GTA V radio needs better options!

So I ended up getting GTA V on PC to play with a few friends of mine since it was only $15 and playing it again after having not played it for awhile, I noticed one minor annoyance for me and that is the radio. Sometimes it is off. Sometimes it is on. Sometimes it is on random channels even though I just had it on one channel, got out my car, and got back in.

They need to have an option to keep it off or selected to one channel for each owned vehicle.

From what I recall, the radio in your personal vehicle stays on the station you leave it on, will remain off if you left it off, etc.  Random vehicles are set randomly.

For the most part I find the radio station is where I left it although perhaps not always.  ......on console (PS4) that is.

This happens on bikes... A LOT. It always defaults my bike to one of the rock stations. In cars, I think it works how Kean said. I don't really remember though.

I would have loved the option to allow some sort of live streaming play list to be an option for people but I know they need to get rights to ever song in the game so it is impossible for them to do this.

I never had a problem with this myself. It seemed to function just as a regular radio would in your irl car.

I think someone brought this up a while back on the GTA forum and they actually asked Rockstar about it. They responded something along the lines of due to copyright issues, what songs make it in the game are the only songs that will be in the game and went on to say no new ones will be added at this time. Maybe they will decide to add in new ones? Who knows.

I setup the personnel radio station. You add your own MP3 and you are good to go.

....so yeah, was playing a little tonight and it seems the radio stayed tuned to the stations I had set them on in the vehicles I had been driving.

Were you driving Michael's Tailgater, Franklin's Buffalo, Trevor's Bodhi, or random vehicles you jacked off the street?

Online.....  My own vehicles and CEO helo, etc.

The OP doesn't say what cars he's talking about, which is why I'm pointing out that the radios in the story mode protagonists' personally-owned cars will sometimes default back to the individual protagonist's favorite radio station.

The OP says he bought the game to play with a few friends of his (revisiting it after having played it before). I'm assuming he means online but yeah, seems the radio presets, etc. work a little differently in story mode.

Is this an option for online or just story mode? Cause if I can do this online, I am so down. I wanna cruise the streets listening to some heavy metal lol
