Solution Found and thank everyone for your help. For future reference: Rockstar gave a gift awhile ago of 10 explosive slugs and I never used them so my recipe would not come up. I found this by accident. Knowing I had never made them before it threw me off. I shot a couple of rounds and I could then craft them. Again thanks.2 points

You are not obliged to use it, but here are the details: You can now create Posses right here on the RDR2 forum, which allow you to create and control your own areas of the forum for whatever topic you may wish. Looking for like-minded players who enjoy rolepaying? Add or join an existing Posse. Want some players who are around your age and who take the game seriously? There's a Posse for that already. https://www.rdr2.org/forums/clubs/ You can give users certain access levels, upload a cover photo for your Posse, and also give it an icon, as seen below. You need to have at least 20 posts (replies or new threads) to create a Posse. Posse Types Three types of Posse are available: Public Posses Posses that anyone can see and participate in without joining. Open Posse Posses that anyone can see and join. Closed Posse Posses that anyone can see in the directory, but joining must be approved by a Posse Leader or Posse Moderator. Non-Posse-members who view the Posse will only see the member list - not the recent activity or content areas. Posse Users Each Posse has three levels of user: Leader A leader has all of the permissions of a moderator, and can add other moderators. They can also add content areas. The Posse owner is automatically a leader. Moderators Moderators, as the name implies, have the ability to moderate content posted within the Posse. Users Anyone else that joins the Posse.1 point

Just interested in how many hours, players here have logged playing RD online. To be honest, I don't know what hardcore means. But looking at my time played. I think I need to get out of my mother's basement lol. 595 hours played so far. I work a 40 hour week and go out socially at least once a week so........1 point

Today has been an odd day. For the first time since the big update I was encountering trolls regularly - lots of lassoing while crafting, dynamite while at butchers, random attacks after leaving shops ... Across multiple sessions??? Weird. I thought this sort of nonsense had been resolved? Also, every time after I got killed I tried to feud and they'd always ignore, then run and hide in a shop???1 point

So i got this coupon from Hello Fresh in the mail. Half price for the first 3 boxes. i figured what the hell, 25 bucks for 2 meals for 2 people is a decent price (that's half off with shipping). Ordered an amazingly good chicken dish with dill cream sauce, wishing i could have ordered that twice lol. The other meal was risotto with sausage and zucchini ribbons. Never made risotto, when you watch them on tv you're like oh that's easy just a few minutes. WRONG! 25-30 minutes standing at the stove stirring rice, adding water, stirring rice, repeat until it's creamy was not fun. the meal though was really really good. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Now i have that chicken recipe from their website, going to try and recreate it this weekend. Not going to bother with the other one as the risotto was really good, just not worth standing there for 30 minutes. Speaking of grilling, i have these huge pork loins from Costco, usually bake them they're so thick but maybe i'll try grilling them instead. Just got a bottle of Famous Dave's Rib Rub that is amazing. Think i'll go buy a brisket and use that on it with a salt shell. makes my mouth water just thinking about it.1 point

Its broken after the last update. You can run across the map without any result and this is a known bug at rs so strange they gave you that info. Those support guys should get their sh*t together seriously.... The last couple of replies i got is embarrasing coming from one of the Worlds largest gaming company, they dont even answer my questions just the copy paste reply over and over1 point

Same here,,,, broken as Most things in this game/beta/alfa?/delta or whatever1 point

Just a suggestion but you might want to fill out the rest of your profile with your console info and gamertag if you so choose. It's helps especially when trying to find others to play with, etc.1 point

Same here. I love my explosive express rounds and explosive slugs. I'll use explosive express rounds(usually rifle), primarily against douchebags who kill me in free roam, to show them I'm not one to mess with. I like to use explosive slugs for the On The Hunt stranger missions to kill the animal I'm tasked with hunting in one shot since I don't have to worry about pelt quality.1 point

Im not sure what that's supposed to mean. When I think of a game being in beta. I think of massive weekly updates, balance changes and fixes. R* is dragging their feet on everything while drip feeding content and refusing to add simple features that the game really needs.1 point

Yeah it's kinda of a toss up between explosive Express and explosive slugs in my book. Both are RDO$ cash grabs but Anti griefers primary use. I don't use them PVP, save them for times of need. Explosive Express seems best for 1 shot/1 kill medium/long distance shots, whereas I kinda like explosive slugs for up close fighting. I kinda stink at free aim/slippery bastard so shotgun/explosive slug is my go to in free aim situations/close up fighting griefers where I am outnumbered Dynamite arrows probably best damage but I kinda of always miss the target, especially if it's moving. Could add that some of the tier 3 passive probably best things you can buy but still don't think they all stack or work right sometimes, plus the cost I haven't mastered the free aim stuff yet and I don't know just always preferred a shotgun.1 point

Shotguns are a blast in this game. You just don't wanna use them long range. I would say anything within 30 feet is perfect but as mentioned, you can go up to about 50.1 point

Maybe try not to take it so seriously - I know it can be difficult when you’ve invested a lot of time and effort into something, but at the end of the day it’s - literally - a game. Play who you want to play with, don’t play with who you don’t, and have fun. If it’s causing you stress or plays on your mind negatively, might be time to take a break. Nothing bad intended by this post, hope you enjoy RDRO and other games with players you want to run with.1 point

lol I hope this is an in character moment because damn, if not its quite sad... a wild west game that involves bandits?? how could this be??1 point

Not really sure what you're complaining about. But id shoot you in the ass if I heard this in free roam. Just sayin'.1 point

I know this is an old post, but I beat Challenge 10 and haven’t seen this posted anywhere else: if you’ve beaten the game, replay “A Fine Night of Debauchery” from chapter 4. You have to lost the first hand to get everyone but the other guy out. The next two hands are programmed for you to win, however. Win those hands and complete the mission (you must complete the mission for the hands to count toward your 3). When you are back to your current game, save it immediately. You’ll have 2 of your 3 straight wins completed. Ride to the nearest poker game you’re good at and win your first hand. My suggestion is to immediately go all in and bluff the other players; it should work. If it doesn’t, reload your previous save and try again! Hopefully this helps some people who are stuck.1 point

Hi, I play mostly day time and weekends (UK - GMT) on PS4. I’m level 65 (04/04/2019). My aim is to level up gaining XP doing the missions, daily challenges (as little griefing as possible, rather just do the kills one on one between ourselves) & gang hideout clearing. I will always loot corpses where possible & don’t say no to free items in building searches either. The aim is having fun on the journey. I also hunt, gather & fish. I’m not a griefer but happy to hunt them in a posse if they become persistent & annoying, messing up our day but would prefer to leave them alone. I would enjoy making new regular online friends to get the most out of RDR2 online either riding out in your posse or in mine. I have a headset & am polite & respectful and English speaking during conversations. Contact me (PSN evilcd) if interested. Thanks1 point

bump. still recruiting, our numbers continue to grow but we are still looking for like minded players.1 point

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you want to look at it, those missions are designed to be interfered with by other players. You get xp for stopping others from completing the missions. Personally I usually don't take part in that. I let them do their thing while I do mine.1 point
