How much do you think I could make by simply googling stuff, throwing it together in a document, and selling it as a strategy guide?
-
My friend brought up something the other day that I didn't think about. In RDR, we played as a married man who turned his life around. Sure, there were criminals about doing dirty things, but for the most part, we saw very little sexually explicit scenes in the game. For a refresher, there was only one actual scene showing sex. (The video plays at the part, it is censored, no worries!) With RDR2, we will be playing with the actual gang, both in it and alongside it so in my mind, I am thinking we will see more things pertaining to sex. I would guess there will be more interactive prostitution, scenes with prostitutes/women and gang members, and things of this nature. How far you think things will go? Know the sex trade was a huge deal back then... How far should things go for the sake of realism?

A lot of the hardcore fans of RDR that I have talked to said they aren't even interested in the online aspect of the game so I am not surprised to see more people saying this. It really shouldn't be a selling point for the game, just a bit of icing on the cake.

How strict are you going to be with the story?
Qu3ster replied to ZLion's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I think this depends on how the game pans out. If the side missions aren't appealing to do and I am more hooked on the story than anything, I will skip them but if they are decent/great, I will mix them in as they become available. Usually, if you skip everything on the side and do little exploring, the game ends up going by a lot faster (be it the case for other games like this) and I don't want it to feel short. -
Buy the violin, borrow the watch, sell the monkeys. Joe is likely to fling his poo around anyways. Also, could make a lot of cash on selling monkeys. $30 lotto scratch off ticket A snake which has rare colorations A bottle of Jack Daniel's

Uhhh GTA V allowed us to create our playable characters online, so it likely won't be much different. I am a bit confused by this...

I don't think a lot of people do, even them die-hard CoD players who do it for a living. No worries there friend. I probably remember 5 dreams a year myself.

What new weapons will we see/do you want?
Qu3ster replied to Looney Dan's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I am going to guess we will see a lot of the same weapons with a mix of new ones. I think think they will do anything over the top, even for online players. They will keep it true to the times though I wouldn't mind some things in the name of comedy, just not weapons. No rainbow lasers, please. -
I am the same way. I like to play games out as I would in real life. Not just running around shooting aimlessly for laughs. I will submerge myself into him and play it with my own intentions.

This would be a good option for some people I am sure. I know a lot of games I had played growing up with my brothers were always a mess. We'd fight over who got to play and it would have been a lot easier to have a split screen option. That was not really a thing back then though.

Wow I remember being so hyped for that trailer and not looking at it, it kind of feels underwhelming. I guess I am used to the more current graphics and style of promoting a game.

Eh all holidays suck in my book and if I wasn't close with my family, I'd boycott them all. I hate how commercial they are these days. People want gifts and only care about how much you spend.

I grew up with my family owning Rottweilers. We lived in a fairly large house but our yard was like a hole in the wall. It was all driveway and then maybe a 12 x 22 strip of grass. My parents put a small pool there as well so even less grass for the dogs. They all seemed happy and none were ever overweight but they got walked 4 days minimum a week. Not short walks either, 1 hour+. I think as long as you make sure you walk it and play with it indoors, it will be fine.

In what fashion would you like to see John Marston?
Qu3ster replied to Reyes's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
Midgame. Why have John only appear at the end? It appears the game won't be starting back too far in the past. John should be from middle to end. Even if we aren't directly working alongside him all the time, knowing he plays a role in the story gives it a HUUUUGE bonus for me. -
I liked what little we have in RDR and I want more for sure. They can have several areas where miner's caves are stationed. If the map is as big as people think it will be, there will be more than enough room for it. Well, that, and mines go underground so it isn't like they will take up much room anyways.

I really don't know what they have planned. I don't want to have one of those games that is releasing new crap so often we get nearly daily updates. That would be annoying. I also don't want to wait for something I want for an extended period of time. Whatever they decide, I am sure it will be balanced.

I planned on taking time off work for the release (figured it to be in May) but this actually works out better for me. I usually take time off for Halloween so now I can just save the days and take 2 weeks off instead of one.

What happened to the Natives was unfortunate and should not have happened but we can't just ignore history because we don't like hurting people's feelings.

They better improve this. There were so many cool aspects of the old west in terms of buildings they missed out on in the last one.

Gambling In Red Dead Online – How Will It Work With Microtransactions?
Qu3ster replied to NewsBot's topic in Red Dead Online
It will be interesting to see what they do with this for sure. I would like to think they include gambling fully, even if they have to do it in a way to prevent using real money somehow. Maybe only using "in-game earned" money. So you can't use money that you got in DLC. -
It's improving the more I focus on positive things. Sure, bad things have happened but I can't dwell on those ya know? I hope things improve for you all out there who are having a bad year.
-
I think this was in reference to the DLC they did the last time, you know where they had zombies. Why is it so bad that they would do aliens instead of zombies this time around?

RDR2 can do better: GTA's DLC and In-Game Money
Qu3ster replied to ZenitH ReX's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
The only thing I seen mentioned about in-game spending was micro-transactions which would mean the DLC will come in bits and pieces. This could be good or this could be bad. -
You could be right. People are focused elsewhere but this is gaming news and hardly has anything to do with new year sales or football.
