I'm not too great at coming up with gang names myself and I don't know what your gang is gonna be about so I just took inspiration from the leaked map and the brands seen in game, here's some that have somewhat of a ring to them. The Itchy Finger Gang Vultures & Vagrants The Ferry Fighters The Roanoke Ridge Raiders The Saloon Shootists The Van Horn Hoarders Varmints Of Valentine The Bronc Breakers The Cumberland Collective Flock Of Crows The Unmentionables The Fan Ham Bang Sisika Survivors The Bacchus Bridge Butchers The Whittled Warriors

I live in a large city but I'm a tad lazy so I've never gone to pick up a game at midnight even though I'm sure I could find one close by, I remember when a guy got stabbed waiting to buy a copy of GTA IV and 5 years later some other dude went to the midnight launch of GTA V near my college after which he was stabbed and had his copy of GTA V stolen. Both men survived but it's crazy the level of violence some people deem as necessary to rob someone. I'm just gonna buy digital and predownload it, I run enough risks with people like that as it is.

@Truth If it was added to Red Dead Online, it would be cool but ultimately game breaking.

Rockstar: "Of course not, we wouldn't make the same mistake twice." Six Months later...

I wouldn't rule it out but I doubt it's something their thinking about, The Warriors is nearly 13 years old and when Rockstar do remasters or make things backwards compatible it's usually on the 10th Anniversary of the game's release. Rockstar already rereleased The Warriors on the PS4 but if they do decide to do something else with The Warriors I hope they don't remaster it for Android and iOS then port the remaster over to Xbox One, that would really piss me off. I bought the original GTA SA digitally on Xbox 360 back in 2012 then in 2014 they remastered GTA SA for Android and iOS then ported that over to Xbox 360 (they removed the original from the marketplace at the same time) and later Xbox One and sold it as an Xbox Original that was now backwards compatible, it had massive button prompts on screen because it was made for Android and iOS touchscreens, there was no couch co-op like the original game and only the characters heads were remastered so everyone had heads that were darker than their bodies. Sorry for the rant but damn, one of the most annoying things Rockstar has let happen in recent years.

Posses are now available - POST IN SUB FORUM FOR RECRUITMENT

You can create or join Clubs in the Clubs section of the Forum, it is not linked to Xbox Live or the PSN but you can specify which console your Club is for when creating a Club. -
As the hype train for Red Dead Redemption II rolls forward and picks up pace I find it harder and harder to wait for release and until the news ramps up in these last two months I'll remain bored so to avoid the boredom I'm gonna just use this Posse to post Emblems for now while I count the days, hopefully we'll continue to attract new members to the Forum and maybe some of them will join this empty Posse so that I'm not just posting to myself. Original ideas for Emblems are hard for me to come by so some are just inspired by pictures I've seen, whether or not I'll be able to apply them in Red Dead Online remains unknown but I enjoy making them all the same. If anyone wishes to post any Wild West/Red Dead Redemption themed Emblems or artwork they've found or made please feel free to do so. Nothing special about this one, it's my Posse name over a Billiard Table with two LeMat Revolvers. These are the silhouettes of Franco Nero as Django, Lee Van Cleef as Colonel Douglas Mortimer and Clint Eastwood as Josey Wales, I'm not skilled enough to make them in the Emblem Editor with any substantial detail so I went for a sundown theme. This is a cow skull with Native American decoration that I saw pictured somewhere, not much more to say about that. I made this after being inspired by Benjo's Posse name and Trump's funny looking face.

I've seen a few people saying that this is our first look at Red Dead Online gameplay because he looks quite similar to the Online character shown in the description of the Ultimate Edition but I feel he looks different enough to just be a random character from Singleplayer as he doesn't have a ponytail or the same clothes as the Online character, the only similarity is his facial hair but I could be wrong as we don't get a good profile shot of him.

Yeah, I'm sure we'll have more gameplay and far more interesting things to look at by the time the issue drops but we'll just have to wait and see. -
Glad to have you Fribbo and don't worry, we're not all PS peasants. My GT is Truth Ride. Disclaimer: I'm joking, I greatly appreciate both consoles as neither would have such a competitive drive without the other and I'm not trying to start a flame war. In all honesty, the joke is gonna be on Xbox when PS get the Online DLC first.

There are people who will never play RDR2
Archbell replied to Benjo's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I can understand people who just prefer to watch TV, go see a movie or read a book but I can't understand the people who are hyped for Black Ops 4 and/or FIFA 19 but they have zero interest in Red Dead Redemption II and assume it'll be mediocre. EDIT: After thinking about it I've realized I was foolish to be confused by people preferring other upcoming games, people find enjoyment in different things. Red Dead Redemption II is going to be a high quality product without a shadow of a doubt but not everyone needs nice food, fine art or certain experiences to enjoy themselves and would prefer other things in their place. I used to work for this guy who could never maintain a private life, he got all the enjoyment he could ever want from drinking Supermalt, going to the theatre and banging escorts at Premier Inns. I didn't see the appeal in any of those things, I was a young loser and spent most of my time getting plastered on cheap booze, playing games and banging in parks because I lived in a packed flat. My long-winded point is that it's silly to see people as foolish for not being invested in or playing video games, I know people who are annoyingly more fulfilled and way happier than me and they do nothing but eat haggis and work the rigs. -

I was hoping they'd have an exclusive cover picture, just so that we would see something we haven't seen before. This is just a screenshot from the gameplay trailer, I'm still interested to see what they say about the game. -
I would like some realism such as enemies carrying more varied weapons like Fribbo said and I love CMcC's idea of having some enemies surrender after which you can either shoot them or spare them, a feature like this would definitely fit with the style of interactions and choices we'll be making in Singleplayer. I hope they don't make the Gang Hideouts in Red Dead Online like the Gang Attacks in GTA Online, they had horrible spawns and everyone who was in one was automatically given God Mode.

I worked as a jeweller in Camden Market, London and later I worked as a seller for a jewellery brand in Central London but I've never been too into jewellery myself. I've never had any piercings, I have some chains along with a few pinkie rings I won playing Pool but I rarely wear them and I've never even owned a watch.

I'll probably try and get to a stable point in the story, get past the introduction and gain a basic knowledge of the game world then I'll see how I feel.

What 3 things are you most looking forward to doing?
Archbell replied to debbo89's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
A lot of the gameplay shows Arthur roaming the vast open world alone, I feel we'll have plenty of time away from our gang which would make it possible for us to meet characters that John only met later on in 1911. We know from Rockstar's description of Trailer 3 that the story of Red Dead Redemption II starts in 1899 when a robbery goes badly wrong in Blackwater. Newspapers in Red Dead Redemption state that Landon Ricketts was involved in an incident known as the Blackwater Massacre of 1899 which was described as a bloody fight between outlaws and lawmen that took the lives of as many as 37 people (it is also hinted that Bonnie's brother and Archer Fordham's mother were among those killed but that's far from confirmed), it is also suggested that this was one of the reasons Landon Ricketts travelled to Mexico to live a more peaceful and inconspicuous life. The actor who provided the iconic voice of Landon Ricketts unfortunately died in 2011 but I wouldn't be surprised if Landon Ricketts is talked of during the beginning of the game in a newspaper or by dialogue. This would be cool, especially if it's set when Landon Ricketts was first gaining fame in the mid 1870's. In Red Dead Redemption Seth states that he once had a wife, a family and a business but he lost it all when his lust for treasure took control of him so it would be cool to see him as a young business owner with aspirations and no vices to speak of. -

1. Exploring the map and discovering interesting people and places. (Saint Denis is top of my list in terms of places to explore) 2. Bumping into characters from Red Dead Redemption that haven't been confirmed by trailers. (I'm hoping to see Landon Ricketts and/or Seth Briars) 3. Starting a saloon brawl. -

Hey Blondie, how about you tell me the name on the grave and I'll tell you the name of the cemetery? Welcome to the forum dude, look forward to seeing your contributions. -
Same, I also used to enjoy going into wherever a Poker game was being held just to shoot them all down. I'm constantly exceeding my Capture Storage when playing Xbox by recording clips and RDR takes up a good majority of those Captures. https://account.xbox.com/en-gb/Profile?xr=socialtwistnav&activetab=main:mainTab4

When I learned that we wouldn't be playing as John Marston in Red Dead Redemption II and were instead gonna be playing as Arthur Morgan I was convinced that Arthur would die due to the fact that he is not referenced in Red Dead Redemption but seen as Rockstar never do what is expected my money is on Arthur surviving but I do understand that the odds are stacked against him. I'm still very unsure about whether the story will span the several years from 1899 to 1906 when John Marston leaves the gang, the very first teaser trailer for Red Dead Redemption II made me believe that we would see John's departure from the Van der Linde Gang. My belief was that the line spoken by Arthur ("When the time comes you better run and don't look back, this is over") was directed at John. We learn in Red Dead Redemption that John was shot and left for dead during a ferry robbery in 1906 (The ferry on which this takes place is widely assumed to be The Serendipity that can be seen in Red Dead Redemption). During dialogue John states that he left the gang after the gang left him, I think it would be a nice twist if we find out that John wasn't being entirely truthful when he discusses what happened during what turned out to be his last robbery. We know from dialogue throughout the trailers we've seen that Arthur is well aware that their way of life and that of outlaws is coming to an end, maybe he feels his days are numbered because he's a well known senior gun in the Van der Linde Gang and that there is no way out for him but he does see a way out for John and his family so he makes a plan with John and/or Abigail before the ferry robbery which involves him shooting John during the gang's escape purely to maim him so that John has an excuse/reason to leave the gang behind. After doing this and insuring John's path away from the gang Arthur could either die by Lawmen as a result of carrying out this ruse or fake his death when The Serendipity sinks after which he travels to South America or Haiti to live out the rest of his days. This is all purely hypothetical and just the best ending my imagination can muster.
