Pissing me off.

On xbox one. So far I've had to heal cripps five times before I could do a resupply run.  Completed said run 5 times each time arriving back to camp with the goods. Only for the mission completion to be ignored. It showed no supplies and i needed to resupply. Gave up in the end and tried to complete a traders instead. Reached the far away destination killed all the bandits dropped the load in the correct spot. Timer still running down no bandits anywhere. Mission failed. 

 

I'm getting fed up of all the glitches in the past week or so of having this game. Its bad enough having to fight of toxic players that kill you for shits and giggles while no bounty on your head or on a mission. And don't get me started on the respawn during a mission.  I'm so glad I didn't pay full price for this game and got it on the game pass. So far the aggravation of the game play is not worth its price tag and I wouldn't buy this at full price now I k ow how bad it is.

I love the game, really love it, now level 184 and play every day.  Has been almost glitch-free for me for two months.  But this past week has bee different - I haven't managed to get my Camp to spawn since middle of last week.  Everythig else works fine but the Camp is dead.  I couldn't even do the 'eat camp stew' daily as it won't spawn.  SOmetimes it appears on the map, but isn't there in reality.  Everything has worked great, though, so I have just focussed on the rest of the game.  I feel your pain though.  Do stick with it, it's amazing.

Personally, I paid full price and felt the campaign (single player portion) was worth the price alone given the scope, the length, etc.  It was a full game in itself.

I had been playing since the beta and I also got a lot of play out of the online portion of the game. ....well worth the $60 IMO.  I know some have been experiencing issues and that's no excuse for R* not addressing them in a more timely manner but overall, I'd buy it again.

btw, I'm going to move this topic to online as it really doesn't have anything to do with trying to troubleshoot a specific issue but is more of just an opinion piece.

Im encountering problems with camp and moonshine shack as well. BUT hey !!! teh  animals are back

glad to see that people see animals or people play with no glitches except one or 2. i tried after 1 month and couldn't see anything on the map.  no animals, no dynamic events, bounty boards dead, cripps glitches, moonshine black screens upon starting the delivery, shack with no people inside, band couldn't even start play a damn song and i reloaded 5-6 times through all these glitches. i maybe will try again next month.

As Kean_1 said, the story mode was easily well worth the cover price of the game, online has always been a bonus. I even went back to storymode recently due to frustration with online - it shows the game at its true worth, so much better than the current online entity. The game feels much more alive and even though I've done 100% completion I was still finding new and surprising dynamic events in the world.

I still love the game but aside from my stint in single player have barely played in the past few months. Having enjoyed the online version through the good times the current state frustrates me when I log on. A bit like how GTAO became for me but for different reasons.

I can't help feel R* shot themselves in the foot (remarkably for an established game developer) by making gold so easy to come by. There is zero need for micro transactions in RDO so its dying a slow death due to insufficient investment.

I agree with you on gold and the broken economy (I'm at 300 gold bars, now, and I waste it left right and centre on weapons, clothes, horses etc) but the game really is much more stable, it's worth coming back.  Even allowing for my Camp glitch yesterday, that came after I had fulfilled the two dailies surrounding donations to Cripps.  I also managed a resupply mission before logging off last night.  Got me to level 185.  Then had a fun shootout with a two man posse at Emerald Ranch and called it a night.  Was like the good old days!

I'll give it another go at some point but I last tried a couple of weeks ago and it was no different and then I got into Stranded Deep.

Might also be Xbox patches working better than PS4 ones.  I like the look of Stranded Deep, but am already heavily into RDR and Elite: Dangerous.  Given I already have a wife (and four kids), two mistresses are all I can handle!

Same here. Don't even get me started on when the camp sometime disappears in game.

That's why I haven't played in six months.  The online just never quite worked for me, despite every possible fix attempt,  and I got tired of spending more time in error & loading screens than playing the actual game. 

But I must be a glutton for punishment, because I'm actually considering firing it up again in the near future.

Yeah, I haven't touched the game in several months myself.  Just waiting for the next update whenever that may come.

I've been playing the last week. Still the same bugs. For whatever reason my main character still is messed up with bugs. Disconnects, animals not spawning, camp disappears & so on. But my 2nd character is a whole lot better. Been playing this past weekend only on my 2nd account, with only 1 disconnect & only twice animals stop spawning. But I did a story mission & right afterwards more animals started to show up. Actually enjoy playing again since my 2nd account is working.

Still don't understand why my main character is messed up the my 2nd character works fine. Since both accounts are on the same Xbox.

It is really weird, I wish I understood the pattern to the bugs better.  I;m also on Xbox One and the game has been solid as a rock for me for a couple of weeks now.  I hit level 195 last night, so ten levels in three weeks.  I can now do the full range of missions within one session and rely on it, so I did resupply missions and moonshine missions last night with no issue.  Did all bar one of the dailies.  It's like a different game since mid/late May.  But I'm obviously very naiive as I assumed that meant it was fixed for all Xbox players.  Sorry you're still having issues.

Just wanted to share something. I have been playing the game online on the Xbox One since beta and I recently started playing online on the PlayStation 4. It seems that the game has less glitches on the PlayStation 4 than the Xbox One. So far, I've not encountered any issues with the Trader Role camp on the PS4. That's not say that there aren't none, but on Xbox One you can tell that there are issues as soon as you start playing.

I also have played since Beta witsh some break and have to say in my case the glitches are close to non existant. The only issues i have are with weapons beeing switched when i enter pvp or pve co-op missions. Mainly my dual mausers switch to single Mauser or Cattleman revolver (i never bought one) and Mauser.   Other than that all seems ok for some time  now. The animal spawns are ok as well. 

Good to hear that you have a better experience in playing using PS. I was thinking of buying PS myself but ill stick with X box bcoz i have too many x box accesories and i know they will be compatible with the new series x model. . Waiting for X box series X release this year.
