I don't think they would EVER give away that much in a trailer to the point of ruining the story. I would rather we get another 3 or 4 trailers than just one more featuring some gameplay. I want to see at least 2 more showcasing the story and the graphics, one for gameplay, and then one for online mode.

This also depends on how well they market DLC though. They can do a better job than GTA V if they really work for it. A lot of people are sick of play and toss games that only feel fresh for the first 6 months and dead by the end of the year.

Yeah trolls come in all packages, heck I have even been on servers with female trolls... A rare yet very annoying treat. As par the OP, I think RDR2 won't do as good long term because it isn't as popular or as "mainstream" for gamers. I am sure it will sell a lot and do well overall but I can't see it being on GTA V's level.

I like the idea of having to fight off waves of animals. That could be a lot of fun, specially with a group of friend. I don't know how far they can push that though given that there aren't that many animals that you could fight off in the south. I guess they can start small with snakes or something and work up.

I will be the one to say it... I don't want to see him at all. If he ends up being a big part of the story or even the ending of the story, I feel like it may ruin Arthur for me. I am still on the fence from what I had already seen with him. I felt like I could connect with John from the get go but not Arthur.

Given that he was a big part of RDR I expect to see him in some fashion. Some have said that they think he will be shown throughout the story working with Dutch like you said but I don't think that will be the case.

I think they will do it more often than they did in GTA V but not as often as every 2 weeks. Maybe every 2 months? I think it depends on what they offer out the gate and how active people are on what they offer. Maybe smaller things like gun upgrades and clothing will be done more often by not DLC mini game packs or anything like that.

This is a first. I never actually seen anyone worry about this before lol You'll be fine OP, if anything, it is a lot easier on console but you will be more frustrated because a mouse is more accurate than a joystick.

These gamers have always been around. Think about any time you have ever played an online game... Screaming 10-year-olds, immature 20 somethings.. They have always been here. They just now broadcast their immaturity and annoyances on the internet.

Same for me. I had to borrow my friends game since I sold mine already. I got the gun though so I am happy about that. I am assuming we will be able to use it online only but having the option for the campaign would be nice.

Here I am about 2 months later still feeling the same way only they hardly have given us any news on the game let alone the online portion. So annoying. I did read them mentioning having a period where online will not be available so there is that.

I have a feeling people will be complaining either way. I mentioned this on another forum and got my head bit off over it. Needless to say I am done with that place but still. It is just all talk and no matter what they decide to do with the weather in RDR2 be it the same as the first (based on location) or rolling through, someone somewhere till loose their shite over it. I am fine with either or myself. It will not make or break the game for me.

I'd be fine with it being more random in general. Not just the same day to night cycle with area dependent changes. I am not sure how they would change it but I wouldn't mind what was mentioned above. Storms, fog, heavy snow, ect.

Dutch was 53 when he died in 1911. If the game takes place 20 years before that, he would be 33. Looks older here to me. I would say he is about 38-40. Based on that it would mean it is no more than 15 years prior to RDR's 1911. That would be 1896 and he would be 38. For good measure I would say he is 40 here though so 1898 is my guess.

By the time this game comes out, it will have more awards than GTA V got just for trailers. Seriously though, looking forward to it. The feel of it just sends a chill down my spine. Not many games can do that.

I am not really fixed on any aspect, I just want to play it and experience it. I am sure it will have a GTA V online vibe to it at its core and that is fine. What I want to see is how it compares and how much they have improved online game play in 4 years.

I think this is just Xbox's way... Or rather Microsoft's way of undercutting Sony. This kind of stuff happens all the time. It won't be noticeably different at all to us.

The issue with this list as that these people could have become friends ya know, it doesn't mean they necessarily are tied in with RDR2. Social media speculation won't get us any closer to knowing who is in the game. Do I want John Marston to make an appearance... Well, YEAH, who doesn't!? But he is a voice actor and could be doing a voice for another character or maybe none at all.

It is now Monday, and there are still leftovers in my fridge. Really tempted to eat more pie but I don't want to live with regret... Pumpkin pie is not a kind pie to me but it tastes sooooo goooood!

Knowing Rockstar they will slowly leak it to us over the span of several months until we get to a point where we want to walk away from the game and the franchise all together and THEN they will release it....
