  1. Whilst I do not agree with the latest glitch of duplicating kills ( I hope R* will be rolling back the accounts of all involved in doing the duplication exploit ) I did like the fact we could go into passive mode. I enjoyed a few hours of no hassle hunting in tumbleweed with out a hole griefers attacking me in packs. Now it seems this way of entering passive mode has been patched much to the annoyance of many players. Some time`s we just want to hunt in peace if we want to run around shooting every one we go to showdown. Another thing is the last update to try and help combat griefers by making them a red dot on the map and a bounty for killing other players, Now where is the logic in doing this then adding kill other players in daily challenges...? This leads to non griefer players being punished for defending them self's against these griefers by receiving a bounty.. We need a choice of going into passive mode so we can just hunt in peace. Some times I don't want to have to check the map every 2 mins to see if some one is heading my way to grief me ( not that we can now after the last update ). And the parlay system is not a cure for this, Also the last update made hunting worse lower sell prices and longer spawn times if at all. R* really needs to address these issue as the way online is at the moment is not enjoyable for most. I don't want to have to grind away for hours to earn cash then lose my kills to some a hole pack of griefers. R* needs to listen to its fan base and not the how much they can squeeze out of players with pointless micro transaction. I love the whole concept of the game but the way it is at moment its not enjoyable its more frustrating than any thing.. Here's how I think it should be set up give players the option of passive mode with out limits. Add the kill players challenges to the showdown event only this will force griefers to have to do showdown if they want to clear all daily challenges.. sadly i will be shelving this game till these issues have been sorted out.

  2. They should change the color of the set waypoint marker (yellow maybe?) With the new bounty system, in some sessions I'm seeing a lot of red indicators in my hud.

  3. There is only one Free Roam at the moment and there isn't a specific posse session the game will place you in. While "Free Roam" inserts you into the game alone, "Posse Up" simply adds you to an open posse in a session. You are in a game with others that came in alone, as a "Posse Up" option, those who joined with friends, etc.

  4. Until Friday I think. (TD2 Release) Then it gets shelved until the beta is over I think or until they add different lobbies. And if they don't then the story was great and online isn't. That simple.

  6. Well I am glad this was sorted. They probably would have had too hard of a time taking back the items so that is understandable.

  7. If Rockstar had advertised Red Dead Online as a "pvp based game," I never would have purchased it. If that's an official description, exactly where did you see it? And why would Rockstar say they want to institute anti griefing methods? What I did see Rockstar advertise was "We also ask for your help in keeping Red Dead Online a fun and fair environment for everyone. Please use the in-game reporting tools to report any abusive behavior..." and "Create and customize your character, tailor your abilities to suit your play style and head out into a new frontier full of things to experience. Explore the world solo or with friends. "

  9. Hearing from multiple people that the money they earned from this glitch is now gone, but items they purchased remained. Only money earned on duped cougars was as taken, other money remained.

  10. I tried to do it Tuesday night after watching outlawclickbait videos on utube. I went into the tailor, came out, and found a dude took my cougar and skinned it while I was inside. His posse member then shoots me in the head. I guess it was a sign from the R* gods.

  11. Well I had the same thoughts as well, like even the mercy kill option for injured animals isn't online (I hate that it's not), And to be honest seems this game isn't a Beta per say, it's more of an Alpha where its bare minimum and are slowly adding in things and features.

  12. I would classify myself as #4. PVP is basically to break up the monotony of hunting/fishing, make a few $ quickly, and see how good or bad I am against peers, and nothing like the thrill of victory (or agony of defeat) First couple of months I just farmed...hunted/fish for $'s. Now depends on mood. As far as posse I don't want to join one yet. I was leader/officer at other games for 4+ years and it is time consuming and people management. I'm not anti social, Just want to see if I can make it on my own, play at my own pace and bail if they don't fix the bugs or start making it a P2W cash grab with super OP guns and stuff.

  14. Personally, I wish they would get rid of the yellow that the posse leader see when they set a waypoint. Often times routes wash out against the light tan on the map.

  15. Funny you should mention that... I’ve found myself once or twice setting a waypoint, than catching myself wandering towards a red blip instead by mistake while on my travels...
