  1. So, I usually send Rockstar a note once a week after a Tuesday update bothering them about the current state of the game, pestering them about communicating better with us. I had said to them, you put out a newswire weekly yet say nothing about the number 1 question from nearly every player currently playing the online game, when are you goign to fix this issue? what are you trying? when will you try it? why wont you try these suggestions,? etc.... and I usually get the exact same reply, stay tuned, we are aware, etc.... Well after a lengthy back and forth with them last week that lasted til today, after explaining to them that fixing gold glitches and ignoring animal spawns is discouraging for players, preventing solo lobbys yet immediately fixing a duplication glitch isnt a good look. anyway, my last reply from Rockstar came this morning, in it they said this, I am going to copy paste their words. " we would like to inform you that these issues will be fix along with new patch," Now, we were talking about Tuesday's weekly updates just before this, so to me and I said this to them, it looks as though he is saying this weeks update may contain a bug fix for the animal spawns and server issues. I cant be sure obviously for all I know he meant a patch that is coming down the road or in a certain amount of time, but it does give me hope. It is the first time they ever said anything other than the same old nonsense, stay tuned, we are aware of the problem etc.. I had made suggestions, create a "Hunting mode" and allow players to join a session that is capped with 12 players and a 48 hour in game time frame, then booting them back to the server they were on prior to starting the mode, or just limit servers to 12 and see what happens, etc.. as well as several other ideas we floated, but in the end, they never tried anything, rather they are working on it on their end and hopefully will roll it out to us very soon, I feel like it is too good to be true that it will be tomorrow so I am not getting too excited, but it might be. Let's wait and see what tomorrow brings. Tomorrow does bring to those of us on XbX the new added content for both online and story mode that pc and ps4 got a month ago, so there is that, but who knows, perhaps we will be lucky and they will also roll out a fix for the animal spawns, fingers crossed.

  2. I always have a decent stew cooking, and to be honest other players are welcome to it. I agree, if the flag is down we should be able to loot the lockbox - only if you have a lockpick - and take consumables and ammo. If it's available you can fill up on all your ammo.

  3. You could well be quite right, that fits the timeline. IIRC that was also about the time of the internet becoming a lot more politicized, with paid shills, etc. We might be watching the results of an electronic "perfect storm". In my case, it is limited to my particular area, because that's where I've spent the most time these days. I admit my point of view is limited because of this, I generally don't socialize extensively on the net like I did back in the 90's. Old age, work, and family has a tendency to do that

  4. I feel the same way, I never buy the latest, but I like to buy 1 year old tech after it has been proven and the new stuff is about to drop. Like right now, 8k, and mini led and other tech is shown at CES, will be on shelves in most cases by June. The stuff that was out this time last year and was very expensive is now %40 to %70 off where it was 9 months ago, plus they recently added features that only the newest tech in 2020 will have standard, like gsync compatible and free sync, and hdmi 2.1 They added these features to the LG oled line up the 9 series. The C9 is the undisputed leader in gaming and picture quality right now, there really isnt anything out there better or better looking with as low input lag. The C9 in 65" was nearly $4000.00 last year, you can buy one now for $1800, this is where I shine. Now I can do even better and get a lower priced 9 series Oled like the B9 or other, but to me at this point, for the extra $200 or $300 I would prefer to just get the flagship model, if they were $500 apart, then I would step back to the B series, and just get the Alpha 8 engine, but the Alpha 9 gen 2 engine is the best in these models and in 2020 they changed it to gen 3, so to me, if I am going to spend $1500 for second best, I may as well just spend $1800 and get the best. All I know is that 6 years later, every single time I turn on my Vizio 70" I smile, I love this picture everytime and it doesnt even compare to the Oled, so I figured, for the way I use them, and how amazingly beautiful it is, I am all in. Especially since right now, the Qr90 led from Samsung, the number 2 option out there, is actually $2600 for the same size as the oled, where it is usually the opposite, the oleds were traditionally more money, but because of timing, right now you can steal the show with an Oled for $800 less than the comparable Qled, and the differences are very real and worth every penny, the hdmi 2.1 and gsync makes this 9 series oled the best gaming tv out right now and if you have ever stood in front of one to ssee the picture quality then you know how amazing these Oleds look, I cant wait to see RDR2 on a 65" Oled with gsync, Im foaming at the mouth right now. I love tech, I always have, I used to build gaming rigs from 2000 til 2008, then I took a break, but now I want to take some classes and get certified to learn soldering and testing perf boards and other electronics repair, if I knew how to do that I coudl have repaired my tv for under $5, instead of $200 I have to pay a guy to do it for me.

  5. Aye, it would. I did sit at somebodies camp after doing a little jig and donating a chicken... He proceeded to pick up and throw the chicken at me again and again until I figured he didn't want me there. So I left... not first without making some dynamite stew. It went down with a bang; but the dog didn't digest it very well

  6. Way to go Lumper for going above and beyond. I saw a youtube clip (not promoting) that they could be possibly resetting GTA heist glitchers.... That was another nail in the coffin to me that they care about that cash cow more to this day than fixing lets say animal spawns which cripples the trader role. Let's hope they are serious. Once again good job!

  7. Okay, why did someone react to my suggestion of shooting Micah in the face at the beginning of the game with a sad face? I thought we all agreed that we hate him more than being branded with a white hot iron?

  8. https://www.videogamer.com/news/gta-6-development-apparently-confirmed-in-rockstar-games-tax-returns Interesting. Could the "culturally British" bit hint that it's set in the UK? Personally, nothing against anyone from the UK, I rather hope not because I just can't imagine a GTA game set anywhere but in America.

  9. Knowing rockstar, their fix will be....flood the landscape with so much wildlife you won't even see the ground. You'll be walking on a sea of fur. And..... they'll break 3 other things that were previously working perfectly when they "fix" the animal spawns.

  10. I think the point was supposed to be that we could attack camps and stuff but they have really delved into that much, I mean I have been attacked once by npc's since the update that gave us dogs at camp, but never by a player. It would be cool if they added a feature that allows you to steal from camps and attack when the flag is down, so we could go in, and take some materials or a special camp stew we can eat, or steal from the loot box, etc.. Hopefully in time they will add something to that effect.

  11. I play on our 58" monitor (from a large tech company) that I used to work at for nearly 30 years. It's 7 years old and other than some features that I never had a use for (cloud) and frankly never worked right from the beginning, it's been an absolute tank in regard to reliability. The picture still looks great and there are no issues with the quality / performance. I'm quite happy with it. I'm not sure what route we would go if we had to replace it but I'm not one to spend tons of money on the absolute latest in technology. ....but I also don't go the cheap route just because a mfg offers all those other features. I'd rather have a solid product from a solid mfg with perhaps the not so latest features at a decent price which still provides a great level of performance I can be happy with. My mentality regarding computers was the same back when I was still building them. ......some other tech as well as a matter of fact (e.g speakers / sound systems, etc.).

  12. He's right, it doesn't allow you to open a ticket. I could have sworn it did before. All it says is "The most effective way to report a player group is through the in-game menu. You can also report a player group using the tools on Social Club." I would still open a ticket using one of the other selections and then let them know. Ask for detailed instructions as to how to do this via the Social Club if that is the only way because it's obviously not apparent to me how to through that site.

  13. The founding fathers were people that had a passion for video gaming and motorcycle club culture in real life. They wanted to recreate club life online and find like-minded individuals from around the world to form close bonds of friendship with. The purpose of Reaper Lords is all about fellowship. As online gamers many of us spending many hours of our lives online. That time is made better when you have truly good people to spend it with. I have no doubt that many of us have formed life-long friendships that go well beyond gaming. I personally have met up with many LORDs in real life and what has struck me the most is just how comfortable it is. There is none of the initial awkwardness you associate with meeting someone for the first time. We become so close through our online interactions, that it just feels completely normal and natural for us to carry on in the same fashion offline. As for gameplay style we have always prided ourselves on playing with honor. We engage in a lot of fights, but do not grief other players. We have a "shoot back" policy for our rules of engagement, meaning we do not fire first. We love meeting other players online and will help guard deliveries and stuff like that for randoms, but if someone fires on us, we will swarm them until they disengage. With members from around the world we have no problem sustaining battles with fresh blood for many hours straight. While we don't like doing that all the time, it's nice to know we can when we choose to. I've been in some epic battles on GTA that go for 10 or more hours with other big crews and it's a lot of fun. The problem for us is that with some of the recognition we've received in gaming publications and from R*, we've attracted a lot of trolls and silly as it sounds a lot of other crews that are envious of the attention we've received. It's probably not hard to imagine how annoying it can be at times. For that reason we work to maintain a balance between combat and peaceful club activities. Lord knows we could fight around the clock every day if we chose to engage with every group of kids that wants to shoot with us.

  14. The outcome is that, you have to catch it again, so I left the area, went to my camp with Dutch and Co and slept for a few hours and then returned to the spot where the Legendary Fish was located and bingo, it was available to catch again, which I have just, at this very moment have done, hence the delay in letting you all know. Many thanks to you all for not severely mocking me even though it's hilarious as hell and for all your suggestions which helped me immensely. Now to catch some more Legendary fishes. Thank you all once again.

  15. Always. ALWAYS. Relying on Autosave is like letting your idiot cousin who makes his own toothbrushes out of recycled car floor mats do your taxes.
