I got a feeling that it will not be super easy to make money once the game become popular. I think they will start pricing things in an effort to get more people to buy Gold Bars.

I was thinking about trying the Moonshiner DLC once I'm finished with Bounty Hunting which I'm starting this weekend. I finally reached Level 20 in the trader role!. Sounds like the Moonshiners DLC might not be worth it. Maybe I should start the Collector Role instead.

My plans are to keep traveling.

I thought if as long as you logged in prior, you would receive the shotgun regardless of the time you redeem it.

I wish you could upgrade the special variants, or in the case of revolvers, dual wield two of them. I love the High Roller revolver, but you can't dual wield them. How cool would it be to dual wield two of these .38 cal revolvers in a 1874 Huckleberry shoulder holster with cavalry style cross draw holster!.

There is nothing wrong with your gaming laptop or PC gaming on a laptop in general. I'm having issues with my gaming laptop as well. The problem is RockStar. I don't know of a fix for you or if there is even a fix as I can't find one either. Consider this, both your laptop and mine are way more powerful then the base consoles which run the game fine. The problem is optimization.

RockStar makes all these claims that they patched and fixed things in this game, I'm still having problems with animals spawns and I finally get into a session with decent animal spawns only to have my camp not pitch. 15 minutes spent trying to get my camp up. I'll be glad when I get to rank 20 with the Trader Role so that I can be done with this crap. I wanted to unlock the level 20 horse this weekend but that's fading away fast. I don't think they fixed much of anything with this patch. Oh, did I mention the infinite loading screens since the new update.

I mean it doesn't look bad and I agree with you, I only care about how it performs. But this is important to a lot people and I can not fault anyone for that. I hope they release more information about the specs before E3.

This is merely cosmetic as both revolvers perform the same when not cleaned, but for those who are interested the following photo shows the difference between a silver finish (on the left) and blued finish (on the right) when not cleaned. Note how the blued finish revolver has quite a bit of surface rust built up as you would expect from a cap and ball revolver in real life while the nickel plated revolver is taking the abuse much better, as nickel plating would in real life. I'm impressed that RockStar took the time to research the difference between finishes and implemented their durability into the game.

I have the same problem. Camp pitching issues, camp not showing at the map location, etc. When animal spawns are low, I just keep joining new sessions until I find them.

Updated one of my two Colt 1851 Navy revolvers. I like this finish much better.

It's kind of hard to believe that this is anything other than a bad port job. Well some good news for you, the snow is just around for the holidays so you shouldn't have this problem long term.

Not yet buddy. To be honest, I'm not sure if I should proceed with building this desktop. I haven't had the best of luck with the last two games I purchased on PC. I want to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on this PC build, but I'm still having the same issues on my laptop. I currently have only purchased a Ryzen 5 2600 which I got from Newegg for around $120.00 USD. I don't want to spend the money to build this desktop, only to have the same problems with not being able to run the game beyond low settings. I remember reading that the CPU and GPU problems involved i5 CPU's. I believe that the Ryzen 5 2600 is AMD version of the i5. The RX 590 8GB is more than capable of running the game at medium settings, but so is my laptops GTX 1050 TI 4GB. Don't know how I should proceed.

Some of those suggestions are the steps that customer service had me take. I'm at the point that I need to decide if I should proceed with the desptop build that I was planning. I currently only have the Ryzen 5 2600 CPU purchased so atleast I'm not that much in debt for this build. But if I proceed with building this desktop with an RX 590 8GB, what guarantees do I have that I'm not going to have this propblem again. So I'm sure what I should do at this point.

This is me just guessing, but I'm wondering if this is part of the known CPU GPU problem?

I'm at the of my rope with PC gaming. Nothing that I'm trying here with Red Dead Redemption 2 is working, Nvidia suggestions so far are not working, don't know much else I can try. Whenever I try changing any graphics setting and applying those changes, the game menu becomes so slow that I have no choice but to use the task manager to end process because it gets stuck. Update: now after trying multiple suggestions from Nvidia online help, the game will not even run.

I think a lot of it comes down to starting off with a good character in the creator menu before starting. Something that has certain featuers to start with that are the end result of what you want your character to end up being.
