  1. The first one is an odd encounter because you ultimately lose more than you gain when intervening no matter what happens. The bit of honor gained from helping the thief is immediately canceled out by acting in opposition to the lawman, which also ends up netting you a bounty. Same thing applies to the similar encounter of two lawmen transporting a prisoner in a wagon. Best to just mind your own business and let the situation play out. For the second one, you can save the lady, but you have to be really quick about it. And it's easy to accidentally aim your gun at one of the victims in the heat of the moment and scare them away, thereby losing any honor you gained from it and possible getting a bounty. As for putting them up on YouTube, I don't do anything like that. Not interested in risking getting hit with copyright infringement again. That happened once already when I accidentally clicked a link on a pop up when trying to close it that sent me to a pirated download of Atomic Blonde (that I immediately canceled when it started DLing), which was logged by my Internet provider who reported it to the studio that owns the movie, who in turn sent ****ing cops to my house over it.
  2. I don't know about Xbox controllers, but on PlayStation controllers the analogue sticks are almost always the first thing to go start messing up. I've been through about 10 controllers between PS3 and PS4 and all but one of them had to be replaced because the analogue sticks stopped working right.
  3. Arthur got TB or you got TB? I'm confused here.
  4. Not bad, but since you can't do dialogue in these things, a short description of what the story being told here is might help put it in context for us. Also, where is the corpse at 2:26 located in the game?
  5. Seen a few of his videos. He uploads too much clickbait stuff for my tastes. "I reached Bigfoot's cave and this happened!" Then you watch the video and absolutely nothing happens.
  6. Could always be worse. The snow could be yellow instead of white. 😓
  7. It's there, just so well camouflaged that you can't see it. 🤣
  8. Much like some small birds and animals, you have to "break down" fish inside your satchel to get their meat. A good place to catch Bluegill is the beach southeast of Riggs Station, down by where the Upper Montana River flows into Flat Iron Lake. I've caught more there than anywhere else.
  9. There is a rustling mission with Uncle there. You steal some cattle from a nearby farm and sell them to the same guys you can fence stolen horses through.
  10. I misunderstood that part, my bad. I've been back to the manor more than a few times since its destruction, but haven't found anything besides the broach. Where is it?
  11. I found the letter, but I doubt there's any actual Braithwaite gold to be found unless you count the broach taken from Catherine Braithwaite's corpse. Bayou Nwa is the name of the area between Saint Denis and Bluewater Marsh.
  12. I just spent everything I had as Arthur on saddles I liked, clothing, and other stuff that would carry over to John just before starting Arthur's last mission, so it wasn't as if it was all just totally lost. Granted, this was my second playthrough where I knew what was going to happen. The first time, I lost around 3K when Arthur died. Ultimately, it isn't that difficult to regain what you lost. When you know their locations, raiding gang hideouts and camps can net you a lot of loot pretty quick (I had accumulated about $1,400 after a few hours). Then there are the treasure hunts that will net you upwards of $5,000 altogether if you left them all for John. There's also a couple of gold bars worth $500 each that can be found inside a wrecked train car below one of the rail bridges in Ambarino (I forget which one exactly). And this isn't even counting the Blackwater money that you get at the end of American Venom.
  13. Yeah, that's the end of Miller's mission strand.
  14. Has this actually been confirmed or is it just a rumor?
  15. John can find a letter in Manzanita Post that's written in Norwegian, but can't seem to read it. I would think if it were a mistake by the devs, both would be readable or not readable. The location is to the east and slightly north of Armadillo, next to the border with Hennigan's Stead. Should be pretty easy to find as the corpse is marked on the map with an X.
  16. Considering RDR2 took almost a decade to come to fruition following RDR, I think 22/23 is an unlikely time frame for RDR3. If anything, the next GTA is on their radar right now.
  17. Seems kind of an odd thing to exclude for DLC. In fact, sounds like something Ubisoft would do... As much as I want another Undead Nightmare (I'm a zombie genre fanatic, after all), I doubt it will happen. GTA Online's success resulted in GTA V's Story Mode being abandoned even after they'd announced a Story Mode DLC. Since RD Online is almost guaranteed to duplicate GTA Online's success, I don't see Rockstar doing much if any post-launch Story content at all.
  18. To answer the OP's question for sure, there's no section in the compendium for hats.
  19. Another thing to keep in mind is that this mission strand has a third part that's unmarked on the map. Go back to Marko's lab after a few in-game days to initiate it.
  20. No, I don't think so. I'll have to check to be sure. No notification comes up (e.g., press button x to go to compendium) when you get them and I've gotten quite a few. On a side note, I love how the gang reacts to some of the more amusing ones. I was walking around camp with the morion on one day when Bill walked up to me and asked, "What the hell are you dressed up as?"
  21. To be fair, I think one would have to be an absolute idiot to keep their jacket on in warm weather long enough to get heat stroke from it and New Austin, the hottest area in the game, only gets to around 80 degrees at most. People don't typically start suffering from heat stroke until it gets into triple digits.
  22. I went to get the Chinese skullcap near Armadillo and the corpse there had a letter on him. John can read it, yet it's written in Chinese.
  23. I'm getting close to finishing up my second playthrough myself. I saw the first difference on YouTube rather than for myself, but the second one I noticed myself while playing because I did the John mission before the Rains Fall mission this time. Anyway, I bought a guide for the game today and it doesn't mention anything about The Mercies of Knowledge being exclusive to Arthur. Hopefully it's a bug and Rockstar patches it at some point.
  24. One beard to rule them all! I prefer to keep facial hair at a 4. Perfect balance of natural ruggedness and social acceptability. Except for missions for Mary, I dressed up nice and clean shaven for those.
  25. Ultimately, maybe it's just me, I don't know. But I've calmed my Arabian down from agitated, only to ride 30 feet without so much as a scent of a predatory animal in the area and have it start panicking again. But it's all subjective in the end and each one of us has a specific horse(s) we prefer for our own reasons. Personally, I'm partial to Rachel (I've heard speculation that she was named for Marston's deceased daughter, but IDK) and the Missouri Fox Trotter (or whatever it's called exactly) that I lovingly named Arthur. 😄
