This right here is why I tend to avoid PC gaming.

I like how it looks... but can’t upgrade that variant... Not that shotguns desperately need the upgrades, but I’m glad I didn’t spend money to buy it.

Let’s take a good look at the beautiful world Rockstar has created for us. This was taken on the Heartland hills looking toward Lemoyne at sunrise.

You could set and clear waypoints using the app as well as see where NPC enemies were on missions and easily and quickly zoom in and out to improve situational awareness. You could also quickly look up who blips on your radar were without risking getting shot while blind. Now when you want to quick access the clunky in-game map you get taken into the menu for collectibles instead because they’re mapped to the same button. I don’t buy that it was removed because it became obsolete, my guess is they couldn’t support it for PC players so binned it for everyone.

Well, before we didn't use to have proximity blips so the app was way more useful since everyone was visible. ......but then we got the proximity restrictions and the app (while I still found a use for it) simply wasn't as relevant. There was no advantage as there once was. The one exception is when fishing. The app used to give users the ability to see others approaching even with proximity limitations but now that's not an option anymore.

Yeah... I thought I mentioned that. Maybe worded it badly lol As for the app map, we’ll I can live without it now that I don’t have to watch the whole game map to keep tabs on all the blips

Yeah but also everyone could see where everyone was at on the board too..... so they would come ambush you while you were hunting or fishing for no other reason than to just grief .... cuts both ways I guess ... lol

Just wanted to give an update on my ban. I couldn't get a refund so I decided to play story mode until then. Got my ban lifted on 12/20. Started the game at reset level,but I had my 105 gold. I was really worried about the gold mostly and I got it all back. Needless to say I won't be starting any random posses in the near future. Thanks for the help everyone.

The Evans is the best repeater in the game ATM, IMHO. But between the Lancaster and the Litchfield, the Lancaster would be my go-to. The Litchfield does substantially more damage (and it's a really good-looking gun to boot), but it's wildly inaccurate. All the damage in the world is pointless if you aren't hitting your target.

@McLawDiz if your using 3 star animals your material bar will go up much further, I had the hunting wagon on a previous character and to me at least it was a waste of money, the best thing to do imo is kill a npc and get his horse and have your own horse follow you, that way you end up with twice as much material, at the moment it is incredibly hard to level trader, my advice is to do other things and when you come across any animals just kill them and take them back to Cripps. Two star are ok for rabbits and birds etc but for bigger game you should really get 3 star if you can, I was looking for animals most of the day and I ended up with a 3 star pronghorn and a couple of 2 star turkeys, it's a hard time for hunting lately and I think that most players are struggling. I have seen players kill players just to steal a carcass which shouldn't be really happening but it is making the killers life a little easier, it's the hunter that suffers. Use the horse trick instead of buying a cart, it's much better.

I don't choose either, I much prefer the Evans repeater to both of these, 26 bullet clip which is almost double that of a Lancaster which if I remember right has 14, same with revolvers I choose LeMat, while npc's or even players are reloading I have the extra ammo to finish them off plus the shotgun shell loaded in the revolver.

Far fetched meaning there may be more to the story or far fetched that R* would impose a 30 day ban for using an exploit / hack in RDO? The fact is that this is nothing new. R* is not the only company to go after those who use certain hacks / exploits in online modes to gain an advantage over others. R* has varying punishments where they may even remove in-game money earned through the use of cheats. .....we all agree to the EULA when playing these games. In the OPs case and the one other fellow, they apparently were duped by a griefer who seems to have wanted to get them banned. My advice even before this came to light is don't join posses with randoms nor let them join yours. You open yourself up to trolls.
