On emulation I stumbled across this (RPCS3, a PS3 emulator) - starting to look very promising:

Okay tax return taken care of! Right now I'm probably looking at picking up these games: Hitman: Complete first season The Talos Principle
-
Wolfenstein baby, oh yeah! Probably going to be another massive download again though which is the only part I'm not looking forward to. Also looking forward to Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

Some more crazy ideas: Snake Wagon: Sell snake oil in your part time to make some extra cash. Just watch out for those people that find your stuff doesn't really allow them to shoot as sharply as you do. Pimp Wagon: Deliver your "product" to a required location, wait a while and then take your product back home. Ka-ching! Just watch out for those customers that want to enjoy your product for free or perhaps even try to keep it permanently. Pimp Wagon 2: Some old chap you've met claims he's from the future and has agreed to help pimp your wagon out with custom gear. The first 1.21 jigowatts steam powered wagon! HOVER DLC SOLD SEPARATELY. Chariot Races. You're tired of those big old wagons and have been invited to take part in a race using a smaller and more agile chariot! Guns not allowed but anything else goes (including fire bottles and dynamite).

Picking up a copy of Portal 2 for my better half (it's very cheap now) so that we can play some co-op together as I've only ever played through the single player campaign a few times. Also have a few other items on my wishlist but just waiting for my finances to stabilize a bit after our tax season starts on the 1st of July. Worth noting is that this week GOG is giving away a copy of the double dragon trilogy with every purchase.

Could be fun to include them and I think they could do a bit to make them fun to play with. - Wagon races! Bring your gloves and whip because you're going to need them. - You become the driver in delivering important people from the train station to an import destination as quickly as possible. Beware of taking them shortcuts though as we all know who lurks up in those areas...

A nice feature but truly only enjoyable to me personally with an FOV greather than their defaults which thankfully mods help to fix.

Sad and I can't even join in (I have the social club version which was quite a bit cheaper than the steam version when I bought it via greenmangaming). Anyway this is the one time I can think of applying an offline patch (and not to avoid the online mode but instead to keep it from updating) that I feel is justified to at least keep my own personal mod collection up and running.

Yeah the thing is that there aren't really a lot of platforms for them to cross especially if Sony is so anti it. I mean initially it'll be Xbox and Playstation and if Playstation is out then it'll only really be PC much later on down the road when it releases (yes, it WILL release on PC someday....please!).

They said one day we would also not like the new music being made (and we'd call it crap just as they used to call our music crap). Ha, they were right! They weren't right about me getting to like opera though...

Thanks for that, I missed this topic earlier.

Not so much cringe as oddball.

This is a question for anyone that has played modded games before: Do you think it should be allowed (at least for single-player content) or do you think it has no place at all? I ask this only because I just read over on PCGamer that a modding tool has been taken down recently which was used to mod GTA V (and other GTA games) in the past. I guess this only affects you if you used mods in the past or if you are planning to use them at some point. For me personally I like having the ability to mod games or use mods as they're fun, allow us to enjoy the game created in a different way to what the original game provided and also keep us playing the game in hopes of additional official content provided by the developer. This of course also means that I don't approve of them if they're used to cheat online but I honestly wouldn't try and use mods online unless the game officially supported them (i.e. with Ark: Survival Evolved). I created my own mod for GTA V (just something personal) quite a while back that used bits and pieces of other mods (to show the in-game speed). I then used this to create my own "Speed" mini game where I wouldn't be allowed to drop below a certain speed for longer than three seconds before blowing up. It was fun, taught me about scripthook and kept me playing the game in ways I'd never thought about playing it. What are your thoughts? Bonus - This was the first thing I did, I created a mod that simply displayed my current speed, the fasted speed I'd ever travelled in the current vehicle and then also the fasted I've ever been in any vehicle:

Thanks for that! I've heard a lot of people say that they prefer the XBox Controller over the Playstation one and with the 360 vs the PS3 controller I just couldn't see why with that d-pad so it sounds like they at least overcame that with the Xbox one controller. Now that my analog stick has started sticking every now and then too (it then keeps panning the camera in GTA V) I think it might be time to try out an XBONE controller for my PC.

Could the delay be due to the Xbox One X?
Jamesie replied to YellowDragon's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Yeah I agree! I felt E3 wasn't quite as exciting as I'd hoped it would have been and with this anyone showing RDR2 would have stolen the show for one of them. Probably just too soon for Rockstar to want to shown anything more I guess. -
Green Man Gaming has a few Rockstar specials too. Pick up GTA V for quite a bit less than steam. Also get yourself a SHARK! Normal price is $58.49 but click HERE to get it for much much less. Grand Theft Auto Online: Megalodon Shark Cash Card. You too can now finally eat fish!

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition (Steam): $9,99 “Ori and the Blind Forest” tells the tale of a young orphan destined for heroics, through a visually stunning Action-Platformer crafted by Moon Studios.

Sadly (based on GTA V) I doubt we'll see a lot of single-player content from them post release of the main game. Would love to see a crazy mix up of it though similar to what Far Cry did with Blood Dragon, think Cowboys vs Aliens type of thing.

How are the d-pads these days on the XBOX controllers? I only ask because I still use a 360 controller every now and then on my PC and to be honest the thing just sucks (the d-pad that is). Probably warrants a new topic altogether like "XBOX controller vs Playstation controller" but given the choice I'd rather use my PS3 controller. Anyway let's see how the games pan out, exclusives will win me over but I haven't seen anything yet to make me say "I really WANTS it!". I did watch the Crackdown 3 trailer as I always wanted to play the original when it released way back then but I have say the trailer actually turned me off more then it did on. Forza, sure looks good but a console seller for me personally. So fellow gamers, what are the games that are going to really sell someone on this that I've missed?
