  1. Actually I use to do this all the time, but it didn't taste like straight cinnamon. I smoke meats, and my favorite meat to smoke is burgers and for the seasonings I use brown sugar, cinnamon, garlic, salt, pepper, and other rubs. Then, I punch a few holes into the patty and pour some Jack Daniels so it goes into the meat and soaks. Leave all that sit in the fridge overnight, and then slap it on the smoker for a few hours. SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.

  8. Yes injecting and marinading the meat is key, anything that has super flavored juices, such as pineapple juices, apple splices, honey or acidic juices such as lemons etc etc. I think the most people like from the jack daniels, is the rich oaky taste you get from it. Jack Daniels has that nice oaky taste too it with hints of vanilla.

  9. My old man smokes pork shoulder for Thanksgiving, and one of the things he does is inject the meat with Jack 2 or 3 days before he smokes it. I agree with your assessment of the magic of Jack's meat-curing properties.

  10. Ready to have your mind blown? Cinnamon burgers. Just form up a patty, and absolutely coat that sucker with pure, unadulterated ground cinnamon (like a thick coat of dry rub). Tuns out, it's only the best burger ever. No need for cheese or condiments, just meat and bun. It tastes nothing like you'd expect it to, because cinnamon is so married to sugar in baking that we all expect it to be sweet. As it turns out, it's nothing like that AT ALL. It was the juiciest, most savory and compelling burger I ever had. I made a second to confirm, and upped the amount of cinnamon. It was even better the second time around.

  13. The whole thing is part and parcel for working in a production environment when you're up against a deadline. I worked for a media company that was producing content in the past, and I routinely worked 36-48 hour shifts when we were up against it, but that would literally be once every three or four months, and not a regular occurrence. They'd feed us, let us sleep on couches, and we'd get paid overtime for it, so there really wasn't much to complain about it. Those are also offset by entire months of regular to light duty, especially in a ROWE (Results Only Work Environment). If anything, the need for a crunch at the end of production is the result of poor planning by the project manager, who clearly didn't build in enough time into the schedule, or create a realistic, workable timeframe to begin with. A good project manager anticipates those things, and has the power and blessing of upper management to initiate corrective measures and actions against team members who routinely under-perform or miss project goals. I've seen entire projects bogged down by the actions/incompetence/apathy of ONE individual. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, so it takes a project manager with tremendous vision to prevent things like crunch sessions from being a necessity.

  15. I think the whole 100 hour working week thing has been taken totally out of context. I read this article where employees came out on social media to have their say about it which basically confirms that any overtime is optional and they are paid for it. Source: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2018-10-18-rockstar-allows-employees-to-speak-out-on-100-hour-week-controversy I guess its like any job that you are passionate about, you are prepared to put the hours in needed to get the job done.

  16. This is my personal opinion. If you want to work for a top company, who not only cares about their games, but innovates the gaming industry, you have to work harder, and faster than anyone else PERIOD. Rockstar employees know this very well, and I'm sure their pay is outstanding. Bottom line, work sucks, and nothing good comes easy and simple. If you want to be the best in the industry and set world records, you have to put in the time and effort, and the people at Rockstar work hard as a team. Do I think Rockstar abuses their employees by working hard? I think Rockstar pushes the absolute limits to make a great game, and I hardly see any company do that, thus making Rockstar the top gaming company in the business right now. Developers know, being a Rockstar employee automatically gives you a good reputation on your career, and if you put the time and effort and make a very big hit game, and your apart of it, your reputation will be even bigger. Also, as much as it may suck, the employees have a right to quit, they aren't forced into staying with the company. I'm sure the pay is worth it, or else they wouldn't sustain a great time, because at the end of the day, business is business. Quality comes before anything when making a product, and successful companies know this (Rockstar). If you make a bad quality games, the company will then slowly suffer, and you will only destroy yourselves (Call of Duty).

  18. Hi all, I'm Alex, 29 y/o from Oslo, Norway. New to the forums and really looking forward to the game and getting to know this community. Started gaming on the Xbox 360, RDR was the catalyst that got me hooked on multiplayer games. I really loved the light roleplay aspect that was possible in GTA 5 and really looking forward to do the same in Red Dead Online.

  22. Thanks I'm glad you like it. Once the game releases, more official art will be exposed to the public. Then, I will probably make a bigger and better pack, but for right now, official artwork and good quality PNG files are limited, so this is why I gathered everything in the mix. I know the forum rules state we cannot talk about anything illegal, but there are other ways to get Photoshop. Staying within the forum rules, you would have to google that task yourself, but it's completely doable and easy.

  23. I will probably be very uncreative and just name him or her Horse. My friend said he is naming his "MyMeat" so everytime someone does something to his horse he can yell "Don't Touch MyMeat!" and variations of that. lol

  25. I'd be both surprised and disappointed in equal measure if they did anything even remotely pantomime in RDR2. Can't see it myself - this game seems far more serious.
