  2. ....btw, it's fixed now.
  3. ......well, you didn't forget about us now did you? I don't know. It seems an admin setting was changed in the upgrade that might filter links, attachments, etc. that require approval before allowing to post. I noticed the same thing. ......but if I remember I'll hit up the Admin and see if it can be fixed to help folks out.
  4. ......which probably why this thread is in the story mode section and the OP refers to Chapters, etc. I'm not sure the OP will respond either way though given they haven't been back for over a year and a half
  5. Sorry for the delay on this one. They didn't Tweet the update and I've been feeling that spry lately. Anyhow, enjoy..... NEWSWIRE Red Dead Online September 22, 2020 WARNING: WILD LEGENDARY BEARS SEEN ROAMING THE RIVERSIDES The Owiza and Ridgeback Spirit Bears pose challenges for the most seasoned naturalists and hunters alike. 6. Gamespot mentioned it too although it's just regurgitated. https://www.gamespot.com/amp-articles/red-dead-online-could-be-adding-zombies-for-halloween/1100-6482387/
  7. The M203 was in service since at least the early 70s. I mentioned it earlier but Larry served since the early 80s. ......20 years in spec ops, 15 of those in Delta (Panama, Desert Storm, Somalia, Bosnia, etc.). He knows what he's talking about. He mentions early on in the video that the barrel shown existed prior to the M4 but was later known as the M4 barrel. Just remember that the only reason I even linked that video was a supplement to the discussion about the modifications some of these soldiers were making especially in spec ops where they had way more leeway on such things. CoD Cold War covers the 80s with flashbacks to Vietnam and so on but it seems more focused on that period in the 80s in the maps, weapons, accs, etc. Here's another example of a CAR15 with an M203 attached:. A different muzzle on this one compared to Larry's example: SORRY.... Don't know what's going on with not being able to copy and paste images sometimes after the update.
  8. Are you talking about Larry referring to the M203 in the video? He was in service starting in the 80s. Anyhow, I wasn't trying to prove any point by it, just supplementing Parzival's discussion on the topic. I don't see it that way but ok. I just get the whole vibe of pre-MW CoD which I hated in the step back from the gunsmith-centric design, gameplay, reintroduction if Zombies, etc. MW was a departure from some of that which got me back into the game after many years. ....but that's just me.
  9. Sorry. We don't allow posts dealing with exchange of money whether that's selling items, asking for donations, etc. or wagers like in your case. I deleted that part out of your post as a result.
  10. I know and I get that part of it. In fact, Cold War take that into account with the "duct tape" additions. I just like MW's focus on the guns / gunsmith. CW seems like a step back from that. btw, here's a video of Larry Vickers showing off a replica of the CAR15 carried back in those days. You can see the early origins of accessories they manufacture today from some of these "field' modifications and adopted, non-standard components.
  11. Meh.... Played it last night and reminded me of why I stopped playing CoD. I don't like the reintroduction of classes and less focus on the gunsmith. They also didn't have a hardcore mode we could find in the demo so that just made it worse for us. I liked what they did in MW and it seems to me like Cold War is reverting back to the old CoD flavor. I hope IW stays the course with what they started in MW.
  12. It sounds like their might actually be another mode included after reading the article.
  13. Saw this article today. Not sure if this is only PC related but it's interesting. What do you all think? https://www.pcgamesn.com/red-dead-redemption-2/online-halloween-zombies?amp
  14. I don't like making consecutive posts but for those following his thread I wanted to show the link to that article: https://www.pcgamesn.com/red-dead-redemption-2/online-small-lobbies?amp
  15. Just read an article today that some folks are reporting sessions are back to normal at least on PC. .....consoles could be next.

    Playstation 5

Yeah, well, there will obviously be a lot more than Farm Simulator available on PS5's release. ....including your PS4 library that will be compatible. ....and for PS+ members, you will be able to download the following titles: God of War The Last of Us: Remastered Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Battlefield 1 Monster Hunter World Fallout 4 Final Fantasy XV The Last Guardian Ratchet and Clank Infamous: Second Son Days Gone Bloodborne Detroit: Become Human Batman Arkham Knight Mortal Kombat X Persona 5 Until Dawn Resident Evil: Biohazard Personally, I'm looking forward to see how some of my favorite PS4 titles will work with the additional horsepower of the PS5. ...and of course, a couple of the new PS5 titles. The thing is, it's not like the PS5 will be a paperweight while you wait for PS5 exclusive games. .....but if you don't see value in buying one on release, c'est la vie.
  17. Well, unless you're an interdimensional traveler caught between parallel worlds with alternate realities and no way back, we should still be here.

    Playstation 5

I'm definitely not hinging my hopes of getting a PS5 pre-ordered on that email I received from Sony. I just mentioned it as something I registered for as another option. Apparently, they are supposed to be considering people based on their history and activity. I'm on almost daily in regard to gaming but we use ours all the time for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YT, etc. I put the PS5 on my Amazon wish list so I should be notified when they are available. .....not really interested in picking it up from any B&M stores, etc. Either way, I'm not too bothered. If the standard editions are scarce up through release, then I'll just wait. ......if I can get it on release, then great.

    Playstation 5

Didn't know Amazon already had them available. I received an email from Sony about a month ago for a preorder but I don't know if I was chosen yet. .....only some were supposed to be.
  20. 1. Why do you like RDR2 the most? - It's open world freedom that allows the player to explore, participate in activities, interacting with the environment, NPCs, etc. Discovering the multitude of little details throughout the game. 2. Who's your favorite hero in the game? I think I know the answer, but still - Arthur 3. What do you like doing in the game the most? - Roaming the open world doing various activities including the random encounters, etc. I liked this more than the main missions. 4. The game is very beautiful, full of various colours - so, what colour schemes do you like the most in RDR2? I know it might hard to answer this question, so here are a few examples: E.g. epic orange of sunset, or desert at solstice. Or you can just name the colours you admire the most in the game - Not sure how to answer this but I think the colors of daybreak and sunsets are pretty impressive. ....oranges, blue of the sky, etc. Things most folks admire in the real world. 5. Weather. Since most of the colours are changing with weather and the weather is one of the most remarkable things in the game, could you, please, tell me what weather in the game do you like and why? - After a heavy storm is kinda neat. When the clouds break, Sun comes out and you can see parts of the clear sky. Water puddles still on the ground, etc. It's also kind of a relief at that point. btw, I'm guessing this is more about the main campaign, correct? If so, we may need to move this thread to that forum instead of the Online section.
  21. Not yet but I'll let you know if we do. Thanks.
  22. I've been playing CoD MW with friends on weekends. We only play Hardcore modes though. ......can't stand the sponginess of the damage model in Core. I'm also playing those other games I mentioned during the week including GT Sport which I picked up for cheap recently. ....Ark is a good one.

  24. I can't participate in your poll because I neither "love" RDO nor have I given up on it. I also don't drop titles like this for other games as I will usually play multiple games depending on which of my friends are online, between updates, depending on my mood, etc. As it stands, I still like RDO and it has remained on my SSD since it was released. ......just like game like GTAV and DayZ. In fact, I still have to finish Ghost of Tsushima and Days Gone as my single player games. I also started playing No Man's Sky again every once in a while given all of the updates they've had that has transformed the game. Just yesterday I re-downloaded Ghost Recon Wildlands as one of our friends has just discovered this game and wanted to play co-op. No, I don't love RDO but I also haven't passed on it.
  25. As much as some folks may like the low pop servers, I highly doubt R* is planning to keep them this way. I think their intention has always been to keep the population where it was but whether this is a result of testing the relationship between issues and the pop, a bug or a way around issues for now, I doubt it will remain as such. ......IMO at least. They are still pushing for PvP, posses, PvEvP in activities, etc. and that simply doesn't work like it is now and they know that.
