  1. I never liked the gun, I preferred the Springfield but since the update the Bolt action seems better now. I can still see the variant skin they gave us under my white wash coat and added the engraving I love the look of it now white, Im not a big fan of the green one.
  2. Your losing money by selling them separately as opposed to sets. Yesterday I sold every set we have, full, it made me around $4000.00 all at once, and after I did it, I have 4 sets that only need 2 items to sell the whole set again, a few that need 3, and the rest need 4 to 8 items, so those I will just wait til I find more and get them all closer to only needing 2 or 3 items max, then I just take a session and go get those items and then go see her, it is a great way to make $5000.00 a week without putting in too much time. I currently have 10 of many items and 9 of several others, but I wont sell them alone, Ill just hang on to them til I can complete the set, with the maps that are out now and posts and videos you can find any item anytime you want on any day so it really isnt very hard to complete the sets.
  3. Your welcome, it is an awesome tank build, makes you hard to kill, just keep plenty of tonics on hand and use the camp special stews or eat up some Big game meat with Thyme for yellow cores too, now your unstoppable.

Most important stat in there is Stamina, and the higher the better, I am running anywhere I want at top speed and never dropping down 20% stamina, you go til it starts to drop, tap R stick and back to 100% I love this horse, "Breton" If the Criollo was taller I might use it but it is just too small for my taste.

The only way to really tell what these horse equate to is to try them, after a week or two with my level 20 Breton bonded to level 4, I love this horse. I wish it were taller, but it is everything else. I dont even use my Criollo, speed doesnt make it for me, the Trotter and Breton are fast enough and the Breton handles like a dream to me. I loved the Kladrubers, they have a look I really like, but the Breton has proven itself to me over and over day after day, it is a beast. The "best" is subjective, to me the best is a well rounded horse, fast, but sturdy, not scared, stands his ground, but most importantly doesnt run away in a pinch and not return, this horse is alwasy nearby when I need him. I was thinking about this this morning when I took out my Klad, then my Breton, I just love this Breton best over all. In a race Ill grab the Criollo, but I dont race lol so....... its just sitting there,. I wish we could sell other players or horses, I would sell mine for $500to a new player looking for a fast small horse. I think I have over $20,000.00 in horses at this point. 4 Kladrubers, 2 Trotters, 2 Bretons, a Criollo nad a Turk, the $750.00 for each stable space, plus the $125.00 for insurance, plus the cost of the horse and although I dont have a saddle for each horse, I share a couple, I do have 10 or 12 saddles, mostly expensive ones, ,I am easily over $20k in my stable not counting my vehicles.
  6. I will never understand this. If you were playing call of duty, then yeah I woudl agree but you are playing RDR2 the main feature that sets this game apart is dead eye!! Use it!! it is in the game and you should use it with no guilt or shame. I hate it when I hear people saying you suck your using cards? Umm yeah dude this is rdr2? wtf are you doing? It doesnt make a player a better player because they dont use the cards especially dead eye, it makes them silly and an easy target frankly. then again,I look at what everyone is using just for fun, and nearly everyone is using a card load out, so dont worry, load up what works best for your play style and rock it hard man!!

    Bretone

So, when I posted I didnt have the level 20 Breton, now I do. This horse is great. I love the Kladruber, but wanted a most stable temperament, and although the breton is better and faster I did get bucked off around 4 wolves so it isnt perfect. The Kladrubers have a better look I think, taller anyway, but the Breton is my new go to for bounties and most things really. The handling is noticeably better than the kladruber and faster. I even like the look of the darker dapple, it looks very similar to my Kladruber, kind of a blue hue. I did buy level 1 Kladrubers for the all white and black coats, but all others were level 20 the Criollo and Breton are both level 20, the Criollo is faster and all that but I dont love the look or the size.
  8. very reasonable goals. I did grab 5 new cards and got them all maxed out to tier 3, so now I go back and forth between various builds, currently I am running what I consider a tank build. Slow and Steady Iron lung Fool me once Kick in the butt. This combo makes you very hard to kill, gives you enough time to retaliate or escape, I have survived and beaten posse that have come for me and attacked. The main thing I sometimes swap is Ill drop Kick in the butt for The unblinking eye, which gives you 15 seconds of extra dead eye, so depending on your tonic situation and fighting style.....I am trying it both ways, I like it the way it is now without Unblinking. Anyway, good luck with your goal, you can do it.
  9. Thanks I didnt like the all green Bolt action, but I do love the white. The pump looks a lot like the Lancaster, and the Volcanics have a cool look too. I have a feeling these skins are going to be part of a holiday or Halloween theme coming up, we will have to wait and see, but here's to hoping.
  10. I went out today and grabbed the 2 or 3 missing items I needed for my collections and made another $3500.00 tomorrow I will do the tarot cards and 4 or 5 other collections again and make another $2000.00 I have a good rhythm going, I collect as I do bounties, trader missions, hunting, daily challenges, etc.. and then once I get caught up on everything else I look at my collections, and I dont do anything to them until they are all only missing 3 or less items, and then I go get those items and sell them all Thing is I have 9 of many items so I will be doing this once or twice a week, making around $5000.00 a week just from collectibles.
  11. So, I did this to my Lancaster, Bolt action and Pump shotgun. I should have gotten a better pic, I thought I did but this was all I could find.
  12. I was about to say yeah, on the tier 5 wolfman bounty hunt there was a snowstorm, I think 4 and 5 actually and so yeah depending on where you ended up you should see snow, but obviously they can make it snow there so, let's see what happens this winter and Xmas season.
  13. If you dont see her on the map, try opening a map and collecting the three items then she shoudl show up, if not try goign to the last known location, sometimes that works and if all else fails you can look it up on youtube that day or reddit where they have a post about her daily location.
  14. I hit level 20 on all three roles. I bought each new horse breed, and each item available for each role, nothing left to do now but make money. I was afraid that after hitting level 20 we woudl be back to nothing to do, but to my surprise we have a lot going on now. Daily challenges keep me busy for a few hours, running my trader business doesnt take quite the same commitment but takes a little time. The legendary bounty is always fun, I do one a day so I have something to do tomorrow. But the collecting makes the real cash. I found that I have 5 to 9 of most of the items, but in each collection I am missing 2 to 5 items, so now after daily challenges are done, after I fill Cripps and run for materials and supplies, and after I do the legendary bounty each day, I look at my collections, what do I need?, then I take any collection with 3 or less items missing, I go get those last 1,2, or 3 items and then go see Madam Nazar, today I sold $3500.00 worth of collectibles, tomorrow Ill have another $2000.00 and each day that number will go down until I am out of items, then I will forget about collecting again for a while and just pick up whatever I run across as I do bounties, and trade jobs, and daily challenges, and after a week or so when I have multiple of items again, I can rinse and repeat. It is a good system to keep the $$ rolling in and keeping up with daily challenges and gold. At least this is my plan until the next roles drop, probably around X-mas, if not Halloween. I also found I hit level 221 today, I went from 183 to 221 without even trying, just doing the above system, so that number continues to climb, and I dont go get treasure maps anymore, I wait until I have 4 or 5 or more then I go out and grab them all Each day after I am done, I also go to the butcher and sell off everything that Cripps wouldnt take so as I lg off I am set for the next day, and all I have to do is come in and start on daily challenges and then keep Cripps running, etc.. Everyone likes to play there own way, I found what for me works well, a good way to make pretty consistent money while getting my daily challenges back up to 21 days so I can get the .5 payouts again. Today I had $242.54 when I went to see Madam Nazar, I left her with #3650.00 and now that I have nothing left to buy, I can see the money building up very fast. Whats is your daily strategy?
  15. Sweet!! Good horse too, BUT take him to where there are cougars, or try a pack of wolves, several gators, etc.. they just dont cut it, they will buck you off and run for the hills, lol. Probably the fastest of the horses, but unless I am racing, I dont need that little extra, the Breton and Klad are both fairly fast, the Fox Trotters too for that matter. But it comes down to preference I suppose. I do prefer to stay in the saddle when surrounded by wolves or bandits. My advice would be get what you can as you go, do try them all, at least one level 20 of each breed, then decide for yourself.
  16. Ok, so the time has come to evaluate every level 20 role horse. After buying and trying each new horse breed I have concluded my new favorite horse is......... The level 20 Breton!!! WoW, an amazing animal. I was really loving the Kladruber, its only faults are top speed, and temperament in tight spots. Although better than the Missouri Fox Trotters, or Turkoman's, the Kladruber has a few small flaws., While doing the legendary bounty "The Wolf man" on the 3rd level the wolves were a little too much for the Kladruber and he did buck me and leave me to die, that was a little frustrating. So, I tried the Criollo, this horse is my least favorite of the three, yes it is fast, and quick, But it is a little small for my taste, I dont love the looks and it doesnt have that solid temperament you want for legendary bounties and gators, wolves, bears, snakes, and cougars. The Kladruber has the size and the coats, they are just an amazing looking horse, But as I said they do struggle with temperament in a pinch. This brings us to the Breton. a horse I was not excited about at all. I looked at them and thought, meh, too small, not very fancy etc.. But ok Ill try one. WoW was I mistaken. Instantly I knew this was the horse. The added speed and acceleration becomes apparent immediately especially going from the Kladruber. The Breton feels smoother, faster, quicker, and is super balanced. It even sounds a little different, I likened it to a Kawasaki Vulcan compared to a Harley Road King, the rumble was deeper, and smoother, and a little meaner. Now I love the posture of the Kladruber, still do, looks wise my favorite of the three new breeds, But the Breton is a close 2nd. The real difference comes when you go to use the horses. I binge played the Bounty hunter to get my level 20, I just crammed them in one after another til I hit 20, it was tedious, and I did them all on my level 20 Kladruber. But then I did a few on my new Breton and the difference is solid. The Breton is made for this work, has patience with snakes, and animals in general, doesnt love gun play but will definitely stand still for it, everything about the horse just feels better. Keep in mind I am level 2 bonded with my Breton but level 4 with my Kladruber and still the Breton feels much better to actually ride, that surprised me to be honest. I wish he Breton was a little taller personally I just prefer larger horses, but in all other aspects the Breton for me takes the cake. Now in a straight race, I might bust out the Criollo, or a Fox trotter, out for the day doing collectibles and stuff, the Kladruber, very enjoyable horse, but for hunting, bounties, gun fights, etc.. it has to be the Breton, period hands down, the best most manageable horse in my opinion in the game currently. I wouldnt bother with a mid range or low end Breton, just wait til you can get your level 20. The only breed I kept a low level horse from was the Kladruber and simply because they put out a perfect black and a perfect white, so if you enjoy those colors on a horse, these two to me look the best, the Arabians have this too, but they are tiny horses, not suited for anything other than a race, but the Kladruber is a fierce tall horse that when you go all white or black and match your outfit you look amazing. Otherwise the level 20 horses are the way to go in each case imo. Thats it, I have owned and ridden all the horses now, I have to say the Breton is best over all, the Kladruber is 2nd in my book and the Criollo third, and good for races I suppose, I dont love the colors or coats of the Criollo either so it may just be my bias in that regard, but it doesnt do anything for me, I did keep one, the level 20 one, just in case. FYI my stables are full and I actually had to discard a horse to fit my new Breton. I know we are getting more roles in the future and perhaps more horse breeds, ya never know, but til then, I feel like I have a horse for every situation in the stable, sometimes I break them out just because I can.
  17. I use this time to hunt mainly, so you always seem to have several minutes left over, anywhere from 4 to 9 minutes at the end of most missions, so on the way I kill anything that moves, and I have my horse follow me so I can stack him up. I find if I look for collectibles and hunt while on missions, when I am done, I can always go back to Cripps and load him up, he is always 75% or better full in my camp whenever I can keep it going anyway, then I also stop at the butcher and sell him everything Cripps doesnt want, but you make money both ways around the side missions whether they be re supply missions, bounties or hunting a collectible, the only time animals are sparse is while in free roam actually., at least it sometimes seems that way to me. I do the same thing, but I also do the mission whether it be a bounty or a collectible or for Cripps, hunt when you see them, IMO anyway.
  18. PIB is great against SB, otherwise you have auto aim and it works well, you can also dial it in in your settings from normal to wide or narrow and it really helps alot. For defense it isnt any good it eats a slot you could use Slow and Steady in which is fantastic for defense.
  19. Never without one used to be good, now it stinks, a neck shot or face shot and you die, it used to be anything in the head at all and you got a free passs for that one shot, the trick was to use a posse outfit so you could put your hat back on after you got shot but before you re spawned, if you cant get your hat back on its a waste and now the way they nerfed it makes it useless if you ask me, better options out there now, IMO.
  20. I revised my build to a tank build, check it out. Slow and Steady, Iron Lung Fool me once The unblinking eye I am thinking of messing with Unblinking eye and adding yet another defensive card even, but I like the extra 15 seconds of dead eye, so far this build is crazy good for defense, very very hard to kill. Not the best for offensive, but thats another build all together. This build is good for free roam, if someone takes a shot at you, you are going to survive. I had a posse try to stop me from taking a wagon from Rio Bravo to Riggs station, I made it nearly to Blackwater or outside of Blackwater when they attacked, I was able to kill them each three times before one got me with a stick of dynamite, I was 1 second too slow to shoot him or I would have gotten him too, I didnt see him throwing the stick, lol Exploding rounds and the above build made me nearly invincible to them, if not for dynamite I am sure I would have thwarted them, I had tons of ammo left plus dyna arrows. Anyway try it, it is a solid build.
  21. Well, I havent been able to do it yet but I really want to try this shoving, lol. I use dynamite arrows for bounty hunting, when they are on wagons, I blow up the horse to make sure the wagons stop and nobody can ride away, then I deal with the help, and finally chance down and bola or lasso the target last, tons of fun.
  22. I find the animals are everywhere as soon as you start any mission, so what I do is have my horse follow me on re supply missions for example an d I hunt along the way, same with bounty hunts, anything I do I also ride with my metal detector out and grab any collectibles I can find along thee way and I hunt anything that moves when ever I see it. the collector role alone will make you tens of thousands of dollars, and is easy to collect while you do other things so definitely get it started. You can buy maps until you get started, once you have most of the items in most of the collections, then it pays to go out and finish them up and sell them off, I made $4500 the other day in a few hours with only collectibles. I let them build up while I am doing the bounties and keeping Cripps making product, I do re supply missions and material runs whenever I can and then when we hit 100 items I do a local run for the $500, just a litle balance and all of a sudden you have thousands of dollars and tons of gold.
  23. So mine reset 11 days ago, uggg. I was at 98 days in a row!! Im so mad, so for the past 11 days I have received less than half of the gold I should be getting, it went from .5 to .20 per challenge, I did 14 yesterday and 11 today alone, in those 25 challenges in just two days I lost 3.6 gold bars, extrapolate that out to 11 days average 10 challenges per day, around 110 / 120 challenges x .3 gold is a lot of lost gold. So R* sent me 5 gold bars and a sorry. I said, thats not good enough, I did what you asked, I kept these servers populated for 100 days in a row, really I went 31 days, missed a Saturday then did another 99 days, and there were plenty of days I didnt want to turn the game on. Through the whole summer when everyone was getting angry over the summer update not dropping, I was plugging away, and now that the update caused the system to reset my challenge they are like, "oh well" and its a little irritating. Oh well I am making good $$ and gold daily right now despite this loss and reset so I cant complain too much, but its not fair if you ask me. So for the next 11 days I have to deal with it, then after 21 days it goes back to .5 from then on, so whatever, Ill deal with it I guess. I saw a video a guy got 80 bars of gold from R* to make up for three separate things, 50 of the gold bars were for the reset, the other 30 were split between two roles he paid for and shouldnt have had too. Rockstar did say to me that with the latest update they fixed the reset issue and I should update my game which made me half crazy, I was like, what, you think I am not updating my game? lol of course it is up to date, if there was an update I got it. Anyway I got reset too, so I join the club. Luckily gold is crazy easy to earn right now so yeah I should have a LOT more but whatever, Ill get back to 250 gold bars and 10k$ in cash before very long.
  24. Correct. Now, I wonder if anyone ever gets any other response from Cripps when doing the same mission? Even if it is in another part of the world. I keep my camp in Rio Bravo as it is very simple to keep it all going, and I enjoy the simplicity of the missions from that location, but thats not to say if I had my base in Van Horn or Strawberry if when doing a similar mission, (ie: trade a hunted animal for goods from another trader.) if Cripps ever says anything other than, "Well at least you got some of it..." Eventually Ill try the same thing in another location and find out. Every time I report anything to R* they want a video and I am just not loving making a video for every little thing so not sure how helpful they will be without an example of it on video.
  25. Thanks for the explanation. to be clear what I was referring too was when Cripps needs materials/supplies, whether they be tanning supplies or whatever, he needs me to go out and get him stuff. Sometimes as I mentioned above it is to steal them from a train or from a camp, other times it is to find them after a crash and there are wolves to deal with and one in particular mission, when he asks me to hunt an animal and then trade that animal for supplies from a local trader. It is this mission and only this mission that I am talking about. Whether that be materials or supplies doesnt really matter as this is a very specific mission, I may have mis spoke by saying materials but I figured after explaining it clearly people would know wht I was talking about. So, ok once again, and I did this again today, I go hunt a pronghorn, get a 3 star, go to meet the trader to trade him for supplies/materials, whatever, when I get them and bring them back to Cripps, he is disappointed, he says things like, "Oh well, at least you brought back some of it" or something to that affect. This was the nature of my post, and my question. What if anything can I do differently that might get a positive response from Cripps instead of him implying I left stuff on the table somehow. I just feel like I cant do any better than what I am doing. I even left the guy two animals once, he asked for a Condor, I got him 2, three star Condor's but still when I got bak, Cripps acted like somehow I could have gotten more materials if I did better and I just dont understand why that is. I hope that clears it up, yes supplies and materials are different things, it really doesnt matter though as this particular missions is the exact mission I am talking about and his reaction. thanks again for taking the time to clarify. Lump
