Same here, I don't want a repeat of GTA Online. I don't want another Freeroam experience where your bombarded with toxic players who can only kill you with explosives or by abusing Passive Mode, I hope Rockstar ditch the abused features of GTA Online and make Red Dead Online more gunplay based as well as bring back Friendly Freeroams instead of putting a glorified God Mode in Normal Freeroam. Noise pollution was a big problem in GTA Online, Rockstar could've reduced the problem by keeping the proximity chat they had introduced in Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer but instead they just went with a lobby chat.

Based on what I have seen in the gameplay, it would appear you can just set up camp on open land so maybe the first place is free and it cost more the further you move our or something. I am curious to see how they do this.

I agree that there are some sick people in this world but putting a feature in a video game which allows players to port their face onto their virtual character is not gonna contribute to some psycho deciding to go on a rampage in real life, it's not even a drop in the ocean. If certain people have difficulty differentiating between real life and a video game that shouldn't affect the artistic/creative vision of a developer. Violence is as old as mankind itself and blaming any entertainment product for a rise in such behaviour is ridiculous, if it was a major issue and there was a link between people invisioning themselves in violent situations and those same people committing violent acts governments would be moving to confiscate VR Headsets from people and taking their computers just incase they Photoshop themselves into P. P. Rubens' Massacre Of The Innocents. The amount of attention given to mental health problems is an issue but putting ridiculous restrictions on art, video games or movies is not the answer, it's moronic.

For the gun I just went to the Amusement Park and unloaded, when the cops became overwhelming. I would just jump of the side of the pier and swim under till they left. The ax my son, who lives for YouTube, knew where everything to do and where to go. So I flew through that.

I guess I was raised to see people for who they are. Like @shawn said, I don't care who puts what in whose holes (assuming the receiving end is willing and legal). Just be a decent person, and we'll get along just fine. I was definitely viewed differently in high school because several of my friends were (very) gay. Though, I was that "scary goth kid" (wore a lot of black and liked metal more than people) anyway, so most people avoided me unless they got to know me.

My dad does squares at work for the superbowl and always gets one for each of us. I usually end up winning at least one quarter somehow.

Personally my biggest fear is that the online mode will be like GTA 5 online. I got tired of always having to make a private or solo server to invite my friends can we could not just roam openly without fear of being ganked. Also got tired of people having music on their mic or a crying baby so that the server was filled with noise pollution.

For an online game that is centered around a Freeroam environment it is very toxic, with GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption Freeroam was made to be a place where you could mess around with other players, killing other players wasn't encouraged but it wasn't actively discouraged like it is in GTA Online, with GTA Online Rockstar decided in their infinite wisdom to include an in-game KD Ratio which has created a breed of tryhards and KD warriors who only care about getting kills and don't play for a fair fight or the challenge of PVP. They'll kill anyone and everyone from level 1 upwards and kill themselves when their health is low, there is also an abundance of military vehicles/weapons that they can use to kill other players so skill doesn't even come into Freeroam anymore and because there's no challenge to fighting or running away there's no deterrent for mindless killing.

For me it's a combination. Be able to partake in a fair gunfight when I want, but also be able to disappear somewhere if I want some peace.

I don't think this idea at all. Part of the beauty of being online or playing online games is being able to be anonymous. Maybe it is my inner "screw the man!" mentality but I don't like the idea of taking my face and putting it on a character, then running around shooting other people. Also, given the gun issues in the US, this is something that would put a very bad taste in people's mouths.

I've played the RDR story so many times, I usually play through the story once every 3 months +, currently playing through the story again in preparation for RDR 2.

Customisation, I feel, will be R$'s number one pathway to $$$$.
