What I do is use my horse.... when I find a 3 star I will make my way to a road flee my horse then call my wagon....load the wagon and dismiss it, re call horse back.... That way i can keep the maneuverability and load pelts on (pelts do not degrade).... there is a 2 min cooldown when you dismiss the wagon but thats not a big deal. I'm loving the wagon. I belive you can store 5 perfect large animals... 10 point system 2 points for large animals 1 point for small. So really you can bring cripps back 7 perfect deer.... 5 in the cart 1 on the horse and drag 1. Rinse and repeat! Wagon also saves! Loaded it came back the next day and animals still there for donation. Huge plus

Sorry to hear that, this must be a bug. I did send in a ticket first ticket I've ever sent. I'll try to re-post if I get a response. Sadly I'm at least glad to know I'm not alone

EDIT: So yesterday R* did respond... basically telling me what we all knew that it is "something they are aware of and the last thing they want is to set me back in any progress." They did compensate my account with some gold but not able to re-enstate the streak. I'd still recommend everyone to at least report it.... it is what it is So today I logged on to discover my daily challenge streak has been reset.... I was over 80 days without missing. I will be submitting a ticket but am curious if I am alone on this?

Also with the "Never stopped Like" poll. There have been times I was feeling board but I would just push through. I'm an older gamer so when everyone gets upset about no weekly updates I tend to look past it. This is my first Online game so never got spoiled with expecting new things every week. I also enjoy games similar to Diablo so used to grinding. In another thread/comment someone had brought up most people do not understand coding on any level and just want things right away- I've always had that mindset. It's def hard for a company to try to appease everyone... I'd like no PVP unless structured... If you want to blast other players away play the showdowns don't try to ruin the game others want to play in free roam. Really anticipating this update, I think well all be happy. And with role tokens it's going to keep us from buying everything the day of and burned out by the next week.

Also going to put those servers to the test! Really wish it dropped Thursday so I could have had the weekend to enjoy it

The Outlaw Pass seems pretty cool... and eventually get your purchase price back. With the new Role Tokens i was little worried all the gold and cash I've grinded for since December wouldn't account for much.... But there will be things to buy that I wasn't thinking of (not just merch)

I mis read you were asking about strictly PVP... all the info counts minus my free roam garbage haha. PVP frustrates me as well and its so laggy as far as switching weapons etc I just don't. As cliche and generic as it sounds it's just playing and practicing. I'm currently at 183 and thats just free roam. PVP sometimes just for the daily... and if I'm in a posse and people come after us. I still run slow and steady... it's top notch for hideouts and ambushes. Couple that with strange med- every hit gives back health, eye for an eye- headshots give back dead eye, and unblinking eye- slows drain..... I sit in dead eye through an entire hideout and still come out with almost full deadeye/health Glad I could help you out some.... big game and tonic those matches.... everyone will hate you for it but I'm sure allot of them do the same. And some are just great players

KInda depends of the player's lvl... and your's... are your bars maxed out... is he using all damage ability cards.... and tonics Unfortunately with the lack of content tied to the massive amounts of glitchers some have illegitimately amassed a great deal of money to blow. Money many trolls are using for unlimited tonics..... With seasoned big game meat and the right tonics a player can almost become a god... 3 shots for a rolling block to kill them if done right. They can also absorb at least 5 headshots with just tonics and big game... add in slow and steady and never without one and it could be up to 7 headshots. I grind legitimately and don't PVP so going against these bored money glitching people is a waste of time. Mind you I have a large nest egg and could do the same I just don't. I hunt all the time and keep an eye on my map. I've adapted my play style to still have fun and get work done while avoiding most people 90% of the time. I'll find a troll maybe once every couple weeks If you get in the habit of popping a minty big game (they last about 30-40 min) this alone will keep your health up in any chance encounter with one. Maybe enough to tuck tail and evade. Most trolls wont chase you far since you are not playing into their game. Edit: Slow and steady was nerfed but there is still a damage reduction not just about headshots ... use split point... accuracy is everything not damage right now. In a game of headshots it's who gets there first not what damage the gun has (this can be argued) plus ammo is cheap. ... there really is no best gun... it's what you play better with. Volcanics has crazy damage and maxed out accuracy but I play better with shofields. Some like the bolt action I always did better with the springfield. ... run the map... when you log in R* puts you near people... they say pick the opposite side you want and fast travel where you want to be. Thats a waste of money. Just go where you want and explore do your thing. At some point everyone else will span out as well. This has worked for me, just gotta watch your map

The sniper rifle bird challenge frustrated me so much... finally got it after about 60 rounds spent...... -Hate anything posse related seeing as though everyone has quit playing.... alone as well -Gilo monster is bad, they seem to turn them off those days and add more iguana's. Any other day I find plenty -Roosters... finally found the 2 one in emerald ranch and one in bainsworth.... but if ANYONE is around good luck -Anything PVP related

I don't do PVP... I'm not good at it and all I see is $$$ disappearing, so mainly PVE I just hunt/ stranger missions so i use... Slow and steady to help with defense....Eye for an eye to re-coup deadeye in hideouts etc.... strange med to get my health back.... and unblinking eye to slow deadeye drain and for longer eagle eye. Can just sit in deadeye as long as NPC are around. sawed off/ revolver varmit rifle... for perfect pelts bow (favorite weapon) for all other animals with some dynamite arrows when trolls come around. I do switch out the varmit depending on missions with pump action or Springfield

I can see that they wait another week or so... fanbase has really dropped and this seems to be a make or break to draw in new players. Noone I used to play with plays anymore, they played- slowed- got on to do a daily or 2 to keep the streak- then quit. If this update is as big as we think R* really needs to drive up the hype.

Finding that the speed is great but takes too long to shrink the bloom...so if I don't wait now it's taking 2-3 shots to kill. With 6 shots thats not too good....I'm all about money and seems to be a waste. I was using shofield but was finding it was getting too easy to knock off headshots. Went back to the cattleman... looks the best out of the revolvers....very western I agree I could use PIB/ WS.... but currently like the cards I'm using and don't want to switch them just for 1 gun.

Start from one side of the map and work your way over. I was stuck at 49 for the longest time trying to find the last one. Pluck3 is correct...enter every shop- L2 to initiate conversation- back out if you have no business...still counts (no purchase necessary)

What is everyone's take on the double action revolver? I like the fire rate and reload speed. Seems to be on paper on par with the pistols. Damage is less than desirable but a headshot is a headshot. With the lower accuracy not sure if the speed means anything if it takes longer for the bloom to shrink. I prefer revolvers anyone have good luck with it? Thanks cowpokes

Sorry to hear you are frustrated, for real. The high game score is really due to the fact of single player mode. It is pretty phenomenal. Unfortunately the online portion is still a work in progress which does boggle my mind with the amount of content that is in GTA you know they have the knowledge to implement more into RDO. That said I do hate when people compare GTA to RDO....totally different game... With Social club I agree its tough... I seem to never be able to prove I'm a "Human" with those damn pictures if that's what you mean... I either over select cause I am human or the clicks don't register and refreshes.... but for me that's any site with "Re-captcha" I did mention in a previous post that those error messages seem to come in waves.... Some long time GTAO players will tell you they went though the same in the early days and now everything is fine. You could try to lower your MTU settings to like 800 to put yourself in more of a private lobby. RDO does not have dedicated servers from what I can collect but uses P2P... that being said some of the players in your lobby might have a crap internet connection causing you problems. I'm sure my response won't help you but it's just my 2 cents.

This "Error" is actually the RedDeadOnline "Hazing Initiation" through R*. It's designed to be an AI to calculate what players have the will to play. R* claims it's you. You claim its R*.... it's actually R* behalf. I bought into it was me for awhile due to the fact it took literally 6 months to minimize the disconnects. In this time I thought for sure it was my internet with fellow posse members not having the problems. After about 6 months of getting disconnected roughly every 15 min I pushed through and it's much better. Since that time the ones with no problems now have problems.... I tried clearing the cache.... checking ping... upload/download internet speed...router/modem specs to connected device limit...cleaning ps4 fans...anything you can think of during the 6 months and one day just better.... As the moderator says of course report the problem (I never did) the more they know the better for sure.

Some do. I've gotten almost $200 and 1.8 gold... or as little as .5 gold and $80.... A posse member has gotten a handful of pamphlets on top of that payout... with the avg pamphlet going around $500 that's a decent haul in my opinion. I myself have only been gifted 1 pamphlet and have gotten over 100 maps....

That's for the Buckle Awards. Keep an eye on those (Pin the easy ones) its easy XP and at the end you can reset each to earn .4 gold. Reset up to 10 times. As far as the amount of treasure locations not sure. You can also get maps from looting bodies. I've reset the treasure map buckle so the plain and simple answer is you can get more than 100 maps yes.

I've had a map location just not be there. Switch lobbies you wont loose the map. Worked back in the day for me

Pretty good package. It would be nice if they could one day put together a separate package for day 1 players. I took advantage of the free emoji cause why not??? Didn't have the rifle so that was nice. I hope this serves someone good! Looking forward to the summer DLC!

Very glitched! I've done shotgun headshots to no avail! I seem to have a 50/50 success rate on the defend the campsites. If I do manage to stay alive there is a good chance one or more of the campers dies. I have cleared successfully but super rare. Don't even bother most times I see them.

Like Kean said paraphrased depends on you and your playing style..... what works for me is.. 2 duel Schofields with Split Points... For gang hideouts, ambushes, NPC. Split points for super accuracy- stacking XP, cheap and can craft without always needing a Post Office. Varmit Rifle... For making money... In a pinch good for NPC headshots Bow all ammo.... Can take down any animal and usually re-coup your arrows, decent for people protection and fun to use Obviously for my build I don't participate in PVP so might not work for you.
