Archbell Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 Red Dead Redemption II will supposedly feature as many as fifty weapons, it's been widely reported that we'll only be able to carry two long arms, two handguns as well as a knife and lasso on our person at any one time. Obviously what weapons we choose to carry will depend on what we're doing but going off what weapons have been confirmed so far, which four weapons are you most excited to use and what will you be most likely to carry?

CowBoii Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 I'd have to see the options but I do want a bow like mentioned above. Will be great for hunting. I'm not too picky with guns. They just have to have decent recoil.

Manco Posted October 6, 2018 Posted October 6, 2018 I'm gonna just carry the pistol(s). I think it will ruin an aesthetic to me to carry a long arm over Arthur's shoulder in most towns. Out in the wilderness however is a different story. Shotgun or repeater out there.

A trapping device, most likely a bear trap can be seen in the first gameplay trailer but it's only shown as part of a random encounter so whether we'll be able to use them for hunting remains unknown.

Kean_1 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Well, being that we don't really know what will be in the game yet and how they will be balanced against other arms, I'll just mention guns of the period that I would like to carry in the game. I have a few favorites but since we're limited to 2 each (long guns and handguns) here are some of what my picks might be.... Winchester Model 94 (.30-30) Winchester Model 1897 (12 ga) Colt SAA (.45) S&W DA (.44-40) Either way, there are a lot of cool weapons from that era I wouldn't mind using in the game but again, it depends on what those "50" weapons will be when it comes to my final choice.
