  1. Well my base of operations is usually St. Denis. LOL!😉
  2. Blued steel, pearl grips and puma carvings.
  3. Not if you get a headshot. Even if it's not an insta-kill headshot, as is the case sometimes with larger animals like elk and moose, as long as the animal is mortally wounded with a headshot, it's perfect pelt will be preserved when it dies from bleed out. This is the case for all rifle ammunitions except for explosive.
  4. Absolute bull sh*t! I exclusively use the springfield and I've never had an issue not getting perfect pelt. Anyone who says otherwise is biased against the Springfield and a liar!
  5. Sounds fun. I sure hope they fix the connection issues so that I can actually play it. Ever since I swapped out my rented cable modem/router for one I own, I can't play without getting disconnected from Rockstars servers every few minutes. I've tried all the tricks I've read about online to remedy it, but nothing has worked. I don't have this issue with other online games and I'm NOT going back to a rented one! I've stopped playing because of this and it's a shame. This is my favorite online game.
  6. I guarantee you that when it comes to making deliveries, players are going to instinctively go into "shoot first, ask questions later" mode if they see another player(s) within firing range regardless of whether said player(s) truly have intentions to attack or not. If you do not intend to attack and don't wish to die, it's best to give them a very wide berth!
  7. I heard they also worked on stability issues. Is that any better? I recently swapped out my Comcast modem for one I own and ever since then my connection stability has been brutal with constant disconnects. I tried just about every solution I could find online to fix it and nothing has worked. I had to quit playing, I couldn't take all the disconnects.
  8. I go with S&S, fool me once, iron lung and unblinking eye. UE comes in handy since it not only extends dead eye time, but eagle eye time too which I use to scan for non metal detector collectibles while galloping at full speed on my horse thanks to the bounty hunter skill.
  9. This week's legendary bounty had what I believe were the night folk from single player in it which are essentially defacto zombies.
  10. Go into eagle eye to spot the glowing nest. It has to be shot directly. It also helps if you have a scope on your varmint rifle.
  11. Got lucky yesterday. I got disconnected, but the game waited till after I completed my delivery to do so. A couple weeks back, my whole internet crashed during a delivery. I was pissed. My ISP was to blame for that one, not Rockstar.
  12. LOL! Are you on playstation? I had a guy once wander into my camp and mooch some beer. He then left, so I let him go, but if an unknown player loiters for too long in my camp, I usually roll out the welcome mat by dropping the white flag and introducing them to my shotty!
  13. I apologize for starting this argument. When I said that I wasn't an asshole because I choose not to attack another player's wagon during their delivery mission, I didn't mean to imply that those who do choose to attack the wagon are all assholes. I get it. This game is supposed to simulate the wild west. It needs both "good guys" and "bad guys" to bring balance to the game. There can be a fine line between being a "bad guy" and being a griefer who sole reason for playing is to ruin the enjoyment of others for his own enjoyment. In this case, I do agree that since Rockstar practically wants to to attack the other player's wagon, that does not cross the line.
  14. Isn't it also kind of cheating for a true collector to come here for her location? At any rate for today 10/17, she's just southwest of Emerald Ranch.
  15. They need to lower the bounty threshold to be eligible to have a player bounty slapped on you. $20 is too high.
  16. If everyone has access to this map, this thread won't need to be updated every day. Not only does it show you all the collectible locations every day, it also shows Madam Nazar's location. https://jeanropke.github.io/RDR2CollectorsMap/
  17. I've seen it once. I was busy and ignored it though.
  18. I wish you could sell wagons to Seamus over at Emerald Ranch just like in SP.😥
  19. They are well within their right to do and if they want to try to go after me go ahead. I have no issue with having to defend myself. I've been lucky. I've only ever been attacked once and I easily fended it off. Personally I'll never attack another player(unless provoked) even in those structured pvp situations. I prefer playing the good guy(despite my name). Though I have been known to blow away NPCs who piss me off, or if I get bored and feel like messing with them. Besides, attacking a wagon imo isn't worth it to gain a few goods out of it. It would be a different story if you could hijack the wagon and sell the goods yourself for full price.
  20. Nope, that is dead wrong! I've been raided once and my dog came to get me while I was out hunting a little ways away. My camp was along the Kamassa River and I was hunting for birds and gators along the coast north of St. Denis.
  21. Madam Nazar is in a different location every day. Fellow forum members are doing an excellent job of keeping track of her location here. As for your trader "problem", when production stops when you're out of materials, you must go hunting and supply Cripps with more unskinned animal carcasses and pelts and to a lesser extent, other animal materials like teeth, feathers horns and claws. Being out of supplies is completely different. When production is halted when you are out of supplies, that's when you have the option of going on a supply run mission or buying more supplies.
  22. There's a minimum of 60 hours worth of gameplay that stretches out to well over 100 if you are trying to 100% the game. I don't think Rockstar is the one being "greedy" here. Where is the proof that they said they were going to focus on SP as much as online? I do not recall any such thing being said! It was a great story, there's really nothing more to be told and if there is, and if there's enough demand for it, I'm sure the story will continue in a new game.
  23. There is a white dot and you're right it is just for show. The dynamic events in online are designed to mimic the ones seen in single player. Some give you a reward. Some merely affect honor(the old man looking for food at your camp), and some, like the duel, are just there to enhance your overall gameplay experience.
  24. It's really not that difficult. Just ride up next to it on your horse and hit square when you get the prompt, then R1 to hit the brakes(I'm on PS4. Not sure what the equivalent Xbox buttons are).
