This child is obviously not going to contribute anything useful to this forum (except the lols) and instead crow about how 1337 he is and offer up his house (which he likely doesn't own). I say we string him up by the feet and let the crows peck at him... or ban him. Dealer's choice.2 points

This conversation has turned full turd. If you were as good as you think you are (top 3...ha), you would be using your skill professionally. Judging from the fact that your trying to get views on Youtube (also terrible), I'm guessing you aren't. This is blatantly false. Your post count completely contradicts your "at all" charge. I would vote that this thread be closed because you're just fighting with each other now.2 points

My preferred pronoun is "Bro" not "buddy". "Chief" is also acceptable. Also, a piece of advice: if you're trying to use clickbait to drive views, maybe provide the link in the text and make it "clickable" (as in "click" bait). What you provided in the OP is more "copy-paste" bait. Of course, if you had more familiarity with self-promotion, you would have simply embedded the video in your post, like this:2 points

For those of you struggling trying to obtain max health stats, here's a really easy way to do so: buy a bow & arrows and just kill enemies, either by replaying story missions, doing gang hideouts, or killing other players (sometimes it's amusing to bring a bow to a gunfight). Each kill will either give you +10 or +15 health, but make sure you aim for the chest. If you aim for the head you'll more likely get +1 deadeye stat instead of health. Two days ago I was still at level 6 health, now I'm almost to level 10.2 points

They decided to throw in a motion sensor on the ****ing lights in the bathroom at work. The dumb asses decided to set it for 15 minutes... Today (for the second time) that ****ing light turned off at the worst time... Of course I can't just wave my hand above the door and trigger it, I have to open the ****ing stall door and step out... WHO THE **** CAME UP WITH THIS?!?! I'm about to go tell them to change the time or else they can pay me to go home for my sh*t breaks...1 point

hi beat the game last weekend, 100% story done but only ~74% of the total game completed because I ignored most side missions. Just looking for stuff to do now in the game. I nerded out hard on this game. Got bumpers stickers and t shirts coming lolz.1 point

So I managed to grind out enough to get the gold to buy horse insurance, and now my horse totally disappears. The first time that I die, the horse buggers off and doesn't return. In its place, the Scrawny Nag. I can get my horse back by going to a stable, but again it disappears the first time I die. It's frustrating knowing I've got a better horse than the walking tub of glue that I'm stuck with. I've put in a support ticket about this, and will update when I hear back from someone.1 point

Curious what sort of money making routes you guys are doing in free roam. I've gotten into the pattern of hitting a fishing hole and then hunting on my way to the Valentine butcher and I'd like to plan a longer more varied route that hits multiple money making opportunities and butchers. Good hunting, fishing, herb collecting, gang spawns, etc? So what are your go to spots? Here's my Salmon fishing spot. They sell for $4.25 a pop, but require a $0.50 worm to catch until you can get lures at rank 30. The Salmon seem to appear in this very specific location and have some kind of spawning cycle where they aren't always there, but it's usually pretty reliable.1 point

One of the more challenging activities you can encounter in Red Dead Online while in free roam is a Gang Hideout waiting to be cleared. These camps of enemy bandits pop up occasionally in fixed locations and clearing them carries with it the chance to acquire some valuable items or treasure maps. If you intend to complete challenge awards, you'll inevitably be directed towards these hideouts sooner or later. Gang hideouts can spawn in 24 locations. These spawn locations are fixed, but there is no guarantee that the camp will be there when you travel to the spawn point. Of the 24 locations, a few are just out in the open with no props in the game world indicating their presence unless they're spawned in. Thanks to a Reddit user who goes by Rock1Jump, we have a map showing each Gang Hideout spawn location. The two locations that the author marked as "makeshift camp" are the ones that aren't obvious unless the hideout has actually spawned in. When you clear gang hideouts, there is a chance that the gang leader will drop a treasure map that will lead to you valuable loot somewhere in the game world. The drop rate for the maps isn't known as of present, but it is definitely very low - some players report that after clearing 20 hideouts, they've encountered none, while others found just one after 12 cleared hideouts. At the same time, a few lucky players report drop rates of two out of two cleared hideouts or one out of four hideouts, but these seem like fortunate outliers - especially the former. Treasure chests can only be looted by the player who has the treasure map. The physical chest itself is visible to all players in the session and can be opened if they find it, but there will only actually be any loot inside if you have the map pointing to it, otherwise, it will be empty. Due to the sporadic drop rate, relying on treasure maps from hideouts isn't a good strategy for securing income. Instead, check out our money making guide for Red Dead Online. The post Red Dead Online Gang Hideout Spawn Locations appeared first on RDR2.org. Read the full story1 point

I was hoping the outfits we made in single player would be available in online if we had made them ourselves in the story, just maybe a small in-game cash fee as a sort of shipping cost. Then make entirely different sets of craftable gear for online. Just a small way to show off our single player exploits online. Lots of games give something online for people that have completed the story, usually cosmetic, so why not1 point

Good News! https://www.rdr2.org/news/red-dead-online-progress-reset/ R* is officially "not planning" on wiping progression.1 point

but this time I had Miss Grimshaw riding with me. As I was picking myself up and praying my horse didn't die, she says "I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU SURVIVE ALL ALONE OUT HERE" Probably the funniest moment in the game for me so far.1 point

Do you have 2 trinkets and the Legend of the East outfit equipped? That should do it.1 point

Obviously, without sending friend requests you won't see when other people are on. However, the PSN Community gives you the opportunity to see when other players are in game and send them messages if you wish (those that have the option on to appear online that is). The "Now Playing" tab will obviously show who is currently playing and if I'm not mistaken, you have the choice to join their session without being PSN friends. .....although in a game like this it's probably better to send a message if they don't know you so they don't think you're a troll out to kill them. Even with friends I'll still send them a msg making sure it's ok (in case their posse is full or they have other plans). Hope that answers your question.1 point

A fact that you can't back up.. Isn't a fact. Its an opinion. So let me get this straight... If people use free aim and go for body shots its noobish or just luck. But when you use auto aim.. Its 100% pure skill and you're the best ever. LMFAO.1 point

oh very nice, if you play in the PS4 and need any supporting roles or anything else feel free to message me1 point

I browse the forums at my table for your information! I think I was watching some stupid videos on you're or something lol I'm honestly not sure how much longer I'll be working here anyway. I sort of called them on their bluff and was absolutely correct. They always told me they had plans for me, now I realize that was just to get me to do all the sh*t nobody else wanted to do. I really feel like a fool...1 point

I am not having any of these problems, its actually running very smooth for me..minus the odd disconnection. Its good fun, except everything costs so much.1 point

All I learned from that is that diving out of the way seems to be way over used. Did you really create a thread on an internet forum to call yourself the best RDR player? That's turd city bro. Also, isn't this what everyone does in online? Aim-flick-fire? You're not too bad at making montage videos though. Need to work on your narcissism.1 point

That's probably because with a scoped weapon you don't really need dead eye.1 point

New update: "We appreciate all the continued feedback we are receiving on the Red Dead Online Beta. For players concerned about the potential for progress and stat resets, we currently do not have any plans to reset them as part of the Beta's rollout. We are currently still working on game stability and economy balancing for an update that we hope to release later this week. Please stay tuned for more news to come." The whole camp thing feels like it's been tacked on so R* can monetise another thing online. I think I've only been to my camp once since I started playing, and I'm level 30 now. I really don't see a point in it at all. I would actually prefer the way Arthur can set up a camp in the wilderness... Hell, the had it in RDR, for Pete's sake, so they really should either bring an individual campsite online, or make it worth people's time and money to upgrade the camp and spend time there. I want a dog..1 point

And what about the Trapper?? Sure selling pelts to the butcher is a good way to make some quick cash, but I want to be able to make some dope clothing and equipment like in story mode. And maybe they could even add the legendary animals as it’s own mission you can play alone or with friends, hunting down a legendary animal with your buddy’s would be pretty cool!1 point

It's difficult to say. The gun is a one-time pickup, so it's a very real possibility that you lost the pistol in a save you didn't intend to load. Unless you're in the habit of manually saving your game often, the game will only auto-save after events that affect progress, and we don't know what that save actually saved.1 point

I'm Russian Orthodox, so our Christmas isn't until January 7. We don't make that big a deal of it anymore either. I keep wanting to start my shopping early, couple gifts here and there so I'm not stressing while I scramble to get gifts, but I always end up doing things last minute. Last year, I got all my shopping done in about an hour the day before, somehow for only $100 for 9 people. Burlington Coat Factory FTW.1 point

I've been Fishing and Hunting and helping friends with some missions. From fishing I have made over $1000.00 so far. Thats my go to thing for money.1 point

I don't have a fishing rod yet, and when I do get one I may not bother using it - as I find reeling the right stick adequately to be difficult with my disabilities. Instead I've discovered I can fish more easily using throwing knives LOL - sure you damage the fish (smaller ones especially) but they still add up. Simply find a spot low enough to wade into, aim and throw, instant kill, fishy goes belly up and you get your knives back when you pick them up. Caught a big one last night up by Window Rock, needed to toss it onto my horse to ride it back to Valentine1 point

It's ****ing automatic, so don't ****ing worry about it! If not they probably would've booted me by now lol1 point

Quality thread, and quality replies. I hope you guys are using Rockstar's feedback forms: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback Don't forget you can tailor the form to fit your suggestions, and you can submit as many as you like. This is the best way to have Rockstar consider these awesome ideas Please continue to discuss and formulate your ideas here too though! An idea I submitted that hasn't been mentioned in this thread here yet: - Hotels: Renting a room should be available in major towns/cities. This gives the player the ability to "rest" in a nice bed for a few seconds (60 tops) to fully restore AND fortify all (gold) cores for a day. You then can change clothes as well.1 point

On both characters I've had, I was jumped by a pack of wolves and shortly after, a cougar. I riddled the already poor cougar (gross white coat) with repeater rounds and skinned it, and also loaded up it's carcass and headed to a butcher fairly far from where I killed it (there was a closer butcher, but in the wrong direction I was going) and it's poor carcass still netted over $5. While hunting multiple animals in the same herd/area, DO NOT go too far from any dead animals you've dropped (like if you get them spread out), they will disappear. Not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but it's annoying, and if it is supposed to happen, they need to increase the distance. Once somebody else must have gotten confused and must have stowed their wolf pelt on my horse while I was in a shop. I came out and noticed it. I went to the butcher but didn't see it listed as on my horse. I tried to grab it off my horse but it didn't give me the option to. I decided to go into the stable to clear it, Going into the stable indeed removed it. Note: If you're hunting and fully load your horse up (multiple medium pelts, 2 small animal carcasses and a large animal carcass) DO NOT go into the stables, even on foot. I needed horse provisions since my horse cores were nearly depleted. I parked my horse and walked into the stable on foot. upon leaving, I was in the saddle and my pelts and carcasses were gone.1 point

I like the speaker setup. Is it basic stereo or digital? Here's what I have. Simple setup w/ Xbox and PS4, but I cherish my OLED like a baby. I replaced the side and center speakers with Klipsch.1 point

Selling both Legendary and Perfect pelts to the Trapper unlocks the recipes for the clothing: you do not need to hold onto perfect pelts in your inventory. I knew this was true for Legendary pelts, but it holds true for perfect pelts as well. There are also a TON of side businesses to rob without incurring Honor penalties OR bounties. You just have to keep a look out for "irregularities" in buildings that indicate hidden or inaccessible rooms.1 point

I just discovered that there is a "Horse station" function at camp. If you walk up to a hitching post, you get the "Horse station" prompt where you can swap out your horses (if you own multiple horses). Neat.1 point
