No, we are playing the exact same game, and every once in a blue moon I get frustrated with the same things you do (but not even a fraction of the amount of times you do by the sound of things)... But we’ve all heard it before and not one of us can do anything about it... So when are you going to just let people get excited about something coming without ‘telling it like it is’ yet again?

Yeah, I've grown quite fond of my Kladruber, but she sure is a bit of a nervous nelly. I do like the way she feels though, with the max health and stamina, slightly clunky, but still quite fast when needed. I'll probably go back to her, but - partially because of this discussion - I decided to get a black Arabian last night. Still have to put him through his paces, but certainly doesn't seem more skittish than the Kladruber so far, and the agility is a plus. I do wish it was slightly bigger though. I do a lot of hunting, and the turkeys damn near drag through the grass...

... So... How 'bout that mystery voucher from the first Outlaw Pass? Any guesses what it could be? A free shack? A custom skin for the Navy revolver? a new fancy hat (or other article of clothing)? What type of horse(s) do you think we'll get this time around?

And here is where I tap out of this one... Because it’s no longer about the prospects of an exciting new Upcoming addition... Now it’s about ‘We need free aim lobbies’ and ‘explosive ammo and ability cards suck’... and I’m sure the ‘but it’s not as advertised’ and ‘people who kill me for any reason are big meanie-heads’ crowd will be showing up before long... Not that I mind a little off topic banter... but this particular direction has been beat to death and killed many threads in the past...

Look, I’m not disagreeing with you... I’m just begging you wait until next week when the ‘Moonshiners is broken’ or ‘I can’t run my still because griefing’ threads come out... Nothing against you or your point of view... but you are kind of being the guy that ruins christmas by telling all the kids Santa isn’t real... The cap and balls worked a little different from than the cartridge revolvers of the day. But they all had flaws. For example, colts had a partial **** notch that was supposed to keep the pin off the primer... but that thin metal notch didn’t always hold reliably. After some use, it didn’t hold at all. Kind of the reason why things like transfer bars exist today. C O C K.... come on board managers... update the bloody autocensors to allow common words around firearms already...

I have 2 reproduction cap and ball revolvers, 3rd Model Colt's Dragoon and a Colt 1861 Navy (mechanically almost identical to the 1851, but with the smoothed off lines and round barrel, like a slightly smaller 1860 Army) - both Uberti replicas. Both of them have nodules/raised bumps on the cylinders in between the caps, which are supposed to engage with a notch on the hammer, to lock the cylinder in place and prevent the hammer resting on a cap. However, all of the ones on the Navy and most on the Dragoon have worn so much that they don't work, and you can rotate the cylinder by hand. I think the trouble is that the cylinder is made of mild steel, and the bumps are only small, and get worn away easily when engaging with the hardened steel hammer. If I was carrying either of mine in a holster going about my day to day business, I would only load 5.

To be honest, the only beef that I have is that I just want all the bugs and disconnection issues with the game to be fixed, so that everyone can play the game and enjoy it, regardless of the platform that they choose to game on.

I'll let a lot of things slide unchallenged on here but this isn't the time for that kind of talk.

If you played with me, you'll notice that its not from a point of frustration. Its more from a point of just telling it how it is. This game could be so much better if R* tweaked the little things. I don't look at it from a 'once in a blue moon'. I look at it from the perspective of, it can happen, so it will happen, so someone should fix it. My frustration is with R* not doing their jobs and ignoring the player base. Simple little things that they could fix/balance out anytime they want with little effort that they completely ignore (Sometimes for months on end, and in terms of GTA for years) I mean, I love the last major update that added the roles. But when NPCS are no longer a threat and PVP turns into players acting like T1000's it diminishes the excitement, fun and any sort of challenge in terms of game play. R* has a habbit throwing more fuel into the fire instead of actually controlling the fire. NPCS too easy? Instead of balancing the game play R* will add more NPCS with more insane spawn mechanics. Its a backwards way of doing things.

Ah, maybe. That would be R* logic - make you spend a bundle of $$$ on something you don't really need, just to unlock something you do. As others have commented, though, once you have the big wagon, money worries largely become a thing of the past, so if you need to buy the medium wagon to get there, its a small price to pay - you won't miss that £500 in a couple of days.

Enough of a PITA for me to change provider... It's in the works. I have extremely limited options here - no fiber optic runs here 😭 I just moved here so friends are none existent, relatives are in the same boat or worst than me (if you can beleive that) and I'm on extended sick leave BUT, I reached out to the community AND the local community center invited me to go later today with my xbox, plug it on their TV, and use their wifi (they have fiber optic there). Happy dance & merry xmas 😂🙆

I meant that you could ask R* Support to see if it's even possible. I don't think they would provide that option but you never know. At least if you ask R*, you can get an answer.

Such a solid crafted gun. They don't make em like this anymore. I feel like it was once an art form that people prided themselves in.

Yep. You can see that it doesn't necessarily take a ton of force either. You can imagine a hand on the range being in several situations throughout their day where this might be a risk as they work. Just want to clarify something though..... He makes a point to show the firing pin on the hammer as a reason to leave a chamber empty which needs more explanation IMO. Their are modern day revolvers with firing pins like this but also have a firing pin block, rebound slide and/or other features that keep the pin from contacting the cartridge so you can safely load and carry the firearm with 6 in the cylinder. My S&W is like that. .....my single action Ruger Blackhawk on the other hand has a transfer bar (no pin on the hammer as it is in the frame).

Hey now, let's not let the whole world know!. Lol I'm noticing that many of you guy's love the blued steel. I have a thing for nickle plating. Here's what I'm thinking for the dual welded Lamat's. Nickel plating with pearl grips. Full engravings with black inlays. I love how they did the High Roller revolver. Then maybe I can do black hammers and triggers, actually I might just leave the hammers and triggers nickle plated.

That would probably be the best course. I know Sony offers firmware updates online for download to USB or other storage because my PS4 got stuck in a safe mode loop a couple weeks before Ghost Recon Wildlands released in 2017 and I had to reinstall the then-latest firmware to fix it. But I've never heard of game updates being released online, and I've especially never heard of them being offered on a physical disc.

You can use external storage devices to store and/or transfer files I use an ext SSD to play games from). You can even download and install PS4 system updates this way. No need to burn a disk. ......but yeah, I don't think R* offers a way to update the game on console using this method. OP, you could always contact R* Support and ask them just to make sure.

Whelp, I won't be getting that game. LOL I know you can do this stuff on computers, it is a no brainer but there are a lot of restrictions on consoles. I don't think they release this kind of stuff online to download anywhere either and even if they did, you would still have to download it and then burn it to a disc.

I don’t think it’s possible to download a patch and get it onto a usb stick and get that applied on another console. You’re probably stuck with having to download it by leaving your console on overnight.

Yeah, I stopped doing the Master Archer one. The fishing and animal kill events are usually fine. (The fishing events have combat disabled.) And I've not had many issues with idiots during the role specific events either.

No, the only ways would be to download it directly from Xbox Live or possibly onto a thumb drive from a computer. You think 14.4 gb is big? I bought the new CoD last week and had to download a 65 gb update, plus the 15 gb "Season 1" update that released a few days after that.
