I have basically been avoiding everything where RDR2 could be spoiled for the last few days. I know some people do receive the game a day or two earlier, like YouTubers and Twitch streamers but general players... I am not sure how that can happen.

I have seen a few different vids like this. It is cool to look back. The game was amazing. Here is to hoping this one is just as groundbreaking. I am sure it will be though. Given what we have seen and already know, it will be in my top 5 for sure.

Not sure if there was a thread for this or not. The game will be getting released at midnight tonight for me. I know for some people, the time will vary. Anywho, what are you guys doing for the last few hours before the game comes out? I just got home from work not too long ago so I intend on sleeping after I eat dinner so I can stay up all night playing. Not sure how active I will be on here at that point. I will likely be glued to my controller. lol

Ironically enough, I just had some eggs. I make mine scrabbled in olive oil with a bit of cheese and some onions. Add in some pepper and salt, and I am golden. I don't need nothing extra on them. I would have liked to add in some ham but alas... None in the fridge

Don't really know who the dude is. I have heard of his name. No idea he died. Seemed like people were far more upset over Burt Reynolds' death. I didn't see anyone talking about Mac's. Shame though.

It would end up being more stupid given the setting of the game. I don't know what they plan on doing to lengthen the online end of the game but whatever it is, I don't want to see something like unicorns having a rainbow race or something stupid.

For sure, should be good. I feel like I am going to have to pay more attention in this one too since there will likely be people trying to betray Arthur as well.

I am considering the same. I don't know if this will end up impacting the ending of the story or not but if it ends up being the case, I will just play through it again as an evil SOB lol

I am really not doing anything but waiting. I have considered playing through RDR again but I can't be bothered. It is too close to the release for that for me. I'll just be sitting here counting down the day.

I'm sure there will be a lot of games to play like in the last one. Horseshoe tossing, darts, and other games of that nature to go with poker. There was the one with the knife and stabbing the table between the fingers, I can't remember the name of it. I am sure it will be back.

I never got why that would even be a thing in a game... like a pet bear? Really? I get that it is a game but that is not realistic at all. A cougar is possible but still very unlikely. Maybe a bobcat is as far as they should have gone with cats and wolves/foxes with canines.

Anyone making fan-made clothing yet? I am waiting for it to start dumping out on sites like TeeSpring. I see it for almost every other game and there is already enough to work with based on the latest game-play trailer alone.

Well... That has to be him. So I guess we will see him. Since they are a family unit within the camp, I can see some pretty big things blowing up and betrayals. I CAN'T WAIT!!! So much drama I can feel it!

I would imagine they play it off by maybe having Arthur say something when you try to shoot a kid. Similar to when you tried to buy a hooker with John. He just declined every time.

I got into an argument about holidays being overrated with a friend. He actually got pissed at me and left my house. I was kind of laughing over it. I thought a general "overrated" thread can be good to talk about really anything in life that you feel is overrated. I'll start us off with saying drinking is vastly overrated. Sure, you can have a good time but it makes you feel like crap, make poor decisions, and it costs too much (unless you buy cheap alcohol which makes you even feel worse). I drink now and then but nothing like I used to. I just don't see the point.

The internet makes everything great while simultaneously making it worse. That is down to certain sites and people though. If you avoid social media, stick to forums, and focus on what you want/believe, then you can have a good time.

I am salivating. THIS LOOKS INCREDIBLE! I love how they call Arthur "pretty boy" LOL I just have no words. The camps sound incredible. You actually work within the group and help them and they help you. I am going to not have a life soon outside of RDR2.

As mention, likely not. They make tweak some things and maybe add in specific servers like maybe have standard and "hardcore" but even then, that is pushing it. It will be like GTA V with less loading time... I hope.

I was talking about this at work today with someone. He was all "I am getting this game, that game, this one is ordered" and then I said, you got Red Dead in this mix, how are you going to invest time in all these games and still find time to enjoy them completely? By the end of our conversation, he is now only getting Red Dead and Battlefield which is down from I think 6 or 7 games he named. lol

Bear you can see coming though. I am more worried about those cats man. They got me so many times in the last one. Then again, I had a bear scare the crap out of me once cause the sound didn't actually trigger in the game. I actually jumped up.

I am a mix of options 1 and 2 but felt bad for the second option cause no one else voted for it so I picked that one. I didn't preorder yet but I will be soon enough here.

I had some nice grilled chicken for dinner. It was extra satisfying as I accidentally burned part of my bear while lighting the grill and I can still smell the burnt hair scent lingering in the air.

I have to agree with this. You shouldn't be able to ban someone or charge them for a crime for being an idiot. You should let them be because the general public will dish it right back. It is not like offline. A lot of times people only say and do things online because they feel protected. Most people who say stupid things on Twitter would never say it in public offline much less to anyone's face. Are they really a threat? I would guess not. On the other hand, if you lose your job over it, then that is on you. lol

They did? I don't even remember that being a thing. I can't see them doing this either though because the way they have mentioned doing transactions for DLC already.
