I’m not sure about the details, but I agree with your point about revenue...if R*’s bottom line doesn’t increase and the game continues to undersell to older games like GTA V, I could see them abandoning it by summer 2020. It really depends on the sales vs the budget to make the game and the initial timeline R* execs set to make the money back. They probably have set decision points scheduled in order to review sales and determine if the “juice is worth the squeeze.” Or maybe not? I may be totally wrong on how their company works.

Most definitely. I can listen to the stuff with Jason, and tolerate the newer stuff, but IMO there is a distinct difference.

Same here, in my experience it seems to be less than when online started.

I think people going out of their way to attack someone who is clearly minding their own business is a little immature, but still within the parameters of the game... It used to bother me more, but now that I am ranked a little higher and am a little better shooting-wise, I usually have the situational awareness to “handle” the issue before they get at me.

UPDATE Solution - exit game, go back in but select free roam in a different area... not sure why I didn’t try that before.

So since last night, I can’t get my horse to come by whistle, and when I go to a stable to get it, my game gets stuck when trying to exit on the screen where the stable manager signs his clip board...anyone else seen this or know a work around? In order to get out of the glitch I have to exit the game entirely.

I’ve seen a lot of 10 and below ranks getting feisty as of late as well.

Same here, tried all the game modes, plus being in a Posse, plus the story missions and killing NPCs... no extra XP for me. Not gonna lie, I was a little bummed.

Truth. Also, by 1899, the West was not that wild anymore. You had outlaws, but they did not typically attack and kill randoms, they robbed banks and trains. Of course they were also dealt with swiftly and mercilessly by law enforcement to the point they were on the run forever or fled the country.

I’m originally from Chicago, so I used to think I’m good with being too cold or too hot. Then I went to Iraq one summer. 130 degrees. So I hear you about being cold rather than hot. BUT...then I spent a winter in the mountains in Afghanistan. I have never been so cold in my life. So now I pick hot over cold any day.

To my knowledge, the Discord app cannot be used in game on the console the same way you can use it on a PC. You have to use it on your phone or equivalent in combination with your console. Did this change? It would be awesome to be able to run it through console simultaneously like on the PC.

Since when can you have more than one toon simultaneously? Is that a new option?

While I agree with your philosophy that abusive chat can be tolerated and can easily ignored, I disagree that any individual should have to tolerate abusive chat in a public space. Unfortunately, outside of reporting the abuse, I am not sure what anyone can do about except change servers or get over it.

Besides reviewing multiple news sources and information from “trusted” sources, it is good to do some research on your own regarding how the government (state and federal) and military work as well as the connections and short and long term goals of other countries and leaders/individuals involved in policy (foreifn and domestic) and ripple effects the various choices can make. The major news networks (regardless of political affiliation) only skim the surface of the topics in order to get an emotional reaction in their favor from the viewer.

SOF (Special Operations Forces) personnel are not required to identify themselves to anyone outside the military. However, getting into a physical altercation outside of the realm of acting in self-defense could potentially get that individual in UCMJ trouble, especially if law enforcement gets involved.
