Red Dead Redemption 2 - Are Critics Liking It?

Dear all,

Now that we are so close from the game being publicly released, critics and other people have the game for reviewing purposes. Right now, Red Dead Redemption 2 sits at a score of 97, which is currently the highest scored game on the PlayStation 4 of all time right now, but numbers could change when the game is fully released. Due to the fact we haven't had a game score that high ever, gives you a sign on how good this game actually is. A huge variety of gaming sites and critics gave Red Dead Redemption 2 a very high score including:

IGN: 100%

Cheat Code Central: 100%

Guardian: 100%

Digital Chumps: 100%

Playstation Lifestyle: 100%

Forbes: 90%

GameSpot: 90%

Game Revolution: 100%

any many more...

Personally, I think this game has the opportunity to very well be the game of the year, knowing how the major critic scores are looking. I think everyone will enjoy this awesome open world experience. Rockstar is the true innovators when it comes to open world experiences, and I think they have something very special for us when it releases very shortly.

Anyways, comment down below on what your thoughts about the game being so highly scored, do you think this game will go down in one of the best games ever made in gaming history? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions about this.

I called it being game of the year back in 2016. lol I have no doubts for that. Rockstar always gets that award. I can't remember the last time, if ever, where they didn't when they have a game come out.

This is very true, when Rockstar releases a game, which isn't very often, its usually always something special.

I have super high hopes for the game, but until I play it, I have nothing to compare the other critic's ratings to.  I will be able to soon enough though.  I find usually the critics are well, very critical...so I figure if they are giving it those kind of ratings, I have even higher hopes and I am 99% sure I won't be disappointed.  The most disappointing thing for me is that I have to move tomorrow and Saturday and after all this waiting and planning for the day of the release....I can't play it until Saturday night.  It was devastating news!

Well, to be fair.  I haven't played it yet and being the only critic, whose opinion I care about.  I can't honestly say how good the game is yet. :)

Yes, they only opinion that matters in the end is yours!

Yes, knowing big critics, they are the biggest complainers when it comes to judging a game, and knowing Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting relatively high scores, I'm even more excited about seeing what Rockstar has to offer with this title.

There's only one reviewers opinion that i care about when it comes to games, and That's a youtuber called Worth a buy. Other then him. I don't care about all the big critics like IGN or Gamespot.

R* and Santa Monica Studios(devs of God Of War) are the only two companys were i'll pre-order their games. Because i already know their games are going to be good

So.. the opposite of Ubisoft, then?

Also, your new profile photo pleases me.

Once upon a time and only a few years ago, I had zero issues with Ubisoft.  It took one game and them having terrible attitude towards their customers and worse treatment on their forums.  I have zero interests in their pre-orders or their games.  Rockstar in the only one I trust and even, then I have noticed I am a little reluctant towards their games.

I always wanted to see a R* take on Friday the 13th. See how incredibly vastly it would differ from Gun's take.

**** the critics

Critics are just people who have opinions that has the entire worlds attention. Obviously not everyone on the planet of the earth will enjoy Red Dead Redemption 2 because video games are subjective and some people just enjoy different genres of games.
