RDR2 Cut Content according to a developer
Kean_1 replied to DanDud88's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
....it's just you. Seriously though, I haven't bothered (or had a desire) to revisit that link again since I first did almost a year. IME, you throw enough darts, you're bound to hit the board at some point. .....perhaps more. Everyone remembers all the times they won in Vegas but not necessarily all their losses. Maybe I'll go visit it again but IIRC, that discussion was mostly about things they left out of the story which has remained relatively unchanged since release. -
No idea to be honest whether it's a widespread problem affecting all sessions, affecting only certain platforms, etc. I haven't heard a lot about it but maybe that means folks have just been living with it. Personally, the couple times I logged in since he animal spawns seem to be resolved, I hadn't noticed a problem (PS4).

......or maybe some others simply don't have the issue?

Hi @polishcowboah and welcome to the site. The intention of this sub forum was as a resource for the community to help find friends / groups to play RDO with. I get that some folks only join here to tap into that and that's ok but please keep in mind that promoting of your posse can only be done here in this forum and only where appropriate. Members only get one recruitment thread each. My suggestion is that you read the forums rules stickied at the top of this page as well. It's appreciated.

RDR2 Original Score coming to Vinyl and CD (Limited Release)

There's no need for all that. Next time, please just message me or one of the other mods and we'll closed the thread if it's no longer active regardless of the reason. @Dutcher, There are several other threads around here that are active and have more recent replies. I would suggest posting in those with maybe focus on the recruitment threads created by members more involved in the RDR2.org community vs. those who use this site solely for that purpose. That's just my personal advice. I'm locking this thread now as the OP is obviously not actively looking for members to join anymore.

IIRC, you just jump on your horse below and if you're both in the right position, you can land in the saddle. I did it a few times before in Valentine I believe from the second story balcony of the hotel. I think I hitched my horse below first to keep him there.

Honestly, I don't know if PC is just that bad or maybe it's something you're doing / not doing. Not knowing exactly your situation my general advice would be to take advantage of the Defensive Mode option first of all. Also, I'm not sure if it's the same on PC as it is on console, but when you join an online session the game tends to bunch people up. When I'm hunting, I join a session in an area 2-3 territories away from where I actually want to be so I travel and then hunt. This helps get me away from folks on the session and give me more time to do my own thing. Never trust a blip on the radar and maybe consider teaming up with others who also like to do the same activities. We have a Posse Recruitment forum on here as well where you can find groups to play with or simply start a thread there searching for like minded community members to team up with. ....that would be a start at least.

Hi Karma and welcome to the site. You're entitled to your opinion and for the record, not "everyone" here thinks RDR2 is the "greatest" ever nor without faults. ......but you are on a fan site so yeah, I would expect you might run into folks who like the game. There are quite a few of us who have been playing (some off and on) since the beta on console. The content that there is now is much more than what we all started with but I do see people's desire for more. I wish it too. The thing is, content is cumulative in this game like it was and is in GTAO. Obviously, GTAO has had a lot longer to accumulate more of it. .....but RDO will become more robust as time goes by. I suspect the trend for content drops will continue for this year as well and R* has already said they have a lot more planned. Either the PC community in RDO is way different than console or GTAO PC is a really mellow place to be because it's the exact opposite for me on PS4. That said, RDO has it share of griefers but they are way easier to avoid than in GTAO IME. .....although you guys have those problems with modders and hackers we really don't. You haven't missed much in that time as there hasn't been any significant content added between then and now. Nothing wrong with shelving a game for awhile that you get bored with in between updates or even leaving it all together if it's not your cup of tea. Nothing weird about it. RDO simply isn't some people's cup of tea and that's fine.

The PvP is at least cross platform, yes.

Hi Drom and welcome to the site. fyi... I re-pasted your link so it would embed the video into your post for easier viewing. Hope someone here is able to get you squared away.

This update seems pretty slim on top of that. .....but they are still trying to fix the game. I logged in the other day after weeks of being away and was surprised to see tons of animals on a packed server. Fixes are at snails pace but they are still working on it. I'm planning on putting in some more time since the animal spawns were the main reason I shelved the game for a while.

Yep..... Also if the kill is next to other obstructions where it interferes with the animation. Welcome to RDR2.org btw.

Well, the bad news is that member joined here and has only made that one post since December of last year. They haven't visited since so I wouldn't bank on them coming back. However, someone else might have an answer for you so let's see..... Welcome to the site btw.

Yeah, sorry. I guess I didn't mention platforms. Yes, PS4. It came out last year. Not really my cup of tea but the coop portions are kinda fun and I did enjoy the campaign although I usually don't buy these titles because the campaigns are so short and on rails. We really want to play more of the Spec Ops coop missions which are kinda fun. We just need people we know instead of just being paired with randoms.

Couple things.... Their Support appears to be tiered and yes, the initial contact does seem to be from a support center. Not uncommon in a lot of businesses. They operate from scripts which is why folks get common responses and only know what they are fed. Updates the company feeds them can also can get overlooked at times by some reps / supervisors depending on how good these centers are. Unfortunately, you also get some reps who are absolutely clueless and others that seem to have at least some basic grasp on troubleshooting. It used to be that you could get things escalated quite quickly but ever since PC release their Cust Support has suffered greatly. In regard to gambling / poker, R* knew darn well what they were doing and the hurdles in this regard. The issues you are experiencing so far seem to be relatively isolated. I hadn't heard anything about a widespread problem in this regard. .....not yet at least. Also, considering what they've done in GTAO with the Casino, I'm guessing expanding gambling in RDO wouldn't be an issue and who knows, perhaps they will. To be honest, I don't even know how they got away with it in GTAO considering you can buy in-game cash with real money. At least in RDO, GBs are essentially separate from the cash. Either way it appears they felt quite confident they had the conflict of interest concerns licked.

Ok.... Wasn't looking for a critique on the game but thanks. 😄 This was more to find folks who are interested in coop to see if they want to play together.

Anyone playing CoD:MW and if so, do you folks play the Special Operations / co-op missions? I have a friend who bought the game and although I liked the direction they were going with some things, it was still a CoD, twitch shooter to me. ....but I broke down, bought it and started playing when we would get together every other week for 2-3 nights. Anyhow, the co-op really is more interesting to me and while you can do the classic co-op with just two people or solo, you can't do the Special Ops as it requires 4 people. ....and that's the rub. Pairing up with randoms in CoD really sucks. I thought RDR2 could be bad but CoD is so much worse. No team players or they are just downright annoying. Just wondering if folks here enjoy the game and if they are into the co-op aspects. If so, maybe they wouldn't mind joining up with us some time. We also enjoy the Kill Confirmed PvP matches more than others but really would like to get into Spec Ops with like-minded folks that can communicate, work and have fun together. EDIT: Were on PS4.

I drink my coffee black and my tea plain. ......even teas like Irish Breakfast I take without milk, sugar or lemon. As long as both are of decent quality, I have no problem drinking them straight but again, they need to be decent.

.....please don't spam/multi-post. Thanks.
-
.....thanks for the sanity check. I've been with the game since day one too but haven't been on for a while after the spawn issues. ....although that looks like its finally on its way to being sorted out.

Before the last update I recall having to slow down to equip my hat if I lost it. That msg doesn't sound familiar though. .....maybe Im just remembering it wrong.
