Want to know the story behind this. Did they get the proportion of physical to digital sales out of whack (I am sure it can be easily fixed, they'll never not have enough), has demand been way too high, or is it delayed (unlikely I guess otherwise X1 would be the same).

That's the million dollar question on every Red Dead fans mind at the moment. No one knows!

I'll go first and will make it more interesting by not using GTA Online... Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Why? Shooting, obviously. It's awesome and fun in CS:GO. If the PVP part of RDO was anything like that it would be amazing. Your turn, everyone else. I think it's a little harder than you think if you don't pick GTAO

I don't think that anyone talking like that (in the screengrab) could seriously be a Rockstar employee. Also, why would they jeopardise their job and other stuff just to say that to a bunch of crazies on 4chan.

I feel like the combat mechanics in GTA V were too basic anyway, so they definitely need to beef them up regardless of whether there would be other gameplay aspects they could rely on (horse racing, ranching, hunting, whatever). The combat needs to be top notch.

Rockstar could own E3 if they turned up.

Robbing trains and banks in the Wild West would be AWESOME. So much so that I think it will be a given that they are included in the game... Can't wait

I don't think that is the map. Would be a pretty epic leak (and one of the biggest of all time in terms of gaming) if it was/is actually the map though!!!!!

If they really put some effort into it, then robbing banks in the Wild West would be pretty cool. Would also make a great "job"/way to make money. The good side of it could be acting as the sheriff/town lynch mob going after robbers. Same with robbing trains etc... man there is so much cool stuff in the Wild West when you think about it! They would all make interesting activities in the game

Reigns, saddle, horse shoes, skin/fur and eye color... Not really all that much you can do with horses really. Imagine a lot of black/white horses in Online

Hey there, welcome! I agree that should be the game of the year... the question is which year lol.

That leather bit is critical for me + I bet most Cowboys can't swim (why would they need to). That's why I don't think we should have swimming. But maybe you don't die instantly, if there is an NPC or another player/companion around, maybe they can throw you a rope within a specified time frame and that would save you.

I agree, if it's limited to the Online part then I don't think I'd have an issue with any kind of whacky/outlandish stuff. If it is included in the story mode though, then I'd be pissed. Would ruin the game IMO.

Zombies has been done to death with the Walking Dead/Fear the Walking Dead I think and I'm sick of them them. I used to be a major fan of FTWD but you can only handle so many one in a million type things going wrong for the survivors before it all becomes far too repetitive. I have the last 2 seasons saved and waiting for a time to watch them... I'm in no hurry though.

I don't think Rockstar Games would be so stupid as to ever block off content for those people only who have paid real cash for it. Maybe unless it was a massive SP expansion but then again, Grand THeft AUto V hasn't seen anything in terms of SP DLC.

Stop sleeping Rockstar! Posting RDR1 stuff when the gaming world is hanging out for the tiniest bit of actual RDR2 info is just cruel.

I can't recall the source but read somewhere that it will be a prequel because Marston is back... and if he is back, then given the way RDR1 ended then it must be a prequel!

I am interested in this too. Obviously GTA is a massive modern world with lots of different stuff to buy - gadgets, technology, cars etc. But there is only so many ways that the horse or wagon can look. Money was essentially useless in RDR1 after a point. They need to figure out a way to get us spending it much more freely and often in RDR2

I think they need dedicated servers for Red Dead Online. I read that GTA Online works off P2P structure and that this is one of the main reasons that you can get disconnected, placed in a lobby by yourself, slow loading screens etc. If they fixed that up and introduced things like server browsers etc so you got the best connection possible, I think that would fix alot of the issues that I have with GTAO at the moment.

Scorpio looks freaking amazing. Still not as powerful as the most powerful (and expensive) PCs available right now, but damn. Serious performance.
