Sometimes invites don't appear, a bug. Go into your posse settings and switch it from Invite Only to Open and have your friends find it in the posse list. They can join it manually if it's open. Once they're in you can switch your posse back to Invite Only. Now that your friends are in, they can rejoin anytime you have your posse active without an invitation. They'll be notified when your posse is active.

Don't bother buying Nazar's collector maps unless you pop them for the "Use 3 Collector maps" daily challenge. Use this interactive map. It updates automatically and works beautifully on a tablet or iPad. https://jeanropke.github.io/RDR2CollectorsMap/

I think it should split some goods and material to your own camp. Maybe not as quickly as if you were running in your own. I don't like being the leader, I'd rather be support.

I think Defensive mode is as close to perfect as it can be. Defensive mode is not Passive mode. You're playing defensively. You still need to defend yourself but you have a much larger window of opportunity to react. Rockstar doesn't want to divide the players. I don't really like Passive mode in GTA. I can't do a lot of fun things and it pulls me out of the setting when there's a ghosted out player toddling around. The next thing Rockstar needs to implement is Private/Invite only sessions.

Sometimes there's a glitch where a player skins an animal and the pelt duplicates for whoever is within a certain vicinity. The player who skinned the animal can't see the extra pelt dropped, or other players interacting with it. For the nearby players though, feel free to snag those pelts because they usually end up 3 stars no matter what the parent pelt was. I've only seen this work on smaller rollable pelts, not large pelts. In this case, I'd go with pelts a player simply left behind for whatever reason.

On a PC or another mobile device, just log in with your platform credentials (PSN or Xbox) by clicking one of the logos at the bottom of the login page I'm currently doing the same thing while my phone is away for warranty repair.

Me and @Yourlocalmomfriend constantly do this. I just stand still and laugh as she tumbles over me. Don't think the horse breed matters. I've been on a Criollo, Kladruber, Andalusian, its all the same when she tries to hit me. It must be related to the physics engine and momentum.

*EDIT* Well that was quick! Rockstar have patched this. Amazing how quick they can issue patches when it jeopardizes the carrot on the string of playing a game you paid for on THEIR schedule. If possible I'd request a bend in the rules to link the info compiled thus far from the original Reddit (to credit all involved) to be hosted permanently here. @Kean_1, your updates have come in handy to see what was added and when.

My collector bag was indeed free after about 24 hours. and yes, there is a Change Appearance bug that resets your daily streak. I caught mine on video and submitted it to Support. It took them about 2 days to get back to me and they gave me 50 Gold Bars and said they are aware of the issue.

Good call, thanks. I don't even know if my camp spawns, I tend to not call it in since it's a waste of $1.00 every day since it's essentially useless right now. It spawns in after I join a friend once in awhile. Another potential "bug": Does anyone who uses the standard Third Person controls (where PS4's "X"/Xbox's "A" is Run) notice that either on foot or on horseback, your character/horse refuses to run? I keep it set to Tap to run/spur but it's like not every tap registers. On horseback, the best I can do sometimes is a slow trot and the third person camera sketches out and tries to zoom in and out all haywire. I was wondering if it was server lag or something because sometimes it's fine. I do have a new controller (PS4) I'm using too.

Oh wow, I knew support was bad but that's just a new level of bad. I'd definitely reopen that ticket by replying to it (if it allows you to) or submitting a new one with a screenshot if you can't reopen the ticket.. *Edit* Hey @parkenman - By any chance could you have loaded in Split Point ammunition instead? I just purchased the Split Point pamphlet tonight and the max amount you can carry is indeed half of the other main ammo types. So, 100 rounds for repeaters and 50 rounds for rifles.

Well there's still a lot of bugs, but at least I know they are. However, I recall reading about this particular issue early on and it appears I have been afflicted... Posse size limit. I have a Persistent Posse and I paid for the Large camp upgrade to get my posse limit from 4 to 7, but it appears I'm stuck with the Small 4 slot camp size. Any ideas on how to fix this, or do I need to contact Rockstar Support?

Eventually if you use the same weapons enough you(r character) will become more familiar with them which helps a TON. I'm currently going back to the starting weapons to familiarize myself with them, such as the Carbine Repeater, the Double Barreled Shotgun and the Cattleman. The Carbine especially is really underrated - it's more powerful than the Lancaster which I was favouring. Certain ammunition for certain occasions, Try to get used to using Regular ammo as that's the only type you can purchase in PVP lobbies. Normally I use Express but I find Regular to be more accurate... I can't wait until I remember to buy the Split Point pamphlet. Diving helps (if you remember to use it - I often forget) Same with Dead Eye (I rarely remember this in the heat of a gunfight) Keep a close eye on your minimap for dots and try to stay low to stay off the enemy radar. Taking cover also removes your dot. If you have an offhand holster, try to not get too used to dual wielding. Use one gun, then switch when it runs out. This way you're more accurate and can "fan" which significantly boosts your fire rate from the hip.

To the top! Looking for a few laid back friends to do daily challenges with and PVE stuffs. Info in first post.

Any Posse Versus challenges. I'm a lone frontierswoman and I wish I had some friends who played and were into dailies and PVE. I'm gonna go update my Posse post I think... I also hate "Skin 2 Roosters" because you have to ride all over the map and server hop to catch a fresh spawn. Oh and I hate "Skin 2 Cougars" as well. If you're High Honour and need Maxim gun kills, replay "Kill Them...". Make quick work of the two gunners in front of the Fort gate and if there's still enemies outside, cut them down with the two Maxims. If your random partners kill everyone outside, simply run into the Fort with your lasso out and hogtie enemies and carry them out to place in front of the Maxim guns. Kill them while they're hogtied 😈 Super fun! Stealth Kills was a pain before I learned you can just go to Thieves Landing and kill Del Lobos with the bow or throwing knives. I usually kill the two standing with their backs to you by the corral when you come in from the North. Usually only the first one counts but if you ride back across the bridge and wait a few seconds for the aggro'd NPCs to cool off, they'll be reset when you come back. Try to keep a stack of Exotic bird meat (Pelicans) in your satchel because like the roosters, once that daily hits, there's hardly any pelicans around. It's so nice to hop online and have that meat ready. But - there is a challenge for plucking a Pelican that can't be avoided. Prairie Chickens are easy to spot because their silhouette is small and they're really "flappy". I can never find reliable Quail spawns but I don't recall those being dailies yet. I'd still like to know where those little shits spawn because they're worth $2 a piece in Perfect condition! Did anyone catch the daily of shooting a flying bird with a sniper rifle the other day? I'm a dumbass who hasn't bought a sniper rifle yet!

I still say September 17th will be the day. I've known for about a month that it wasn't coming today. I'm going to continue to rake in as much gold as I possibly can with the daily challenges and I hope to bring myself up to finishing more of the Single Player story. It's been months since I checked in on Arthur.

Yesterday (lol) for the "Play 2 Free Roam Events" daily challenge, I joined a Master Archer event. Normally everyone is cool about going for the objective and not killing. I was doing really well (ended up 3rd overall) but a Rank 17 player ran up on me and headshot me after he missed 2 or 3 times. I continued playing the objective until I spotted him in his free blue tinted Chuparosa poncho so I dipped and dove up to him as he shot arrow after arrow at me, lassoed his feet to trip him, then ran up and hogtied him. I was just going to leave him hogtied to waste his time and humiliate him but a random "white night" female saw the ordeal and killed me just as the event ended. To her though, I probably looked like the griefer lol. Wish I would have saved that clip 😭
