lmao Great videos! I completed a compilation video yesterday so I thought I'd post it here. Mainly crashes but a few glitches too. Mainly online play. Also a short one from a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy!

Both my wife and I have had between 5 and 8 treasure maps just pop up when we collect deliveries at the lockbox in our camp within the last ten days or so. I'm not even sure how or why they just pop up like that but they have been for us. However, when we clear out gang hideouts, we never seem to get them. Hopefully you get some more soon!

Actually, they were for my wife and I up until a couple of weeks ago. But I had no idea that the animals dropped in quality using the Fast Travel. Thanks for that information, looks like I'll be riding a lot more LOL

Not sure if this is really a bug or not, but the other day I was hunting in the Great Plains and saw three or four pronghorns. I immediately started galloping towards them with my gun aimed, and only two of them took off. One of them just stood there. I literally got off my horse and stood right beside it and it didn't even move LOL it just stood there like it was staring into space. So like any good cowboy, I took out my melee knife and took advantage of the situation and sliced it. Actually I think I have a video of it I may post it later, I thought it was pretty weird and funny at the same time!

The one issue I was having before, was shooting for instance, 3 animals and while I was skinning the first or second one the rest would disappear. Then I discovered the other day that most of the time just the paw prints on the mini map disappear not the actual carcass. On a brighter note, I'm not losing pelts and what not when I use fast travel or come out of a mission so that's good that they fixed that.

Yeah that would make sense, I thought it might be that. That will definitely give me a clear indication of where I'm heading in terms of saddles. Thank you!

Quick question... When I'm in the stable looking at the stats of a new saddle, some of the stats come up in red writing. I was just wondering what this means. I understand what the drain rates mean, but not clear on why some of would come up in red.

I linked my Google account on Saturday morning, and still have not received my gold bars. I guess I'll have to try it again, but I've already logged into my Social account a few times using it and still no gold.

I ran from Emerald Ranch to Valentine yesterday just to see what would happen lol I'm still putting foot prints and the cement LOL

Working awesome man... plugged it in and formatted it in less than 5 minutes. Had rdr2 installing at a normal time, not 36 hours LMAO had it hooked up and played all day in the same room as my wife so we could roll together LOL it might be me, but I think it may load the game faster than my new PS4 Slim.

Went and picked up a 1 terabyte hard drive at Best Buy today. In less than 5 minutes I had it hooked up installing Red Dead. Thanks again for your help!

Upon further research, it is confirmed that I definitely can store and play of the external hard drive. The user interface still comes up and everything operates fine, like I said, even Ratchet & Clank. I'll be picking up one of those today. They're reasonably priced at Best Buy. Thanks for your help

I couldn't even get past the matchmaking option... I would choose to enter matchmaking and that was as far as I could get. The one time I made it to select ready up, I was kicked ironically.

Is anybody else having problems loading the story missions online? One or two out of 10 will load for me if I'm lucky. All the other times, I get the loading wheel spinning for 5 or 6 minutes and I have to close the application.

Yeah man, classic Metallica is my favorite. I am a huge huge huge Cliff Burton fan. Was actually offered to go on tour as the drummer for a Metallica cover band back in the day. I've seen them five times, but only with Jason Newsted, never with Rob Trujillo.

Thank you for this information! I thought external drives were only for storing data and not for playing games. I guess that would be the way to go, as long as I can still play games off the external storage.... I just reinitialized the system and downloaded the latest firmware. It is saying that the data disc will take another 11 hours and all disc data will take 22 hours. Clearly if something is very wrong! Realistically, rdr2 the only game that will go on this console so I wouldn't need a big hard drive. Is it best to go with a SATA?

So, I have a PS4 that I believe needs a new hard drive. I had put an old laptop hard drive in it and it worked for four or five months but when I went to install rdr2, it said it would take around 29 hours, which we all know is wrong as it is a 90-minute install. Other games such as a Ratchet & Clank were installed and work perfectly fine. It is not an issue with the available storage space as it is a 1tb and Ratchet & Clank is the only game installed on it, and IIRC, possibly Grand Theft Auto V. I guess my question is, what is a compatible hard drive that I can purchase that will work?

I find that the amount of animals is fine for me, I don't really see much of a change in that. The problem I'm having is when I shoot two or three animals, I skin one, and the other two paw prints disappear. I submitted a ticket with Rockstar, and they closed the ticket without responding. I also see large birds flying slow, and once they get directly above me, they go out of sight, and don't come back into sight they just disappear.

Even as someone who Vapes, I absolutely hate it when I walk into a shop like that and you can't even see the cashier or the people working there because of the cloud. It's actually very annoying. And you are correct does drive away customers, including me. I usually don't go back

I Vape, but it's only a crutch to help me quit smoking. I know who you were talking about, I'm assuming it's not people who vape in general, but those who vape and feel the need to get the biggest cloud possible? Like I said, I use it as a crutch, it's not a competition to see who can have the biggest cloud. I heard that they actually have competitions for the biggest cloud, with people who build their own coils and stuff... In that aspect it certainly is ridiculous! I no longer cough and wheeze, I feel a million percent better and it's a lot cheaper.

Exactly, and sometimes it backfires... I've had a guy wave at me, and when I wave back, he pulls out a sawed-off or something and shoots me. Of course, that goes back to 99% of most of the Griefers are cowards and chickens. Degree few and leave the session. Hopefully after the update next week we won't have quite as much!

I love to hear these kinds of stories, because not every blip on the map is a griefer. Most of us avoid them because you just really never know, and you really can't really trust anybody. Hopefully more people will share stories like this. I have on occasion run in to very friendly players who will give you a hand, or simply wave to show they are friendly.
