What do you think the player limit will be?

I don't know if this was asked here or not, so if it was, my apologies. 

I am just curious if they will stick to the 16 per rule of old,  the updated 30 per rule (Xbox One and PS4), or try for something like 50!

What do you all think?

32 in GTA V feels like heaps, they aren't the same game. But I feel the same player count, spread out wider (or atleast less mobile) will provide a nice balance

30-40 my guess. They won't drop it back because they were able to fit that many on GTA V and it will likely be expected. I would be shocked if it is less than 32.

I think we are going to start with 16 to 20 per server and the reason I say this is because I feel like they may leave room to expand the online map. They will be able to get more money out of the game this way and most people would be willing to get extended areas.

I can't see them going less, even with what DarkShark said. They have the advanced systems to work with on this one so they will easily host 32 players.

With the 30 gang on this one. As mentioned, it is for obvious reasons. The map likely wont be HUGE but it will be plenty big to host 32 players.

Depends on size of the map,I would say 30-35

I am guessing 50 but that is ONLY if they have a huge map. Maybe even have two separate maps you can travel to and from. Like north and south.

It is going to be the same as GTA V was after they allowed more players on. There is no reason for there to be more and I highly doubt they would do less unless the map itself is smaller. I can't see that being the case though. It will be as big if not bigger.

I agree with the range of 30 - 40 depending on map size

30-40 for me as well. I can't see them doing less than 30. This map will likely be bigger than GTA V's and have a lot more land and wilderness than the last one that can be fun to do things in with gangs.
