Tornadoes? LOL no. Everything else, maybe. I can see them upping the snowfall in the cold areas and maybe kicking up some dust/dirt/sand more in the hot spots. I wouldn't mind some thunderstorms either.

The only resolution I have is buying and playing RDR2! But seriously, I don't ever set goals or resolutions for myself. I end up making whatever I want to improve 10 times worse.

I'm not worried. That was 2013. They have had plenty of time and advances in the last 4 years to greatly improve it. Even if it ends up being bigger (the online world), the newer consoles and servers will do just fine.

I hate to rush the year away but come on. It is nearly 2018.... Can it just be 2018? Also, nothing new from what I seen on the game. Kind of lame.

I was thinking around 1890 myself. Just because it started sooner doesn't mean we won't progress through several years. Say they decide to do one more where it is about John being in the gang, this one will run us right to the point of him joining I would imagine.

I didn't care for the trailer so I never even thought to give it a chance. Not really my kind of game. If you are on the fence now, best to wait till you can get it dirt cheap.

If they go to crazy with this kind of stuff then the core of the game gets compromised. So I like the idea? Yeah but you have to consider they want to pull people from GTA into this one. This is going to be their only game going until the next Bully comes out.

Saaaame. I would like to get it sooner but I can bet it still comes on in May. Maybe even June. It has to be April - June and May is in the middle so it just makes sense.

Now this is looking too dang deep into things man. We will know who is in the game eventually. Like stated above, these guys and gals will always have connections with each other if they previously worked together.

So some of you think sales would have been better, others think worse. In my experience, Christmas for most people means spending money you don't have on people you hardly see just to fit in with a tradition no one seems to even agree on. So yeah, I think sales would have been better and I would have been happier to see a September/October release.

The sales would have to be substantial for this to happen. And not only high sales but people jumping online in a hurry, all at once. I can't see it happening again. Maybe if this was another GTA but not a RDR2.

Do you think RDR2 would have done better as a fall release or do you think the delay and actual spring release will be beneficial to sales? Someone I know who used to work for a gaming company say that they were better off having the delay and pushing it to spring simply because because aren't as strapped for cash because of the holiday season.

I am the same. I won't spend money. I play game that reward you for playing. I don't like paying for perks. Never have never will. Solo DLC story lines is one thing but I am not spending anything on clothes, horses, guns, ect for on or offline play.

^^^^ Switch's release basically put a nail in the coffin for Nintendo Handhelds. Not a big deal to me considering I haven't played a handheld system of any kind in years.

I'll be fine with them sticking to what they did in GTA. I don't see why they would change from that. You want people to run out of ammo and have to find it or buy it.

I would imagine this one is up north slightly more so more wooded areas and towns. I still think there will be open dry spaces assuming they allow the map to be big enough.

Question. What makes a game a mainstay franchise? Like if they have an RDR3, RDR4, ect? Considering they did a second one I can see them doing a 3rd, maybe picking up with Jack and ending it there.

I used to have a blast watching them but haven't watched any in a long time. I was looking at what was on GSN and I don't recognize half of these lol This one looks hilarious to me. These people get tricked into answering questions wrong.

I was going to attempt looking this up, you saved me the trouble. My guess is that the game will take place before Jack is born. I had originally thought that Jack was born AFTER he left but he was already 11 and I guess this is where RDR picks up at. Good to know. I am horrible at story details.
