Skull Candy is where it is at. I don't care how much I been told my headset is for female gamers. They can go suck a virtual tit. I love mine. Plus I am broke and can't afford anything better right now2 points

Trying to figure out if R* is catering to what they know the audience to be or if they just can't figure out how to make the game fun. What silo do you fall into? 1. Free Roamer: Play missions and intercept other missions (don't mind the occasional griefer) and grind when I need to stay alive (money and food) 2. Just want to explore and grind (kind of wish I had a private instance at times) 3. PVP and Free Roam events are my jam 4. Split my time pretty much doing some of all of the above. 5. GRIEFER! I fall into #1 and I play with a small posse. ***Short answers preferred to keep post relevant1 point

I really hope this doesnt mean stats reset 4 everyone in the end. Im talking about that money making glitch that fills the streets with animals in blackwater. Rockstar answers they are aware of this but its kinda worries me this is a game breaking thing1 point

Good ideas. Just need r* to help people out with it. I wish I could change mine. I rushed him thinking I wouldn't really play the game. If I knew then how much I love this game I would have to my time with him. Yeah totally agree 5 bars sounds better.1 point
-
GTA gives players the ability to change the look of their character. ......but it's for a price. However, they have a couple times over the course of the game allowed players to change their character for free. I suspect at some point R* will do the same in RDO.1 point
-
seems great, now go and suggest it to the Rockstar suggestion and feedback page. I personally wouldn't want to pay 10 gold but 5 gold sounds reasonable enough?1 point

Some of the ones from "the Boy" are pretty fun too although I feel like beating him to a pulp. ......and Shaky for that matter. It's like talking to a tweaker.1 point

I witnessed this being done in Valentine last night. I videoed the exploiter doing it and then reported him to R*. I then proceeded to shoot him and make his exploiting and little more challenging. He was not playing the game as it was intended...so I figured all rules of engagement should be thrown out, too. Made him work for his cougar pelts.1 point

I experienced this most during story mode. But once I beat the game I turned off my xbox, got off the couch more, and ate less junk food I noticed I was back down to my normal wait. Seriously though, my character is always under weight, no matter how much I eat.1 point
-
wish they either removed it entirely from online, or at least had a way to track your weight to see how much (ex: bars) you are in order to see how much you need to eat or starve also spawning with half of your health and stamina after death is annoying as hell. especially with no hat on..1 point
-
I think they have enough ability to track what you are doing that they can see you suddenly sold 500 cougars that you didn’t shoot... I’m sure they can likely follow your money and spending trail also... the time period may be one of paper bills and coins, but it’s a computer game that leaves a purchase and deposit trail every bit as good as your checking and visa account statements. I doubt they’ll have to go beyond cleaning up the accounts of those that actually glitched.1 point

Or... just don’t by games... comparing games of yesteryear, most of which could be contained on a couple floppy disks, or later on a CD or two, and could be played through in a single sitting if you were bored and sat up for a few hours one night, to the most recent games that would take a roomful of PCs like my first one just to store the data and be played for hundreds of hours without seeing all the content... And considering the games of yesteryear cost about the same or possibly even more considering the value of 20th century money to our 21st century money... You could argue we are getting much more gaming value for our bucks in the modern era. And those old games were every bit as flawed and bugged and full of errors upon release. Yeah, I’ll admit gaming companies want to make as much money as possible off their products, and online is the current method of doing so. Every company wants to make money. People out there fork over mountains of cash totaling more than the average guy will earn in their whole life time and they expect a return on that investment that outweighs the risk they take investing. You wanna play, you gotta pay. Or perhaps start some non profit gaming charity service or something... on a side note, people complained back in the day as well... Only instead of the instant gratification of posting a gripe on reddit, you had to actually write a letter to Nintendo Power Magazine or some other niche publication and wait for the next few issues to see if they published it 😂1 point

Sadly, after eating fifteen steaks in one sitting, five cans of beans, and drinking multiple coffees and burbons, my character didn't gain an ounce. The one time I want a bug to work in my favor, and R* has the audacity to ruin THAT for me as well.1 point
-
I cannot get my character to gain weight. I make her eat so unhealthy too sometimes. It seems that the ladies just do not get bigger. Can I have this in real life, please? Maybe there's a 'fat glitch' going on? Just like in GTAO when the 'man face' glitch was appearing on all the female characters.1 point

Since RDR2 is new territory, I'll call back to what I remember from the GTA money glitches. In all my years playing GTA, I only remember them wiping cash one time and it was due to 4 pretty extreme money glitches/hacks that triggered their response. People glitched for billions, not millions, crazy stuff. And even then, all they did was wipe the bank accounts, not the cars, properties or levels. One hack involved people joining servers and literally dropping cash bags on random players. That happened to me, I joined a server and some random walked up to me, dropped like 40 money bag items which my character auto picked up. I had about 400 million after the random did that. About 2 weeks later they zero'd my bank account, but left everything I purchased with the money (and man did I buy alot) intact. Keep in mind that this was years before they started selling shark cards. I imagine that wiping accounts is a little more difficult when it involves people who bought in game cash. From what I've seen, to me it seems that R* rides the wave of wipe rumors in hopes that people avoid the glitches. I could be wrong, but I don't see them wiping accounts for the glitches I've seen so far.1 point

Huh, so after all my problems trying to get Gambler 10, it turns out to be stupidly simple. I just went to Valentine and went all-in three times in a row and won each one.1 point

Everyone was using the Evan's last night in PVP and I got smoked by it when I initiated a feud to try to complete that challenge. Personally I don't fair too well with any of the repeaters. Headshots are a must with them and for me headshots are 50/50. Half the time I either flick the control stick too hard and shoot over their head or not enough and shot them high in the chest or in the neck. That's why I need to go with more power, like the Springfield so if I do miss, I hurt them bad.1 point

I ran from Emerald Ranch to Valentine yesterday just to see what would happen lol I'm still putting foot prints and the cement LOL1 point

I switched back to the Litchfield, the 26 rounds ain't worth it. Only thing I liked was how it sounded and looked. Maybe I'll give it another try later. I use double revolvers or the bolt even for pve. Double Schofield in deadeye sounds like a machine gun going off. Or when I'm trying to imitate Charles, I use my bow lol.1 point

Yes, some of the collectable strands actually requires John as Arthur isn't meant to get to the south western part of the map where some of the collectables are.1 point

Yeah, I definitely can see them wiping profits made by exploits. ......it's Kean btw (one "e").1 point

Been happy with my Sony Gold's so far. .....although the first one broke.1 point

I read several of the posts and a few people mentioned it had happened on an xbox one x also and maybe had to do with hdr, so I wanted to contribute, no HDR for me and no issue either, although most one X's dont have issues, they can, and if they run hot they will. I keep a fan on mine and two glass candle holders under it so air gets around the entire console. Once it locked up hard while many things were happening and fire was on screen, it can get intense and that was before I put a fan on the console. Anyway just want to contribute any info that might help.1 point

I completed All Algernon Wasp exotic missions in chapter 4 Now I just sell eggs, plumes, crawfish, etc. If you haven't finished this, do it, its great, the pay off was big, and you get a couple unique items.1 point

I like to use the free roam events like Dispatch Rider to complete the player kill challenges. Those things are a mad free for all kill zone and you have access to your full arsenal. I got my 5 pump action shotgun kills there last night and a few nights ago I completed the bow kills challenges by lighting a few players up with fire arrows, LOL. The carcano rifle challenge was a little too tough to complete though. That one you might have to be an ass and kill some poor unsuspecting players in free roam. I recently sniped a red dotted player with my Carcano in free roam and paid the price. She started a feud, I accepted and I got my ass handed to me. After the feud was over though we each went on our way. I wasn't about to challenge her again1 point

Yeah I was testing it with a gun fight just earlier and I still say repeaters are for pve content. I'll stick with my bow, bolt action and Schofield/sawed off combo. Not sure if I'll even use the Evans for pve, stick with the Litchfield. I do like how the Evans sounds when firing tho, big umph to it.1 point

I want a full Native DLC a story arc surrounding them something that honours first peoples. clothes, more weapons, trinkets and jewellery. I’d love to dress my rifle in beads and feathers etc. Maybe a cool sheath for my rifle like John Wayne has in the searchers. Military gear would be sweet also. I know I’d like a Sabre or Cutless1 point

Hi @HOTSKIP and welcome to the forums. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I would also suggest that you and others here (who would like to see such additions) to submit your requests through the R* Beta Feedback website they have set up: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=f2e50892 While it's great to talk about it here (and we encourage you do so to help drive awareness, grow ideas, etc.), that site is the only official means of getting our suggestions, concerns and bug reports to R*.1 point

All anyone can do is just wait and see how things shape up. It just seems no one has any patience and takes everything that comes out as some kind of personal slight. I like to think that it’ll eventually shape up to be a decent game, it already is if you ask me, though it does need tweaking. As for content, it’ll come and with every new thing that comes along there will be bloggers, youtubers and message board complainers ranting on all about how each thing ranges from being a worthless upgrade to a game ruining disaster.1 point

Ya GTA O had free aim from the start. By the time it went to xbox one and ps4. They actually added a auto aim to free aim in the form of 'free aim assisted aim'. R* logic at its finest. Well the heists themselves where fun. But this is also when R* added Insurgents and Fighter Jets to be purchased in game, R* then started to add these business DLCs that where, for some weird reason are locked to public session. While at the same time adding more and more OP vehicles to the game. And in game options that really ruined any sort of balanced game play.. Like.. Biker Business is a great concept an fun. But its locked to public sessions.. So you're then stuck doing these biker fetch missions with slow vehicles in lobbies with players in fighter jets that can just dive bomb and slaughter players. But GTA O is a mixed bag..a huge mixed bag. Despite its issues, theres a lot of things to do. Also being able to play private/invite only session allowed different communities to thrive. GTA O had racing crews, that play in private races and held events and played competitively. Also had the ability to just play public races. GTA O pvp crews that players in private matches for actual competitive play. Also had the ability to play public pvp. RD O doesn't have the option for private lobbies, no hosts that can change the rules/settings/game mode. The last Red Dead did.. But not this one for some stupid reason. R* killed off any sort of actual competitive communities from forming. At this point im just holding my breathe till the end of the beta. If this is all this game is.. Is one BIG public mess of a free lobby with no way to host or pick what game modes to play.1 point

How about like good old D&D, when your character dies mid campaign and rather than making everyone start over from scratch, or die in another session or two when the severely crippled party finally dies while one by one people become heckling, beer swilling spectators, a brand new character of the exact same level magically shows up out of nowhere... This would work by saving your actual progress, but letting you destroy your existing character and replace him with a new one. Perhaps at a cost of 10 gold bars or some such.1 point

GTA Online in its early days was god awful. GTAO didn't really become enjoyable for me until late spring of 2014. I'm giving RDO the same chance. Letting Rockstar work on their online portion while I still enjoy single player. I didn't buy RDR2 for the online part of the time. It's just an added bonus. It obviously needs work. That's why it's a beta.1 point
