* made it easy to find and kill randoms. The made this beta public only. The made it auto aim in pvp to easily target players. They even made free roam missions that, for what ever reason. encourage pvp. And they also added objectives with rewards for killing players. Thats why i don't blame the players.. beyond being di*ks.

  7. I'm spreading this around to get the news out. From yesterday's R* newswire: Keep that feedback coming to the R* website. They are listening and have obviously heard the massive complaints about trolls. Let's hope the solution helps.

  8. I think many folks missed this in yesterday's R* Newswire but it look like good news for us. ......and bad news for griefers:

  10. Fallout 76s solution is kind of horrible. Someone has to attack you.. And then you have to attack back and then its on. Game needs invite only/friendly lobbies. Not hurdles and punishments.

  11. Well to be real about it. PVE isn't boring... PVE is for CO-OP players or players non interested in pvp. PVP would be for PVP players. Griefers are pvpers.. but not all Pvp players are griefers. I've heard other people make this claim before that pvp would be nothing but gangs of griefers. And in reality, it will mostly be gangs of griefers getting murdered by pvp players. And thats how it should be.

  12. I never got the revolver in single player, yet other's did. I'm wondering, though.. Is it another PS exclusive 30 day thingie on them?

  13. I'm still fishing, and after watching a YT video (can't remember who) I went to the woman who sells lures in the swamp. It's marked on the map. I bought a "Special Spinner" for 3 yes 3 gold bars. I had to swallow to buy that one! But now when I go fishing instead of getting 10 salmon and 1 muskie I can easily get 40-50 fish since this thing catches everything in the water! My income jumped up and I had over $700 today before spending some and was broke just a few days ago. Especially since everyone got more gold this is a great buy if you like to fish.

  15. I was googling and YouTubing about different unique items/easter eggs and came across this (long) video of somebody exploring the "Devil's Cabin" easter egg: It sounds like somewhere there are other people who have investigated this. I'm curious if there will be more developments uncovered (either still hidden or added later via DLC). Personally, I'm on my first playthrough (high honour) and am at the end of Chapter 2 - I saved Jimmy and I still have the pen he gives you. It seems so odd that you get a pen which is unique, I'm wondering if it fits into this somehow. Discuss

  18. Worked Novell though NT, DOS 2.2 to 6.2, I left all that and can sleep at night again. Even got to use FORTRAN to stop the world from ending in 1999. Geez we had to learn that tripe, thought Id never live to have to use it. I even had a VLD video card that handled either a whopping 4 MEGS of ram, or 16 MEGS of ram, but could not afford the 16. Flew my first space sim called Planetary Raiders in the new interwebs, sure miss our Wildcat BBS.

  19. You may need to save the outfit as a custom outfit. I equipped mine from the store, then changed a couple items and saved the custom outfit in my camp and have had it equipped when I wanted it without issues. Not sure if this will fix it for you but couldn't hurt to try.

  21. De-judder not only ruins your image quality. It introduces a HUGE input lag as well. I can only imagine what it means in a game that is not as responsive. I think if it's OK for you, I can't argue.

  22. I knew about the map glitch a few weeks ago, and I think it's only logical for R* to re-release the original using RDR2, but the randomness of the voice glitch seems suspicious. That glitch could easily be faked with editing. Trust me, I want to believe, but the voice glitch seems too random. We need to know what exactly triggers this.

  25. Exactly..... I have to wonder why some would even claim it's unfair to allow private / invite sessions. The only people it would be unfair to are those who are trolling as there would be fewer, vulnerable targets for them to take advantage of.

  26. So, this is the category I often fall into. I'm a working professional who puts in a lot of hours at work. I have kids and a wife who all have hobbies and commitments of their own that take time away from other things. While I have been an avid gamer for many years and have crushed many games with literally hundreds of hours grinding or campaigning to either advance or unlock new things, I simply do not have the time these days to make such a commitment to *any* game anymore. So for me, unless there is a micro-transaction option or some other means to mitigate some of that grind and commitment with any given game I generally avoid playing it. I do have friends in RDRO that have already far surpassed me in ranks simply because they have the time to grind them out. The micro-transactions provide me (theoretically) with at least the ability to "participate" with my friends even if only at a disadvantage for the lack of play time, ranks, and expertise. I do not support "Pay to Win" games but appreciate games that allow for a reasonable amount of "Pay to keep up" kind of model, for folks like me. Having said that, another great point that was brought up earlier is whether or not now is the time to invest real money into purchases for a game this early in development. For all the reasons discussed earlier, I am in agreement and do not plan to spend any real money on the game for some time, at least until I can reasonably know that the value of the investment is worth the cost.

  28. Oh shut up, im so sick of all this crying. R* the only company to not have a store open on launch day, we had 3 updates in 14 days. The biggest problem with rd2 is the player base, everone wants it easy, and complain when cheap exploits gets shut down. And no one hated on R* when they gave us all 250 and 20 gold.

  31. I think R* answered the original question with the recent nerfing of Fishing. Prior to the update fishing was the way to go. But we all know from GTAO updates that R* hates any solitary game play options online and will always force us to interact with the griefers and trolls. You can make more money hunting now, but you leave yourself open to the roaming hoards of 12 year old freeroam warriors.

  32. That glitch is interesting. It would seem they are indeed planning something there. I am hoping for it. Like I would love for them to add on to the single player with new stories every 3 or so months.

  33. In terms of cash relevant to easiness, reliability, risk of loss and time factors, I'd say fishing. It's simple, guaranteed, reasonably quick, and fish in satchel cannot be lost or stolen. The obvious other contender is bird/feather hunting. The two often work well together in some areas as the best money making combo in game. Shoot some birds, catch some fish.

  34. There is a Posse subforum where you can join or create your own group. Works pretty nicely. We've got about 30 in our particular PS4 group now. I've got 26 in my PSN Community I created as a result and a number that have sent friends requests. Great way to organize a pool of players to join up with.
