Maniglt Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Hi there, Two of my friends and me had the bad surprise of not getting any reward in the treasure chest of lvl 160. I've found the treasure as usual, but when i opnened it i could only "close it", without getting anything. It is the first time ever this happened, same for my friends. I did not unlock the next ones yet but my friends told me they got reward on treasure 165 and 170. Did something similar happenned to any of you ?? The location of this treasure map was near Valentine. Anyway do not expect RDO$ and Gold in this one!!!

My buddy never had this issue and he is on Xbox. Have you contacted them about it yet? I would ask around but he is the only one I know that is above a level 160.

I cannot believe this happenned to only the 3 of us...

You can see the reward appear and disappear inside the chest if you look closely, but no option to collect reward. Mine was on top of the train tunnel. Looney Dan Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Not near 160. I haven't even broken into 100 yet. I feel like I am falling behind now lol Is there supposed to be something in the chest? I don't remember hearing anything about it.

bblancobrnx Posted February 21, 2019 Posted February 21, 2019 Hmmmm interesting...was it the box that disappeared? Or the treasure inside the box? The box itself didn't disappear for me. Once I opened the box and then changed servers, map was gone from my inventory.

What is the most you have received in one? I've only just done the first 10 and the most gold I received was .95. The most money $144.29 (I received gold and money in all). I expected more gold.
bblancobrnx Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 I have gotten 1 gold bar one time before. Never seen higher than that. Also got $170 some dollars on one, but not on the one that had a full gold bar in it.

I had the same issue at 105 in the same location. Contacted rockstar support and they gave me 1 gold bar and $175. Took less than 8 hrs for them to get back to me.

Ronin_SevenFour Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 This has not been fixed yet. PS4, Cattail Pond, on top of the tunnel, lvl 160 treasure map, empty treasure chest. So if support said they were working on a fix a year ago, they are sure taking their time...
