Reason I'm suggesting unblinking eye to original poster because they are stating they are lvl 20 and dead eye drains in seconds regardless of the dead eye card they are using. They could build that up tier 3 to compensate for the quick drain for lower rank until they reach a higher level. Tonics and eating meats that give gold dead eye core will help too. I've pretty much completed a majority of the cards to tier 3 and find I don't need tonics anymore. As you get to higher ranks I just Hunt and eat some meat and Indian tobacco and my dead eye is almost always full.

Funny as heck. Yeah I was going to do a post about that lady surrounded by the alligator mission. It's bugged out and that 5th and 6th alligator are like the terminators. I hit that thing 3-5 times in the head with shotgun slugs and still doesn't die. Springfield seems to work better. The other night I came up to it and it said posse abandoned mission (what posse is my question) and she ran off into the swamp with a latern. Alligator then jumped out and ate me anyway. The only bait bug I Know about is that sometimes when I join a fishing challenge and R* gives you 3 pieces of bait it overwrites the bait I have and leaves me with 3. Personally I encourage others to check for this bug and contact R* just so they don't think I'm crazy. Although I proved it to them with video and screenshots. This is just a double check but going to assume you picked your bait up from camp or the post office. If you have and still don't work I would contact support with video or screenshot. Personally I would just forget the live bait. Special spinner catches everything. Lake, swamp and river lures are $20 and pay for themselves in no time and catch only the $2+ big fish. Special lures kinda of a waste in RDO without legandary fish.

I think that R* does that at first to get you to use those magic potions and/or it was possibly a bug. I know when I was lower level it drained quickly. Honestly I've never really used dead eye for shooting, just moment to recuperate, and just grind it out to survive without it, but that's me. As a possible suggestion I would build up the blue/defensive card... 3) The Unblinking Eye Dead Eye and Eagle Eye drain slower. (Unlocks at RANK 26)

To the OP. If you shoot at another player (not an NPC) and hit them while in defensive mode your hostility would increase slightly and it's supposed to (or at first used to) knock you into Offensive mode. It generally lasts for about 5 minutes or less. Does it knock you into Offensive mode most of the time, no. So if it becomes a back and forth slugfest, with no one parlaying, you can spend 45 minutes trading blows back and your hostility will increase steadily but will still go back to low in about 10 minutes if you have high honor. I never tried or have any interest in griefing anyone so I don't know how long it would take to get to High hostility. What R* eliminated was the Bounty/tax for self defense. You will always get a hostility increase offensive or defensive mode for shooting another player, self defense or not

Yeah I've had a lot of Same problems last few weeks (except the wardrobe issues) Game is extra glitchy as all heck. Disconnect on ammo change, Not being able to skin stuff and sell stuff has been the biggest bug for me (works after standing their for few minutes). I got long list I won't even list. As far as the stable and lockbox not working changing servers usually works for me. If not I suggest opening ticket and using the chat option vs email. Sometimes you get a live somewhat intelligible expert. After I talk my way to tier 3 and send them video, stuff usually works well for few days. Will agree game is a fustrating mess at times

Personally I would kill their horse. Best $4 you can spend.

This is a short rant (but I do hope and believe R* reads this forum and Reddit) Another lame week of drip fed content… I can't believe I have nights like I did last night…. Without getting into too big of a rant... join PVP for the daily challenge, get public enemy, totally dominate, had a score almost as big as the other team, about to accept that MVP. Game crashes. No $, no XP, not counted... Just spiraled into a bug filled mess from their. Jump to train wouldn't work in railroad Baron, Couldn't skin grizzly, hideouts paying $2. Get to town butcher and post office telling me to get lost and that they don't like my type after I gave an escort for a whole $2 (didn't kill anyone) The dang hide I threw away was worth more than the ride. To heck with the clothes I just want a game that isn't a frustrating bug filled mess. I play for fun but trying to sort through endless bugs is just killing my patience.

As title says, can't log in to game or PS network.

In the Last week or so I too have run into a couple of 2 man posses who try to pick on Solo players and the usual back of the head or bait you into a fight players. It's just getting old fast...do I switch servers or press charges no. most of the time they're just crappy players and I kick their butt or they run away. Rare occasion I lose or it comes to a worthless draw with blows being traded back and forth. At that point I'll parley or I just bail out for a free roam/PVP. If I do lose I like to watch the video see what I could have done differently. Bottom line is I don't let it bother me... Will R* ever stop griefing the answer is no because it's just a bully mentality and most of them probably have their own shortcomings they're trying to compensate for. When I was a teen, college and mid twenties I was out enjoying life. F playing video games on a Weekend. Now I'm older and wish I was out at a party or club... longer for those Glory days. F the Cheeto eating losers, getting all excited on mic because you can walk up behind someone and shoot them in the head. Does R* encourage griefing, I believe so. As someone else mentioned why do you spawn in offensive mode and get disabled instantly during Wild Animal hunts. Plus when I feud with a lower level guy all of sudden my guns are super dirty, and none of my cards work (ie. Slippery bastard, paint it Black, moment to recuperate). Minute feud is over my guns go back to full clean. I believe they try to level the playing field, and screw around with stuff to make you keep grinding to get stronger and eventually buy that gold. What really gives me grief... I spent 3 stinking hours looking for elk last night, get to town and I can't buy or sell anything..., processing, processing, processing. Processing hanging for ever. Then some dude hits me in the back of the head with explosives. (Needless to say I torched him and the whole town) Did he give me grief not really... it's the damn bugs in this game that left me out in the open. My guns need gallons of oil daily and I still can't pitch a tent for more than a few hours (well that sounds like a personal problem) Between bugs and being drip fed content, griefers are just an annoyance in my book.

Well if it's any consolation to anyone I too wonder sometimes why I play this game, I must be a glutton for punishment. I am unable to set up camp (on PS4) and when I do I get it to work I get as pictured... Someone else's camp is the same location and Cripps is floating in the air (again) Plus I jumped into the coop near Rhodes and killed a chicken (I thought it was a rooster) and got charged with Animal Cruelty (I also got charged with Animal Cruelty while fishing and killing birds for hours and a whole $.15 bounty). Game is a buggy mess since Tuesday Earlier this week I contacted R* CS and get told they want video of my many bugs...I send them some of the desired Screenshots and video.... After several days and Tier 3 support I get told that they are working on Patch and Hot Fixes and to clean the cache... Cleaning the cache and simply changing servers seems to work the best.

If you upgrade saddles you have to buy a new saddle bag. Ie. if your using the Free saddle they gave PS members their is a catch...you got to buy matching saddle bag buying a matching saddle bag for each saddle I own resolved my issue with outfits Otherwise it's one of many bugs

I think your on Xbox, I'm on PS4 so probably different guy, same crackhead/juvenile mentality though. I usually do same if someone else is their I just leave, if someone helps I'll split evenly especially if I see their a lower level guy. It's not hard to earn money in this game, 5 seconds later I bagged 2 bucks and logged off, didn't even care about the skins. (Never found an escort mission that registered for the daily challenge though, that is where the gold is) Just meat and the horns is days upkeep and just about the $4 you make, b4 loot. I know it's just a game but not sharing and killing the travelers(who you can't loot) ...I just don't get it. I just think peeps want to jump in and try to steal the loot scraps without helping, they deserve to be shot. I don't care about the bounty or if they press charges. This is a whole nother subject but game needs more co-op missions.

Yeah I was going to add it's most likely not every 30 perfect corpse collected, it's random or based on some other trigger. I've gotten back to back maps Here is my funny story about people going nuts looting bodies for couple of pennies... late last night I was looking for an escort mission that actually counted towards daily challenge and found travelers under attack. I'm killing all the enemies and some player shows up and kills one and proceeds to start looting the bodies like a maniac while I'm doing all the work. He then executed the travelers.... My response was to give him what he deserved ...a participation trophy. Wish he came back for seconds. Ran to the hills

IDK. This game is filled with bugs but only thing I can think of is... Is your hostility too low or too high? Try loading from the main menu ... Land of opportunities? Or try loading from the player progress menu? I can replay it from player menu ...I think I got the bonus 10 gold

Yeah most of the time you will spend more in ammo than you get back. So the ROI is pretty slim I have gotten a few $'s on these new missions...escort ambush, etc., $4 if you are with someone else $8 if Solo Occasionally they throw you a treasure map. (Ok more like rarely) It's mostly XP but I think if you make sure to clear every dead body it's usually the last one who gives up the map

IDK. Jury still out...I wound up buying the black Arabian and at first glance she seems a heck of a lot calmer than all my other free PS4 male horses. She did not run away during wolf attack, haven't been down to gators yet but she is pretty rock solid. Personally I think R* nerfed the free horses to get me to buy a new horse and I don't have a scientific way to compare it to the black Arabian male. Only thing I can say with 100% confidence is this game is a spaghetti Western. The code is a bunch of spaghetti twisted together on a fork... On the plus side I'm not staring at a big old sack of nuts all night anymore

This is one of those nights I write little note to R* reminding them I could be playing another game and other games are coming. Marvel ultimate alliance 3, avengers, COD, modern warfare revamp. I'm livid tonight feel sorry for the support rep who gets my ticket. This is my pre ticket vent.... 1. Yeah I got camp bug too for week now.. Can't spawn one and when I do it lasts a few hours before I got to pay for another one. Cripps can't sit still 2. Every time I join a fishing challenge they give me 3 pieces of crickets, worms or crayfish and it completely overwrites the 20 I had b4 I joined. Not to mention I don't catch fish and lvl 10 guy catching 180 lbs. Maybe I stink really bad or it's Rigged if you ask me. 3. Then I join a Free room for fools gold and none of my kills counted. I watch the people die and got 0 points. 4. And to top of the night, Crashes when I got 5 perfect deer pelts. Sorry for the vent.

Yeah I think I'm pretty set out on trying a female horse... best thing to do is to just try see what happens and game is as realistic as R* bills it to be. I got a boatload of $'s and 3 free horse from PlayStation. Their all males and only use the red Chestnut anyway. R* is nuts if they think I'm buying a 4th stable for$500 though...one is going to the glue factory. Now I got to decide between another Arabian, Missouri fox Trotter or Turkoman I'm not looking for speed just something that has high stanima and health and a lot less skittish Black Arabian has best stats in my book but really want the white (whole pale horse of death thing) I'm big subscriber of the fight club mentality... “You wanna make an omelet, you gotta break some eggs.”. Worst case scenario I'll be grinding for some $'s I'll post my thoughts after some time just to hopefully help someone else out

Yeah I get it now, best of luck on that. I've been through many HDD crashes in my time and know that feeling. I still think online portion should be saved to the server with your Xbox account so hopefully you should be okay. I ran a couple of leagues at other games and ussually people got their stuff back.

So I know nothing about horses in real life, except for Google information. I see one video on the YouTube about this subject and don't see this question has ever been asked. What translates into RDO from your experience with horses and the bottom line of Male vs female? Apparently a mare is supposed to be calmer horse and a Stallion is supposed to be a little more wild, agressive Should also mention that I play as a female character, read Stallions might be tougher on women. I am assuming that R* is not offering geldings (since the males seem to have the proper junk in all the right places) I don't know was thinking about investing in a a new horse but what is the advantage of a male or female horse? Right now I have all males and their all kinda of skittish

Yeah ps4 is a 150mb so I don't know about a 90gb update on Xbox Usually the database on these games are server based but I can't honestly answer that question . I would wait for R* support.
