When I’m bored, I tend to find the busiest town, walk around doing the ‘shoot em up’ emote until someone shoots me. Or if I’m lucky and find people hanging out in a saloon I’ll continually do the ‘prospector jig’ until I’m punched, shot, stabbed etc... I’d be much less likely to be bored if the rest of the world wasn’t full of mutes.

... then mute the one or two kids... my mic is on constantly and I rarely hear this in free roam (PvP modes are a different story)

For those that are complaining about what the update contains... in all fairness rockstar did let us know exactly what to expect for the trickledown weeks ago. I wouldn’t expect any groundbreaking surprises. We have next big update to look forward to for some mission and free roam updates... at least I hope.

Why shouldn’t one special ability counter a different special ability? I think more should work like that... maybe a ‘right through the eye’ can counter ‘never without one’....

I did. I danced in a saloon for about 15 minutes before some guy blew my head off with his sawnoffs... seriously though, it’s an online game with built in voice functionality. I hate how 95% or more don’t use it. Even when you try to initiate dialogue. It’s a personal gripe of mine when it comes to the other players... hell, even having my head taken off with a double barrel for no apparent reason would be easier to handle if the shooter followed up with ‘sorry. Daily challenge’

They probably did think that of your brother... mainly because no one communicates with each other in this game. Buy a cheap ear bud, plug it into your control and talk.. the most frustrating thing is the whole damn world is full of mutes who don’t talk or interact unless it’s waving or shooting (and sometimes waving then shooting).

I was doing the strawberry loop the other day, heading back after the sun set... there was a huge line of wagons on the road heading into town, not moving. I went up along them and found wagon going the other way, out of town with another huge lineup following. It seems the first two wagons couldn’t pass each other, then other wagons began pilling up behind them. It was kind of funny though.

I believe they’re adding an update to the character generator in the next title update (could have sworn I saw that in the article). Perhaps just wait and you might get a chance at a freebie redo...

Yeah. As well as cleaning the gun, ensure that your fully aimed at the bird. With the new update, the varmit rifle is much slower or the little circle to shrink down. Also, range has been reduced. As for deer etc... i hunt as close as I can with a bolt action and regular bullets. If it’s a 3 star buck and I’m not confident I’ll land the one shot kill, I ride up fast with the lasso.

I think this might be it... when I was chugging beans I was definitely pounding them back one after the other to get the easy challenge done. Perhaps it won’t register a check in the box since the system is still processing the first or something

I haven’t noticed the change. But then again, I always saw it as a waste of time to carry more than one big carcass or skin around. I’ll occasionally lasso and drag the whole carcass if I got two high value critters I just can’t pass up... but that’s just me and my style

1) level 25 2) I’ve been playing online since just before the new year, not every day... 3) No strategy at all. I’m just existing in the RDR2 world and doing things as I feel like doing them. 4) a typical session? I usually start by hunting, especially if I’m low on either funds or meat. I then cook meat and/or visit a butcher. I browse the catalogue and stock up on odds and ends I may be low on (ammo, oat cakes for Red Liquor, gun oil etc..). I’ll then either wander around from stranger mission to stranger mission, killing all the critters in my path and clearing hideouts, or I’ll spend the rest of the session getting my ass kicked in showdown or races. Sometimes I go fishing instead.

Just so you know, I wasn’t trying to be a smart ass... though now I re read it it does sort of sound that way. It was a legitimate question to ponder... however I did notice with the eat canned food challenge some time back I had to eat way more beans than it called for.

Did you eat some of them instead of pick?

I doubt the game is out of date. I know I can’t log onto online mode when the last update needs downloading.

I don’t think it’s a bug persay. I believe it has something to do with only rendering objects within certain range of an active player. Imagine how bogged down things would get if a whole lobby left dead animals and carcasses laying around all over the map? I agree it’s a pain at times. Perhaps it could be expanded a little. But it’s something I’m willing to accept as a limitation in a world so open and load screen free. as mentioned, a good rule of thumb is try to keep dead animals inside your mini map circle. I know it’s tempting to run down that last critter, but if your going to loose the other 4 it just isn’t worth it.

Yeah... I’ve been free roaming constantly since fishing started. I’m hoping one of these times it pops up for me. I was looking forward to trying it.

The first horse I got after the starter horse is the red Arabian. I named him Red Liquor. He’s been good to me for the most part, but he lives up to his name. I occasionally get run into obstacles that should be out of the way and end up getting launched and landing in a big pile with my horse on top. But nerves of steel in a gunfight and I rarely get thrown during a predator attack. Other than the odd drunken swerve off the road and into a tree, fence or boulder, I have no complaints or desire to upgrade.

Yeah. Just move the dot over something shootable with deadeye one, it’ll mark it with a black x... I believe you can even paint slippery bastards... make sure paint it black is activated in your ability card loadout.

From my understanding, it’s part of the cycle of free roam challenges... which means your odds of getting it to pop up are about as good as archery challenge, or fools gold, or any of the others... I cold be wrong and maybe it’s a one day thing they did...

I did that. Received both my gold bars and GTA cash

yeah, content creator will definitely come down... that being said, I found abot 95% of GTAs user created content was garbage. It’s one thing to whip something together, it’s another to make something well thought out and good.

Yeah, just ignore them. Rockstar isn’t stupid, they likely won’t even contact you...

It’ll likely be introduced in the next big title update if they’re announcing it now. There will be a big list of all the stuff they’re adding, we’ll all get excited over the new game modes and missions, then we’ll get a few things with ‘more to come’....
