  1. Your eloquence and grace are an inspiration. I hope my sons grow up to be as beautifully articulate and intelligent.
  2. Can you imagine the trainwreck that RDR2 Online is going to be if they allow Cinema mode?
  3. I'm much more crude in my killing. I find a long, narrow hallway, like the back of the saloon in Valentine. When I get bored I blow the head off of Frontier Jack (or whatever that blowhard's name is), and then retreat behind the barber stand with my back against the door. As they come in, they get funneled to the hallway and I unload with my dual scholfields. I'll take a picture of the corpse wall next time--I was too caught up in the moment when it was happening last night at 3AM
  4. I mean, at that point, all I plan on doing is waiting for RDR2 Online to go live. Sure, I'll finish the main story, but right now, I'm just wandering around, and having a grand ol' time just taking in all the little hints and details that they put into the game. It's the most immersive thing I've ever played, and the fact that it has been able to suck me in without any sort of online component thus far is a testament to the work and effort R* put into this game. It's a complex, BEAUTIFUL masterpiece, one that I expect will continue to pay dividends for a long, long time.
  5. When I get there I'll let you know. @Benjo will shake his head when I reveal that I'm STILL in Chapter II.
  6. Selling both Legendary and Perfect pelts to the Trapper unlocks the recipes for the clothing: you do not need to hold onto perfect pelts in your inventory. I knew this was true for Legendary pelts, but it holds true for perfect pelts as well. There are also a TON of side businesses to rob without incurring Honor penalties OR bounties. You just have to keep a look out for "irregularities" in buildings that indicate hidden or inaccessible rooms.
  7. Or Blizzard for that matter. Because the world was clamoring for a Diablo mobile game....
  8. Thanks for reminding me how much I hate Micah. ✊ Manly tears that were bourne of the frustration of the idiocy of others, I'm certain. Make sure the shovel is sturdy and you have a back brace.
  9. You're waaaaaaay too sophisticated for my tastes. When online hits, I'll be waiting for overalls and straw hats with baited breath. Moonshine runner or bust. Speaking of moonshine:
  10. You're anthropomorphising the game's mechanics. Plenty of people seem to be able to do it just fine. Perhaps a new or different approach to hunting is needed? More finesse, less traipsing around on horseback? I've never had this problem personally, but I always hitch my horse to a tree when hunting, and the only time I encounter bounty Hunter is when I start a fight intentionally. I can successfully Rob and only get $1.50 bounty. You know what the easy part is? I want to thank you for reminding me, once again,
  11. Not sure. I he doesn't bother anyone in Valentine when I play. Because I shot him in the face. With a shotgun, no now he's just shoulders and a stump.
  12. Not as scary as Mrs. Creed in the morning before she gets her coffee.
  13. I must have been lucky. Just did this last night and only had a $110 bounty. I wore my executioner hood, and used deadeye liberally. I was more pissed about the hit to my honor. Really do not like Micah. I wish I could have put a bullet in him instead.
  14. It locks if you are on an active mission. Save BEFORE you talk to someone to start a mission, not during the mission.
  15. It's inefficient from a cost-benefit perspective. You need to feed and invest time with that horse before selling it, when its quicker and easier to steal from folks or murder encampments of O'Driscolls. They're usually good for anywhere from $15-$50 in loot to the fence if you clean them out each time--all for 2 minutes of work.
  16. To be fair, if he hasn't opened the game yet, he can still return it (as he indicated it's a physical disc, as opposed to a download). In the event the issues with his ISP persist, why open the game and "test" it if he's going to immediately lose the opportunity for a full refund if it doesn't work? THAT'S why the question is asked. If he already opened the game, then you are 100% correct--he's past the point of no return and should just let it play out.
  17. So... you came to a forum for the game? It's laughable that they can grade an incomplete game when the online mode hasn't even been released. Are they only grading the story mode? Fine, but the game is riddled with bugs and errors. I can't tell you how many times I've had to shoot someone or choke them to death in a fistfight after ten minutes of beating the crap out of them because they won't go down.
  18. I'd be willing to bet it comes back in RDR2 Online, with the caveat that only actual people can play, not npcs
  19. Can't say that I have. Nor do I expect to be, considering it's the Old West and not the Serengeti.
  20. always pay extra for the "assistance". Arthur gets pretty lonely out there on the prairie...
  21. I had someone being attacked by a Mountain Lion. I used deadeye to kill them both.
