  1. Hey partner ! First off i would like to ask You what platform are You playing ? Console or PC ? The auto aim mechanic differs when shooting NPC's and players - it has been changed due to player feedback some time ago. In short : When you lock on an NPC and target his head the aim will be locked on no matter the NPC's movement so it's way easier to Head shot them bcoz you wil not loose aim no matter how the NPC moves. With players when you auto aim and move aim a bit up to target the head you need to shoot fast bcoz the aim will not stay on the players head if he moves. The only thing you can do to keep aim is use PiB and lock on targets head. To be better at aiming the first thing you need to do is change the size of the reticule to minimum. Its too big in default and aiming at targets in distance is not accurate. It will seem to you that you are aiming at the players head but in fact you can aim at its neck. So first thing to do is change that reticule size if you havent done that already. Also the players that you wanted to head shot may use an ability card layout that prevents you to kill them even if you shoot them in the eye - Never Without One. It takes minimum 2 headshots to kill a players using this card and it can be enforced by other cards that will make a player even tougher to kill (tank build). Also some of the players use the tank build + Never without One + Special Tonic which will make your Health bar go above 100% and makes you very hard to kill - sometimes it takes multiple shots just to start making dmg to target. I really cant advice you more until i see how you play. Maybe consider making a movie and posting here. I would love to help more.

  2. I'm not much for posting articles about speculation, etc. but given the lack of news these past few months, I figured, what the hell. .....just take this all with a big grain of salt. https://www.google.com/amp/s/gamerant.com/red-dead-redemption-2-ps5-xbox-remake-online-update/amp/ Big Red Dead Redemption 2 News Could Explain Lack of Online Updates Red Dead Redemption Online players have been frustrated by the lack of updates, but the wait could hint at big Red Dead 2 news. BY ANTHONY TAORMINA 1 DAY AGO For a while now the Read Dead Redemption 2 community has maligned the lack of updates (both news and content) from developer Rockstar Games. It has been so long that many fans have begun making memes and jokes about the wait and whether Red Dead Redemption Online might ever get new content. But while there has not been anything official from Rockstar Games, rumors and leaks suggest there might be a reason for the lack of Red Dead Online updates. And if these rumors are true, the waiting might be worth it. Red Dead Remake While nothing is confirmed, the strongest rumor is that a Red Dead Redemption remake is in the works for current-gen (and potentially next-gen platforms). There has been speculation that RDR might eventually come to PC for a long time, but that never happened. However, now it seems Rockstar is ready to give the fans what they want. What makes this different than just a simple port or remake is that this will allegedly be added to Red Dead Redemption 2. The foundation for adding Red Dead 1 content into Red Dead 2 has been in the game since it launched, with players able to visit familiar landscapes from the prior game. When players first saw Mexico and a few other notable locations, the assumption was that they would eventually factor into Red Dead Online, but instead, they have gone relatively unused. A remake of Red Dead Redemption would be a massive undertaking for Rockstar Games and is potentially what is keeping the Red Dead Online team so busy. If it is real, then the remake could also make up for the lack of meaningful updates to the game. Red Dead 2 On PS5, Xbox Series X Another possibility for the lack of Red Dead Online updates is a potential next-gen port for Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar Games has already confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 is making the leap to PS5 and Xbox Series X when the consoles launch holiday 2020, any many are wondering if Red Dead Redemption 2 will get the same treatment. Granted, Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the best-selling and most popular video games of all time, and even though Red Dead 2 was well-received and sold well, it pales in comparison. Still, if Rockstar plans to keep supporting Red Dead Online through future updates (whenever they release), then it would make sense that the game moves onto PS5 and Xbox Series X as well. Like a hypothetical remake, next-gen ports would also occupy a lot of development time, as the studio tries to take advantage of the new consoles’ increased power. The hope is that these ports would be more than just the PC version running on new hardware, but even that would be an improvement for console. Gamers could find out relatively soon if next-gen ports of Red Dead Redemption 2 are in the works at the Xbox Series X event in July. Much like Rockstar chose to reveal GTA 5 at the PS5 gameplay event, it could share the wealth by debuting RDR 2 during the Xbox stream. Rockstar Games Could Announce Both It’s also possible that both projects are in the works and are keeping Rockstar Games busy. Next-gen ports seem like a given but whether or not the rumors about a remake are true is up for debate. There is evidence to support both sides, including a product listing for three different Rockstar games (GTA 5, RDR 2, and the remake). On the flip side, it’s also possible that Rockstar Games has simply dialed back its support for Red Dead Online. That would be the most disappointing outcome for fans and active players, but it wouldn’t be entirely unexpected. Red Dead Redemption 2 released almost two years ago and at some point, developers need to move onto new projects.

  3. No. As in complete all of the challenges up to 10. Gambler 10, Sharpshooter 10, etc. Do that and then the trapper should give you the fancy red suit. You don't need to go through the pain of killing thousands of three-star animals.

  4. Thanks so much for your advice here James, right I will definitely change my reticle size, it does make sense now you mention how the auto aim moves off their head, am I correct now that I therefore must actually paint their head and not just be able to get headshots from only going into dead eye? I just wonder because some people say Paint It Black cancels out all bloom but it doesn’t work that way for me, so do I actually have to paint their head first? I am on PlayStation 4 I will probably sound so stupid here but I’ll be honest, I made a new account so the only gun I have at the moment is the carbine repeater, could this be my problem? I know it is a starter weapon but that also confuses me too as in the weapon stats menu the carbine has the same as the popular Lancaster which is supposed to be superior? But the damage stats are the same You have definitely given me hope, I will try out your advice and I appreciate it so much, I understand Cronus Mods have made their way on to consoles now so you can never be sure if you are up against a cheater, but for how much I love this masterpiece game I would like to be somewhat decent at PVP in the future etc.

  5. The one you're missing is "The Legend of the East" - obtaining the outfit that you get as a reward for completing all of the trapper challenges.
